Hi! If you're looking for a nice warm place to stay in Brisbane, this is a great property. Located in Highgate Hill it's at a walking distance to both UQ (15mins) through Eleanor Schonell Bridge (a great view to enjoy) and busy bohemian West End (10mins). A 20 seconds walk places you in a bus stops that takes you easily to South Bank, CBD or Fortitude Valley and a short 20 mins walk gets to the West End ferry station (which I strongly recommend as the most relaxing, beautiful way of moving around Brisbane). The property is an old Queenslander house, tidy and comfortable, with lots of communal space to chill out with the roomies or any other friends (TV and plenty of couch space), apart from a very nice and sunny grass backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped (plus microwave and oven) and there are two very large fridges, so there is plenty of space! About the laundry, we do have a washing machine and plenty of space in the backyard to hang it The room is fully furnished (bed, study desk, chair, bin, two mirrors, ) and it comes with bedding (changed for clean ones every month) and a fan. It also has a large window facing NW, giving the room plenty of sunlight. Being at the back part of the house it gets very quiet and just next to one of the bathrooms, equipped with a shower. Because it's only three of us at the moment, though it's supposed to be a shared bathroom, everybody gets to have its own one!
Uni Student is preferred but it really doesn't matter. The room is quite big and can fit a Double (maybe Queen) Bed and has room for a desk, there is a door that leads outside but only locks from the inside and we don't have the key for it.
