The house is only two years old, super close to Griffith uni (stones throw from Mt gravatt campus, 5 min drive if that to Nathan campus), Holland park bus way, gyms, doctors and convenience stores. It's just off nursery road, M3 side of Logan road, and basically on the border of Mt gravatt/Holland park. The room on offer is huge, with private balcony, double sized wardrobe and a study nook. There's also ducted aircon. House is clean and tidy, but there is a Ragdoll cat so you have to be OK with some white hair floating around.
This is a beautiful two storey house. I rent the top floor and the room available for rent is unfurnished with built-in wardrobes. The room is private but you will be sharing a bathroom. There is plenty of space on the top floor including a lounge room, sundeck and an outdoor deck, which gives plenty of room for independence and space. The house is in a great area and is located right next to the Mount Gravatt Lookout and Toohey Forest trials. It makes for easy acess too both griffith university campuses via bus/bike/walk. Coles and woolworths is only a short walk down the road at mt gravatt plaza, the showgrounds offer fruit and veg markets on saturday mornimg and both Garden City and Carindale are very close by. Bus stops are located along Logan Road with the 170's frequently servicing routes into the city. On-street parking available. Photos of the house were taken before I moved in. Looking for someone to share a chill sharehouse within walking distance of Griffith University and frequent public transport. It’s not a party house, but it’s not a boring house. At least we don’t think so. I’m moving to live in a shoebox closer to my various jobs, which means saying goodbye to a really awesome room at an unbeatable price. The house is furnished though I am taking my fridge with me. So there will be one little 200L fridge and a bar freezer between four people until the replacement arrives in 2-3 weeks. We have a big two-car garage, with one car spot free. We use the other side to hang laundry under cover. Plus, there’s plenty of space for storage/bicycles/motorbikes/segways. It’s a quiet street so you can also park outside on the curb. Unfortunately no pets allowed (except for fish and plants). THE ROOM It’s the biggest room in the house, plus it’s actually a renovated space inside the garage which means it’s very private. The downside is that there’s no internal access for upstairs, but I found it more than worth the trade-off for the extra space. The best thing about the room is that it’s actually two rooms! Inside the room is a door to a second half-sized room, which I use as a study. The room is mostly underground, which means it’s very well insulated - compared to the main house upstairs, it’s usually a couple of degrees cooler during summer and a couple of degrees warmer during winter.
