You will be in the downstairs section, which has its own kitchen and bathroom which you will be sharing with just one other person (the pictures show only the downstairs area, but you’re welcome to hang out in the upstairs living area as well). We also have an upstairs deck and a large backyard with outdoor seating areas. Our house is in an amazing location— we’re about a 15-minute walk from Southbank and a 10-minute bike ride from UQ St Lucia. There are also a few cafés nearby, including one on Laura Street which is 5 minutes walk from the house. The bedroom is very big and fully furnished with a queen-sized bed, two built-in wardrobes, a bookshelf, couch, a pedestal fan and a small coffee table. I also have a desk in the communal living area which you can use (and if you’re interested in borrowing my bike that’s a possibility too!). We don’t have air-conditioning but being downstairs and not in direct sunlight my room tends to stay quite cool.

There is a clean and large back yard that is good to sit out on and sunbathe, study or read a book in. We have plenty of plates and cutlery to share.
