Two rooms are available in a modern share house in Watson. The house is on Antill Street near Dickson and the Australian Catholic University. The house comes with internet, gas cooking and heating, air conditioning, fridge, and dishwasher. There are 1-2 undercover car parking spaces, and enough off-street parking for the housemates and guests. Both rooms are unfurnished. One room has built-in cupboards. The other room has a free-standing wardrobe. The rooms share a separate toilet and shower. There's a garden, shed, and covered area out the back, which are great for summer parties and BBQs. There's also a washing line. During winter, monthly bills are: * $55 electricity * $35 gas * $30 internet Gas and electricity are cheaper in summer. The rental is limited to 3 adults by the landlord, so a couple would have to rent both rooms. (Occasional guests are ok.) No pets, no smokers. I'll be showing the house from 18 August onwards. Our home is across the road from Mt Ainslie nature reserve and is a short walk to local shops, quick cycle or reasonable walk to the city and close access to buses. We have a warm and friendly homey home. We have interests in art, environment, politics, movement, self-development and cultural exchange etc. We tend not to watch much tv and would probably not be suitable for someone who is a large watcher. We value direct and thoughtful communication with each other and would expect that from people staying.
