This apartment is located on Gladstone Rd which is 15 mins by bus (number 196/192) to CBD or Coles/Aldi at Fair Field and less than 10 mins to UQ St Lucia Campus by bus 192. You can also catch bus 198 to Buranda village where you can find the shopping centre and restaurants. One of the best thing of this apartment is its location nearby the bus stop that takes you only 1-2 on walking distance to get to the bus stop. The place has an awesome balcony, which we never really get tired of. The house is fully furnished, so you would only need stuff for the room. Internet, gas and elec are all split evenly. Fans of house plants are preferred. Really nice quiet cul de sac, nice neighbors. Walkable distance to West End, UQ and South Bank but out of the hub bub. Decent back yard and a vege patch which could use some work. Storage space under the house and high enough to catch the summer breezes.
So many great things about this home. The unit faces North so we get a lovely, cooling breeze - not to mention the stunning views across to the city - great for the fireworks. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Large timber deck with Weber for the BBQ fans. Laundry downstairs. I have one bathroom but with only two people living here that does not seem to be a problem. Your bedroom has a double bed, ceiling fan chest of drawers and hanging. I will provide linen, towels and blankets etc. I shall also provide basic essentials like toilet paper and laundry detergent. The property has a large communal area and gardens with fruit trees. Our private courtyard has a small vegie patch that you would be more than welcome to potter in. This property is ideal for University Students as we are so close to both UQ and QUT. The 196 bus at the end of the street takes you into the City, the Valley and New Farm. The 192 up the top of the hill takes you to UQ university. We are 10 minute walk to the South Bank Train Station and the South Bank Precinct. 15 minute walk and you are in the City. Its an easy walk to QUT. West End shops and cafes are an easy 5 minute walk or you can catch the 196 bus and it takes you there. You can walk to the Mater Hospital. 192 to the PA Hospital. There is a public pool just down the hill. I am pretty easy going - I work early evening 5 days a week. I enjoy my space though not adverse to having healthy conversations and sharing the odd meal. We have a room available in our lovely home in Highgate Hill/West End. We are located on the river, just near Paradise Park and only a 10 minute walk to the Vulture/Boundary hub of West End. The area is very quiet and peaceful, the ideal escape from the bustle of West End. The room is bright and airy, has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, built-in wardrobe, and leafy views. The room is unfurnished and comfortably fits a queen-sized bed. The room is carpeted and quiet, when your door is closed you generally won't hear noise from the other rooms or rest of the house. Our home is a 2-storey townhouse, with one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs. It has a warm and open vibe, with the living area opening onto a large deck surrounded by trees. The house is fully furnished, so you will only need to bring your bedroom furniture.
