Hello Potential Housemates! I'm clean, tidy, respectful of others' space, easy going, and am seeking house mates with similar values. A glass of wine, or a beer, and a good giggle is about as "party animal" as I get. So I guess I'm looking for somewhere with people that share the same laid back, calm existence. I enjoy clean living, fresh food and like to cook. I'm a full-time teacher and co-ordinate Outdoor Programs for teenagers, so am sometimes away for work and enjoy spending my spare time out and about in nature. I have a little dog called Skippa. He's a Kelpie cross who is really well-socialised with people (he's great with kids) and dogs alike. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Danni
I am an enthusiastic guy who enjoys life and this beautiful world we are experiencing. Fit, healthy, happy and curious about this living journey. I enjoy people, yoga, meditation, cycling and bushwalking. Naturally I am neat and tidy and respectful of others.
Hi, I'm Sara, I am reasonably tidy, friendly and interested in people, however I do need my time to recharge. I am interested in living in a greener suburb. I have a lovely cat and I am currenrtly working as a waitress and a dog minder/walker. I am vegertarian but I could care less what you eat. I respect honesty a good laugh and some real talk here and there and I will be respectful of you and your space :). I would be really interested in starting a new house where we could cultivate a small garden :)
Hi there, Unfortunately I am in the crappy process of being in a now failed relationship and the current house I share with my partner. (Yes, we have all been there. Overall - I am after a fresh start). Ideally, I am aiming to live with someone positive who likes to take care of themselves and their surroundings, overall a good influence on my general headspace. A little about Tim: Full time shift worker within the government sector. This involves hours all over the show from 3am starts and 2 am finishes on a rotational monthly roster, (so not ideal for everyone). I am not into the party scene or any real craziness at home as right now I am heavily career focused and driven, (although I was a little party child in my 20’s as cabin crew, so I have been there too). However, the odd friend or two for dinner is very welcome on my weekends off. I am 34 but generally act like 64 most days .. ;) Huge animal lover of all shapes and sizes, (namely my dogs and horses). I think animal lovers are quality humans ... Due to the nature and odd hours of my work, days off are spent catching up at home getting any housework or weekly prep done, and hopefully some gardening in. If I feel more energised - I’ll take the horse out for a spin or go to the beach for the day, therefore giving you the house for your time. I am a very clean, tidy, and respectful person of the house I call home and the people I live with. I would hope for the same in return. Not a fan of a messy house or people not pulling their own weight or cleaning up after themselves. You use it - clean it. Tim is houseproud, I will have the occasional drink and chat/laugh when I can. Happy to mingle / socialise when time allows. I do enjoy my own time too as this comes from working day in, day out with the public & people. All bills / rent paid on time and with priority. Looking for potentially a room or house with a good human who has a mature and positive outlook on life with a solid mindset of good vibes. Note; My current lease here ends Feb 1st to which we will go our own ways (at this stage). If I don’t get back to you straight away, my apologies. Thanks Tim
Hi there! I'm looking for a place to move into around the Dayboro area and surrounds. I am a shift worker so understanding of this is important to me. I'm happy to socialize on days off but am not a big drinker/ party animal so would prefer a household where this is not the usual every other night. I work in the city but keep horses in the Dayboro area hence wanting to live out this way. I compete my horses so am out there most days. I am a really active person and enjoy gym and hiking so am not usually in the house unless its post a big run of shifts then I'm happy to chill out and binge on netflix series :) I do have a dog so am hoping to find somewhere that will consider pets. He is a Rhodesian Ridgeback x Mastiff and the friendliest/ cuddliest dog you will ever meet. He is an inside dog.. I know I'm limiting my chances here haha. He is completely toilet trained and very polite. Depending on the living situation I am happy to drop him off at my parents place when I have multiple long days at work and/or night shifts. I'm very easy going and would like to find somewhere with relaxed like minded people. So if we sound like we would fit in we look forward to hearing from you :)
Two laid back dudes from Melbourne, we’re currently on a working holiday! Just looking for a place to live while we work for a couple of months in the outer Brisbane area.
I am a full time uni student working part time in retail. I would much rather stay at home and watch Netflix than go out drinking so I would love to have a friendly and relaxed home environment to spend my limited free time in.
hi! im new to qld and am looking to find a quiet and relaxing place to call home. i am a Part time student studying counselling and am working part time in disability care, my favorite things are adventure drives and reading. I am quiet but am easy to get along with.I have much experience in share houses and have enjoyed getting to know many people while we go about our days with a catch up now and then. I have a 4 month old kelpie named Luna and would love to find somewhere where there is a nice backyard and another dog for a buddy when out, also hoping to find somewhere that has alot of greenness:)
Hello Flatmates, I've been living in Brisbane, West End for 3 years now however the busy location i am in has been getting to me of late so i have decided to venture to a more lush and peaceful area. I have a pretty busy schedule working 3 jobs. Part time receptionist, part time barista as well as teaching dance and embodiment to woman on the side. Teaching is where my heart is, i am so passionate about working with woman and inspiring more beauty and creativity in their lives. The job involves a bit of time on the computer writing, doing posts, marketing, organising events, so when i'm at home i like a place i can relax, unwind and write. I also love to sew, listen to music, dance (obvioulsy!) and hang out with friends. I enjoy the markets on Saturdays and going to live music, some festivals every now and then. I like to share meals every so often, meet new people - an advantage of living in a new share house :) Ill be interested in getting to know you and building a friendship however i am TOTALLY respectful of everyones need for space and down time... i need it to! I'm a clean person, i take pride in my living spaces. Cause simply it feels better and i think everyone benefits from less clutter/mess! I'm usually in bed by 10 during the week so NOT interested in a party house. I DO however enjoy pot luck dinners, gatherings, changes to catch up with old or make new friends. I love plants, nature, adventures. Im vegatarian. I cook mostly all my meals. A place with a homey vibe living with people who are considerate of each other, their home and the environment is where i see myself fitting in best. xx
I work full time at a uni. About to start a Masters part time. I love music, bands and nature. Not up for party house would like chilled out home. I am social and outgoing but also need time out and space. I have two lovely cats that are both indoors and outdoors. Ideally I am looking for a space that is entirely mine such as s granny flat with separate entrance and own kitchen or team up with one person for a house ! I have furniture for a small household so looking for a large living space that can accommodate my things.
Hi there! My name is Michael, I'm easy going, I'm very private yet sociable at the same time. I like clean. So I stay clean an even like to clean! I don't drink, don't do drugs. I love my music, reading, movies and exploring life. I'm spiritual but not religious, so I meditate a lot, which is about as weird as I get to some but it keeps me focused. An generally happy to help where I can in the house. I'm looking forward to making some new friends to live with. :)
I'm an easy going bloke who likes to keep my home clean. I work 6 days a week and try to exercise regularly so I usually like to relax on my day off. I'm always up for having a good convo and even a cheeky drink every now and then. I'm ideally looking for a 2 bed, 2 bath unit/townhouse to share with just one other flatmate. Open to the idea of either moving into existing Sharehouse or starting up a new one with someone from this site. I have all my own furniture in storage so can bring as much or as little as needed. Looking to secure a place in the next couple of weeks.
Hello fellow members of flatmatesAUS! My name is Chloe, but my friends calls me "Chloence," I am known for my countless efforts of keeping both my workplace and my home fun and uplifting, i also prefer to keep my place tidy just incase of guests, and force of habit. If you like to keep your bathrooms floordrobe free and have toilets that make your #2 smell like roses too, then hit us up with a message! If you'd like to have a house-mate as a local bartender, or just a human nocturnal friend to sit up late and talk shit with then again swing us a message! Just a cruisy, spastic looking for someone to either team up with -or- move in with, and just to go about our lives as normal and respect each others privacy :)
Hi, my name is Travis, I'm 27, single, gay, super clean, super tidy and super dorky, I'm respectful of personal space but also don't mind hanging out, specially if it involves Netflix and a big box of Cadbury Favourites although wouldnt mind a housemate who I can be friends with at the same time. I'm not a party animal but don't mind going into the city or somewhere nice for a couple drinks on the rare occasion, so I'd like a housemate who is similar in that sense and who has a friendly and easy going personality that's clean and tidy. :) I'm currently working 20 hours a week as a night shift Environmental Services Assistant at the HSNPH in Chermside and I am looking at starting study in IT next year whilst working. Im after a place that has the following, - Pet free - Smoke free - Drug free - Child free - LGBT friendly - Air-conditioning - Non party house - Off street parking - 1 other person maybe 2 max depending on the person/situation - Queen size room with built in (Unfurnished) - Ensuite (Preferable) (Will pay more) - Storage (Preferable) - New or Newish house/townhouse or apartment (preferably) - Super clean, as I am really clean myself so ideally Id like my future housemate to be the same as I work as a cleaner and as you can imagine its not very nice to come home to a messy or smelly house. I do have a few bits and bobs that need to be stored, some I can just chuck in the cupboard and under my bed but I do have a sensor dryer and also a mountain bike which I'd like to keep out of the weather. If you like what you read and feel I'm suitable please done hesitate to message me.
Me and my partner are happy people and we both are easy going and both are studying and completing trades. We are both clean people. We have both recently moved to Brisbane to finish our studies and need somewhere to stay and to also meet some new friends.
Hi, I'm Michael I am a 27year old I.T. and English student in Munich, Germany and I am going to be working at Ferny Grove High School from April until the end of September. I will want to get to know Brisbane and Australia as much as I can during my stay. The things I enjoy range from lazy videogame/Netflix nights to just going on trips around the city/area for the purpose of exploration, and I am always up for a beer and a chat or board games. I also enjoy cooking, a lot and would love to introduce you to some great German foods. I hope to meet and live with new and interesting people that I will miss when I have to go back home in october. It would be great if the room is furnished with at least a bed, because I will move in basically straight from the airport.
Hi I am a very clean and tidy respectful person and I always pay my rent on time. I clean up after myself and I enjoy socializing with people and making new friends. I love to cook and do gardening and having a social drink once in a while. I enjoy and love the company of animals. I am easy going and friendly and down to earth and I take each day as it comes.I prefer to share with one person with animals because I have always adored the playful nature of an animal. I am in Brisbane at the moment but I grew up in Townsville and my heart is in Townsville . If you have a room for me to rent I would be grateful and I am a very honest and trustworthy and genuine nice guy.
Im a 23 year old student currently studying science at QUT. I also work at Kmart casually when I’m not studying. I’m easy-going and friendly. In my spare time I enjoy gaming and tending to my many plants 🌱
My name is Rachael and I'm a 26 year old single female. I work full-time Monday to Friday as an accountant in the city and also study part-time as a distance education uni student, which keeps me busy in my spare time! I have a well-trained 8 year old Pomeranian named Lola who is used to living in rental apartments/townhouses and has lived with other dogs and cats in the past with no problems. I like to keep things neat and tidy and keep to myself mostly (due to studying), however enjoy a chat/wine every now and then! Move date is flexible and am looking for a minimum stay length of approximately six months, but happy to stay longer.
I'm Ash, My partner and I need to find a new place to live ASAP due to unexpected circumstances. We have a cat and a dog who are inside and outside. Our dog is a kelpie x and very quiet, does not bark and very well trained. She is happy to sleep on the couch all day, but will also stay off it if told to. MY DOG IS INDOOR AND OUTDOOR, I have always allowed her to be inside as she pleases, this is a non negotiable requirement for me. My cat is a domestic long haired and very smoochy, he loves to sleep all day. I work night shifts and my partner works for a charity. We don't mind the odd night out, but prefer to stay in with a good book and glass of wine. We would prefer to live in a house that has a good backyard that is well fenced, with clean and tidy people, who like to socialise but also respects each others privacy. We would be happy to pay more if the rent includes all bills. Thanks :)

Hi!! I’m Steph!! I’m currently on the hunt for a place to live in north Brisbane. I’m studying nursing at UQ and I also work in the healthcare industry as a Community Support Worker. I love animals - especially puppies - using too many emojis when I text, and I’m a champion coffee drinker. I spend too much of my free time watching make-up tutorials on youtube, when I really should be making more use of my gym membership... I tend to go with the flow and enjoy a good balance between being social and spending time on my own to recharge. I’ve lived in a sharehouse previously and am looking for 1 or 2 housemates that are easygoing and like to live in a clean and tidy house. On the money side of things, my budget is around $200/week but I can be flexible depending on the property/inclusions. Get in touch if I tick all (or even just one) of your boxes :D
I'm looking for a room in a house share. I work full time in the health industry. I plan to be away for a couple of days during the week for work. Would happily share a house with dogs, would prefer not to have any children living in the house. I enjoy the outdoors and climbing in my spare time. I like to keep communal spaces tidy. I would have a preference for a place with some privacy e.g. separate bathroom or not too many housemates. I'm expecting to move into a place for around 9 months to 1 year.
Hi everyone, Friendly couple in our 30s, moving to Brisbane due to job relocation. I'm a musician and artist. I will most likely be out a lot as I will be putting work first. I like to think I'm bubbly and friendly. I know that I'm neat and tidy and will always help cleaning and cooking. I'm an open person and I feel that open communication is vital.
