The best thing about this house is it's really close to the Coorparoo train station and shops, and right next to the park so really nice trees and not surrounded by neighbours. The park has a basketball hoop, cricket nets and a dog park. If you don't have a car its easily walkable to the supermarket etc. We are looking for people that are easy-going and tidy, we never have any flat drama and everyone gets along great. We really value each other's space and we are considerate with noise etc.

ANNNND WE ARE BACK. Sorry for going AWOL there current roomies decided to stay a few months extra as while they are here on a bridging visa our house is so sick they decided last minute to put off seeing the rest of the country so they could stay. Grand Queenslander on a private leafy block with no neighbours (except for across the road) - we are totally surrounded by parkland and trees! From the stunning leadlights, archways and polished floors to the rich timbers and tasteful eclectic decor throughout this house is THE DREAM. Note this place is in Stones Corner not Coorparoo but Flatmates doesn't like Stones Corner as a suburb! The house is entirely furnished but the room can be either furnished or unfurnished depending on your requirements. Room is large with MASSSSSSIVE built in storage all the way up the 12-foot ceilings so you will be rolling in clothes space. House comes with a bunch of chickens, a Dalmatian, cat, parrot and two goats - all animals are SUPER friendly and new pets are considered if they will get along with the household however we are nearly at pet capacity here! The block is over 1,000 square meters and 34 metre frontage (normal blocks are around 3-400sqm) and as aforementioned all parkland surrounding so if you like nature this is the block for you! Honestly the most beautiful home. It's an old two levelled Queenslander that has been done up, traditional wooden floors and very spacious. Bus Stops: 185/184 to the city and Garden City at the top of st, 10 min walk to Woolworths/Aldi/Coles/DENDY Cinemas/Suhsi/BWS, there are busses every 5 minutes to the city and Carindale also The bathroom is very big, I know theres only 1 bathroom but it has honestly never been an issue or clash in the house with getting ready times. The bath is also awesome. Theres a beautiful veranda upstairs, I know the guys are currently looking for a nice outdoor dining set so we can start having breakfast out there/sit out there but on a chair. You definitely get a nice comforting breeze as well. The house is already furnished, theres couches upstairs and downstairs. Washing machine and dryer. Fridge and other kitchen appliances. The room you will be living in may seem "small" but it's honestly not that small when you start living in it. I have a double bed with a frame set up and a side table and store everything in my cupboard or under my bed in roller drawers and still have a lot of space. You'll have a really good sight of the dogs in our street too. The room is the exact same size as Will and Tai's. Lauren and Josie have the master bedrooms and obviously pay that little bit more. If you smoke or 'smoke', theres a rule to stick to doing downstairs in the yard, theres the classic glass table at every Australian late night party available. Theres also a mini bar area, we don't use it but you're welcome to. Rent due day is Friday, bond is $610, we all split it equally.
A cozy private hideaway house close to the action of Oxford St and 10 mins drive to the city. The kitchen's a great size with gas cooktop and plenty of storage.
