About the property
Beautiful riverfront home in Highgate Hill with a modern open-plan layout, great appliances, and lovely views over the water. The place is super clean, fully secure, and all rooms are air-conditioned. There’s also a large screened verandah so you can actually enjoy being outside without being eaten alive by bugs.
Location-wise it’s really convenient, easy walk or bike ride to UQ via the Eleanor Schonell Bridge, and close to the PA and Mater hospitals as well as South Bank. Unlimited internet is included.
We’re a friendly, considerate household and get along well with each other and the neighbours. We enjoy the occasional social meal or drink, but it’s definitely not a party house. Non-smokers preferred.
Parking is on-street only, so it suits someone who cycles or doesn’t rely heavily on a car. We’re also slowly building a little Japanese-style garden by the river, which has become a fun shared project.

About the flatmates
You’ll be sharing the house with Sam, Will and Alex.
Sam is from the UK and is a PhD student at UQ who enjoys playing guitar and outdoor sports. Will recently moved from Perth to study a Masters of Clinical Psychology at UQ and is usually out running, studying, playing tennis, at a café, or on the piano. Alex is a full-time engineer working in the CBD who enjoys the gym, video games, and music production. During the week he’s typically home, but he loves the occasional weekend pub visit.
We’re always up for a good chat after work, but we’re also respectful of each other’s space. We would love to find someone to share the house with in a friendly and considerate manner, and even better if we find someone to talk with over the odd dinner or drink!
