Heya,
I’m 31 years old and have recently been floating around Daylesford-Melbourne after being pretty ill for quite a few years, and wanting to do a bit of exploring :)
I’m seeking a bit of help securing safe accom in Daylesford, Woodend, Castlemaine, or Northern areas of Naarm (essentially anywhere north of South Yarra-Ballarat).
I don’t drive at the moment but have a full license. I worked in the disability sector for several years, studied at uni but had to take a break due to chronic health issues. I have NDIS and a regular income via DSP, for when I need to take a break from working, but like being active in the community regardless.
I have Autism, POTS, EDS, and a few other conditions that I’ve been able to work with a lot better here. I’m still a bit immunocompromised, but the environmental/community care here is helping me out, and I’ve been getting better every day.
I like to keep my space clean due to these issues, but also get a lot out of gardening and working with the local space to regulate my body. I value clear communication, boundaries and sustainability.
I really enjoy spending time in nature, learning about medical/anthropological history, reading, a strong coffee or two, and fixing/working with old technology. I can’t drink/party much with my conditions but love community and a nice time occasionally out of the house, and only smoke outside/on walks.
I prefer anywhere quiet, love to socialize, but value my own space at the moment.
My budget is roughly $275pw, but it depends on location, accessibility, and am happy to be flexible.
