The property is located close to bus stops and local convenience shops and a short walk to Southbank Parklands. It’s very close to Southbank TAFE and to Brisbane State High School.
The kitchen and bathroom are small but everything works and the water pressure is good. Housemates who have no issues cleaning up after themselves and contributing to weekly housework are highly regarded and preferred.
Cleanliness in the bathroom and kitchen is important.
There is a back garden and lawn - which is nice. This needs mowing by tenants and is a shared job. I have a lawnmower.
The lounge room is small, I have a tv and often watch the news and Netflix.
There is a sun-room area with a desk and a lounge chair for your use as a study/ work/ chill out space.
Rent is $230/week internet share is $17.50/week and the remainder of $32.50 is to cover gas and power. Generally speaking this works out, where the bills are higher than this I will ask for more and share the details openly.

About the flatmates
Hi, I’m renting a two bedroom unit and need a housemate. I live and work from home so ideally my housemate works away from home and I have regular hours to get on with my things uninterrupted.
There’s a cat here - he’s friendly and lovely and not allowed outside without his leash on - so the windows need to remain closed - except in your bedroom with the door closed. That’s up to you. Leaving your door closed is important.
