About the property The house is a very large older style home and you would be sharing a large kitchen, huge dining area and lounge room, big balcony and 1 bathroom with separate toilet, with lovely International housemates from various countries :) All very lovely and friendly :) There is a lovely garden with grassy lawn for relaxing. Please Note! This is not a party house! It is filled with workers and students and we need people to show respect to the other housemates in regard to noise and sharing spaces. The housemates need to clean after themselves always and we will have a cleaner to do the main areas of the house. The house is in an excellent location! 10 mins walk to Southbank, 5 mins to West End, Trains, Buses, Citycat; minutes away! Markets, Coles supermarket, City all within easy walking distance.... The room available has a built in robe, window, high ceilings (like 12 foot or something) and a ceiling fan. The room is not furnished. The house is furnished, however you are welcome to add to it! There are 2 bathrooms but 3 toilets which is super handy. Big kitchen with all the important bits but room for anything you might bring. Dining room, lounge and a gorgeous deck out the front to watch sunrise and sunset.

You will be sharing the house with amazing people, we are all from different countries and we are all here for different reasons, wheter is to study, work and/or travel. We do have regular parties during the weekend, so if you dont like drinking, playing, dancing and singing this is not the proper house for you. During the week we have a relax atmhospere and everyone is really easy to approach. Ideal housemate would be someone who enjoys party, sociable, easy going and who respects others space and belongings. Our house is well located (next to Southbank Bus and Train Station, 7 mins walking from the Southbank beach and 10 mins walking from coles super market in West End). The place is a split-level townhouse, so there's a nice big common area, big entranceway and nice kitchen. Kitchen comes with everything you need so you don't need to bring anything. We can create a little bit of storage space downstairs if required. There's often off-street parking available, but if not on-street parking is fine too. You'd be sharing a bathroom with just Alana (Sara has an ensuite), which has bath/shower. The room has big windows so gets lots of light (also has blinds) and looks out onto trees and garden. The townhouse is in a really quiet location but is just a 5 minute walk to Boundary Street shops in West End, and super close to lots of bus stops that take you to UQ, the city, etc. This is a quiet house where everyone keeps to themselves mostly, and we all clean up after ourselves with rotating roster for cleaning the common areas.

Hi everyone we have a room in a 4 bed house available now till end of July. The room is $130 a week, not including bills and its unfurnished, but selling mattress and chest of drawers $100. We're living in a big house with both floors fully self contained - bathrooms, kitchens and hangout areas. So you never feel like your living with many people, so much so that we stuck a 5th person in the garage and split the rent 5 ways. That's why the room is so cheap.
