The apartment is a three bedroom fully self-contained apartment taking over the entire lower floor of a Queenslander style home in urban inner city Highgate Hill/Dutton Park. If you're getting to UQ, it's not that far since it's just across the river and around 15minutes by ferry. There's a park adjacent to the unit with a playground / bbq / bus stop; the area is mostly quiet and as we are at the edge of the river, the weather is pretty cool with the wind :) However this unit is in front so unfortunately we are not overlooking the river.

Highgate Hill is in walking distance of Southbank and West End and UQ, just a short uber ride if you were looking for a night out in the city. Public transport is easily accessible. The closest bus stop is a 5 minute walk, where you can catch the 196 bus which takes you around west end and the city and back towards University of Queensland. You could also walk to Southbank train station, which is about a 20 minute walk. The apartment is also located on the top floor of the building, so the view from the balcony is great. The room available is spacious, able to fit a queen bed, a bedside table, a tallboy, and a desk. And you'll still have plenty of space available. The room also comes with a built in wardrobe. You'll also have access to the car garage. Rent is $205 a week, bills (electricity only) and internet are split.
