The House: Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is super roomy on the inside. Open plan kitchen/living/dining area (with aircon), laundry, spacious deck out the back, garage and one large bathroom. Upstairs has two bedrooms and another smaller living area so we aren’t short on space! The Rooms: Room 1 (AVAILABLE NOW) is upstairs and $155/wk. It’s medium sized and can fit a queen bed, a desk and a set of shelves. At the back of the room you have a little walk in wardrobe - plenty of storage! Room 2 is $165/wk, downstairs and the biggest bedroom with loads of built in storage space. Easily fits a Queen or even a King bed! Both rooms will come unfurnished. The Logistics: - Rent is paid fortnightly (excluding bills). - Internet ($20 each) and electricity paid monthly, water paid quarterly. - You’ll need to provide a bond (4 weeks rent) plus 2 weeks rent in advance. - You will need to be willing to sign a lease. - Pets are allowed pending approval by our Real Estate. A very sweet Cocker Spaniel used to live in the house. I love dogs and cats so would happily welcome either!
Our Carrington cottage has a room available which is perfect for the student or busy worker. As an added bonus, we have really easy going private landlords who help us out around the place, doing any repairs we may need and they mow our lawns. Room is not furnished and a little smaller but think about the money you’ll save each week! I currently fit a queen bed, bedside table, clothes rack and dresser. Room also includes separate study nook overlooking the trees and park. About the house: Quirky, free standing house, fully furnished with plenty of room in the house, courtyard and newly grassed area with barbecue for summer and a shed at the back if you have more furniture! 5 minutes walk to Carrington cafes and pubs, 15 minute drive/20 minute cycle to the beach. Unfortunately no pets. Bills are separate, and split equally. Room may be available earlier if we are accepted for a place sooner.
We have a small room for rent in our modern town house in carrington. It is two stories, a quiet area. Great neighbours. Close to town and the beach. We have a cafe next door, a little grocer, a bakery, bottle shop and post office all in our street! WI-FI is $22 a month We keep our house VERY clean and VERY tidy and we all take turns of doing that! Not Avalible until early March 2019

High ceilings and a whole wall full of built ins. The house is old but it has a lot character. We are fairly energy conscious and have no dryer, air conditioner or dishwasher which keeps the bills nice and cheap. We are also a non smoking household. The house is only a 1 minute walk from Beaumont street and a 4-5 minute walk to the Hamilton train station!
Location is a BIG one here. Hamilton is pretty much where you want to be if you're going to be anywhere in Newy. Peak food, coffee, vintage clothing and funriture offerings are on your doorstep. The best art and music events are always 10 paces or so to your right. Public transport accessibility is stellar although cycling and walking are just as good, if not better in this part of the bush. I haven't taken an uber since living here. Your pockets will thank you for it. On the more subjective side of things, being in a happening spot living alongside people who love to attend the best that Newy has to offer is pretty damn dreamy. If you're a proud Novo, with art and the outdoors in your blood, we're all going to get along just fine.
