Hi, I'm 39, originally from Northern NSW and currently based in Brisbane. I'm an electrical engineering contractor and run my own business, with a mix of local projects and work-related travel.

I was originally looking at renting a place on my own, but with rental prices being what they are, I figured sharing a place with good housemates might be a good option, especially as I'm planning to do quite a bit of travelling over the next year.

I'm really just looking for a comfortable Brisbane base to call home when I'm not travelling or working away. Somewhere I can settle into when I'm in town, without needing to maintain an entire place on my own.

I'm pretty laid-back, friendly and easy to get along with. Outside of work I enjoy keeping active, going to the gym, playing sport, travelling and getting outdoors. Always happy to have a chat or the occasional beer, but equally comfortable doing my own thing.

I've owned and maintained my own home, so I appreciate a clean, comfortable living space and understand the importance of respecting other people's space and privacy.

I'm financially secure, a non-smoker, reliable with rent and generally pretty low-maintenance as a housemate.

Ideally looking for a relaxed, comfortable home with friendly, considerate people who are easy to live with.
