St Gabriel’s is a beautifully renovated church which now consists of 10 furnished studios all with their own bathroom. The rent is $250 per week singles, and $275 per week couples. The rent covers all costs and includes free wi- fi . The property also has a kitchen, laundry, large communal lounge area, and large private courtyard where tenants are allowed to have a cigarette if they wish. The inside of the property is smoke free. Our tenants are mainly long term and are a mix of overseas students to locals who either study or work in the area. The layout allows tenants to have their own privacy , as well as areas where they can also socialise. The property is privately managed with the owner living close by. Upon being accepted , tenants are encouraged to respect fellow tenants and clean up after themselves when using the kitchen. Unsocial behaviour is not acceptable in any form. One bedroom available in well appointed three bedroom house. The house is a 5 minute walk from Hamilton Station and bus stops as well as Beaumont St cafes + shops, and close to the river/marina/Honeysuckle. Also a 15 min walk or very short drive to Aldi. House has one bathroom but additional toilet located off laundry. There's a small spare bedroom/study located at the back of the house and a paved outdoor area out the back with seating, great for small gatherings and bbq's! There is also a large sun room at the front of the house that we don't really use for anything - happy for suggestions once you move in :) Current housemates are 25 and 28 years old, both male, both working full time. We are very laid back and easy to get along with. We aren't neat freaks but we do keep it clean. Sociable, easy going and active (we also enjoy a sneaky beer now and again). Could be the best housemates in Newy! We also have a small cat named Betty. She loves a cuddle. She is Luke's pet, and will be looked after and fed by him.
