$375/week•34 year old woman
Hi! 👋🏻 I’m currently looking for one other person to team up with and secure a rental property together. I’m hoping to find someone who’s easygoing, clean, and respectful.
I’ll be able to furnish most of the place including the kitchen, lounge, dining room, laundry. You’ll most likely just need to bring your own bedroom furniture☺️
A pet-friendly place is a must, as I have a Shih Tzu Maltese named Archie🐶 He’s a cuddly couch potato who wouldn’t mind a doggy friend, as long as they’re small. He’s not a fan of big dogs and hasn’t been tested with cats.
The rental I’m looking for:
Ideally, I’m after a townhouse/house or a large apartment with generously sized common areas like the kitchen, dining, and lounge room. I’d love a master bedroom with an ensuite, along with a space to set up a small home office, as I work from home a few days a week. I’m looking in areas within a 10-minute drive of a train station, since I commute into the office a couple of times a week. I’m not into the crammed city life so would prefer somewhere a little further out. A courtyard or small yard would be great, both for Archie and to set up some outdoor furniture. I’d like the main bathroom to be easily accessible from the secondary bedroom for your private use, as well as some extra spaces to make your own, such as a second living area, study, or spare bedroom (that could double as a guest room). A double garage or two car parks and an additional powder room would be a bonus! Ideally we’d split rent and bills down the middle😁 I’ve found a few really good rentals on Realestate.com that fit most of the above!!
A bit about me:
I enjoy a chat, a drink, or a shared dinner every now and then, but I really value my downtime and having my own space to decompress. I mesh best with people who are a mix of introvert and extrovert, as I can get a bit drained if there’s constant social energy in the house. On weekends and after work, I’ll catch up with my friends or head to the gym, but more often than not, I’m happiest at home on the couch spending time with Archie.
I’m not a clean freak, but living in a tidy house is important to me. I try to vacuum and mop at least once a week, clean the bathrooms weekly, and tidy as I go when using the kitchen. I always try to put things back where they belong and I’d rather just get things done instead of leaving it until later or for some else to do. I’d love a housemate who’s on the same page when it comes to keeping common areas clean and respecting shared spaces. If you’re more on the messy side, that’s totally fine, I just don’t think we’d be the right fit.
If it sounds like we might be a good living match, feel free to shoot me a message 😊
