A furnished room available in a peaceful house on Bellerive Bluff just across the river from Hobart CBD. It is close to the beach, cafes, gyms, supermarket and restaurants. It's a short walk to the bus stop with a frequent service into town and Utas. Modern renovated bathroom and second toilet/laundry. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable livingroom, outside is a spacious deck with bbq and woodfired pizza oven. Limited offstreet parking but plenty of safe non metered street parking available. The house is 2 storeys with a lovely bay window in the living room. All kitchen items, white goods, 6 seater dining table, couch and tv are already set up. The bedroom is reasonably spacious with big built ins and plenty of room to have a double bed, desk and bookcase in and still be left with plenty of room to walk around. There’s a big built in wardrobe with plenty of clothes hanging space and a long upper shelf for storage. There is a shower/bathtub, a toilet upstairs and downstairs, storage room underneath the staircase, and linen storage upstairs. The house is cosy and has a heater in the living room that heats up the space pretty quickly. It’s a 5min walk to the bus stop and a 5min drive to Eastlands or Lindisfarne Woolworths. The house is pretty close to the water and some nice walking areas. Rent is paid fortnightly at $270, wifi is $40 a month, and electricity is split and paid when the bill comes. Pets will be considered but will have to be approved by the agency.

The apartment is in a fourth floor penthouse in Sackville street Hobart with a large living room & kitchen area and huge wrap around balcony. There's a single large shared bathroom. There are 2 male housemates including me 33 working mostly weekends as a registered nurse & my housemate 35 who is a baker. The room itself is $200. $25 for NBN & electricity are included for a total of $225 per week. I am ultimately seeking another long-term housemate, not just stays of a few weeks or months. We only have one off-street parking space but it can be made available to you if you need to use a car regularly. IF YOU WANT A BIGGER ROOM, the much much bigger main room (also pictured) is a possible option but it would be $280 per week not including the ~$25 for NBN & electricity.

There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The area is safe and there is a secure door to access to the building. For us Battery Point is the best location, close to everything.
