My partner also trains and works long hours, but when he is at home which is usually weekends he likes to sleep and relax. We also have an indoor cat who is allowed outside at certain times, so you must be able to accommodate her schedule if you are at home. She has her own sleeping quarters. YOUR LIVING QUARTERS The house is basically split into two sections (open plan living) so you will have your own privacy. You will have your own bedroom with ceiling fans, a built in wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed... although you are welcome to bring your own bed. There is a bathroom (bath/shower) and toilet adjoining both bedrooms. You will also have your own living area to relax in. The property is located on a large block with beautiful gardens and a large covered entertainment area. A new BBQ and outdoor setting are arriving in a few weeks. Some additional storage can be provided. I have one undercover parking spot available. The other would be on an open driveway, to the side of my house. The property is secure, in a quite cul-de-sac and there are double gates to the back yard, should you need to park inside the property. We have a fully furnished house with a 55" 4k smart tv with netflix and blu-ray player that you're welcome to use whenever you like as well as unlimited top tier NBN. We also have the normal things, like a fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Electricity and gas we will split 4 ways. There is a small outside undercover area with a BBQ that you can entertain friends in but generally we don't use it very much. It's a quiet neighbourhood too most of the time. No dogs barking every night. Neighbours can be a little noisy occasionally. But can only hear them from certain parts of the house. There's a park a minute walk down the road and a service station, bottle-o, pizza, cafe and a gym about a minutes drive away. We are not allowed sub-leasing as per our tenancy agreement. Which means a successful applicant will then need to submit an application form similar to a normal tenancy application form you'd get for a rental in order to be added as an approved occupant. If you are successful with us you will then be offered one of the real estates application forms to fill out so we can submit it to the real estate for approval. It's more so that the real estate know who is living in the house for security reasons rather than for income or anything like that however they do require all the normal things for their bookkeeping such as payslips and ID The room available is currently unfurnished, however we are flexible If you need other furnishings like a table if we do have a king single bed you can borrow for your time here. It’s towards the front of the house just as you enter so you’re a bit seperated from the rest of the house but it is quite a large room with a large walk in robe. It gets a little hot in the summer but has a large window and ceiling fans and we have an aircon in the lounge room. I’ve put down the max stay as 4 months. As I am still awaiting confirmation as to whether my brother will be moving back to Brisbane in order to study. Next year. If he is going to be moving back then he’ll need the room sometime in late February. I would be more than happy to help in finding you a new place when that time comes so the transition is seamless. If he doesn’t end up moving back in February then you’re welcome to stay longer. Just wanted to make sure any applicants are aware of what may happen in the future.
