    Cher

    $300/week43 year old woman

Hi everyone! I am Cher and I am looking for a flatmate to share a house or flat with. I am presently in Launceston, but willing to move to other areas in Tasmania. I am studying with SUNY-ESF. I have spent nearly 5 years in Hobart and 3 years in the Launceston area, but was stuck overseas because of COVID. I am eager to finally get settled again. I am a quiet person, but I do like to watch movies and hang out. I really enjoy just walking around or going to the gym. I am not into partying, but will occasionally listen to music and dance around like an idiot. I am very into gardening. Love getting my hands dirty. Non-smoker, no pets, and no kids. Just me! I do like space, but cozy cottages are fine too. I don't have a car, so no need for extra parking for me! I love plants, both indoors and out. And I really love to cook. I am not that great at it... yet, but still trying. I come with a bunch of kitchen items (like a giant cast iron stock pot), a bar fridge (brand new), and a lot of pots, pans, trays, and about 400g of yeast for the baking types. As for hobbies, I don't have time for any yet, but maybe soon. I do love hiking and know of a few great places around Tasmania if you are interested. I work as a tutor for math and science. This is mostly online, so you will hear me talking to random people in the mornings and evenings. Aside from that, I am very quiet, well, except for the dancing around like an idiot part. That I will do. I am looking for a place that has drawers or a wardrobe, anything else is a bonus. I am looking for a place to stay for a while, but anything longer than a few months is perfect for me. I will need to be in a place that has decent internet for my job, or close to a bus stop so that I can travel to the library to use theirs. I don't have any social media accounts, so this is why I am not verified through social media. I'm not weird, ok, I am. But, I once had a stalker and my identity was stolen, so I deleted all of my social media accounts. Never went back.

    Dylan

    $300/week30 year old man

A bit about myself; I'm 30, single, non smoker, no pets I'm pretty quiet, easy going and get along with most people well. I like my own space and mostly keep to myself while trying to keep out of your way but I am also social, like having a chat and am up for cooking or sharing a meal or going for a hike or whatever we have in common. Enjoy getting out of the house or having a crack at new things, or checking out new food venues etc. Will pull my weight around the house and pay bills/rent on time - I've lived in share houses before so I know how things work and most importantly how to be a good housemate! Attributes - clean, quiet, reliable, dependable, respectful, trustworthy, understanding, courteous and considerate with good etiquette (well aware of my housemates, neighbors and surroundings) also financially smart and stable. I'm also understanding of different cultures, beliefs and religions etc. Hobbies - I enjoy cooking, fishing, camping, gardening and I'd like to get back into things like hiking, mountain biking (pretty much anything outdoors) and maybe even join some type of team sports and do some forms of volunteering once back in Launceston I've just completed Cert III in Warehousing so once my three weeks of work placement is out of the way (and if that doesn't turn into employment) I'll hopefully pick up work within a few weeks of completion (as I'm not fussy and will work nearly any kind of job) and if all I can find is part-time hours I'll take the opportunity to complete / obtain some more licenses, courses and certificates until I secure something with full-time hours. (I am extremely good at budgeting and am very financially stable right now) I'm flexible with stay length, I'm most likely wanting to stay in Launceston for at least a year or two as I don't like moving around a lot but 3-6mths stay length or shorter could be possible and may suit me fine. The main things I'm looking for is a reasonably priced room in a nice clean house, in a good location with easygoing house-mate(s) hopefully that share some similar interests .. but I'm not overly phased as I'm pretty flexible and easy going with most things .. cheers !
