Looking for a new roomie to join on a lease ASAP! The bus stop is across the road, it's a $15 uber to the city and Lyneham, O'Connor and Dickson shops are a 5 minute drive and the ANU and UC are both about a 10-15 minute drive away! It's a relatively quiet and cosy room and unit but we have air conditioning, internet, gas and electricity that we split. The house is furnished but the room isn't - it's available for $195-$205 as I've got the bigger bedroom! I'm a 22 yr old female ANU student studying Gender & Anthropology but am currently deferred and working as a barista at the cafes at the National Library and Botanic Gardens. A sunny room in our home is available for rent from 15 October 2018 for $210 a week (plus bills). We're pretty flexible about how long you stay for (although we will need the room back by May 2019), but are looking for someone to stay for at least 4 weeks. The room and house are fully furnished, all you need to do is to move in! It's on the city end of Ainslie and is a 5 minute cycle to the Canberra Centre and Civic. The room is large, comes with built in robes, has a queen sized bed along with a desk and chair. The house itself has a bright kitchen with all of the essential kitchen appliances (including an ice cream maker), super fast VDSL 2+ internet, and central heating. We would prefer individuals (as there is only 1 shared bathroom) but are not completely against couples.
My housemate is leaving in a couple of weeks so I’m looking for people to take over her part of the lease. The place is in O’Connor and it’s a two bed two bath modern appartment. It’s $550 per week in total. There’s 5 months left on the current lease or the property manager said that we can start a new one for 12months if we want. I will be leaving in September so someone can either replace me or you can continue the lease without me. I keep the place super clean and tidy (especially the shared spaces like the kitchen and lounge room) and love to cook when I have the time.
