Hey All, been renovating this place on and off for the past year. *only the 260 p/w room left* Both Rooms are completely new - a full quality rebuild, including all new plaster, dimmable down lighting, blinds, carpet, Floor -EVERYTHING! Both rooms are fully furnished including heater, new linen, towel, coat hangers ect. Bills included in the price, that’s internet - fibre to the node), water, electricity. Due to the fact both rooms are furnished and bills are payed by me, I am more than happy with whatever term you need, whether it be 2 weeks or 6 months or a year - not too fussed as it can very much be a walk in and walk out type deal (I have an electronic door lock so you won't even need a key!). Currently a quiet share house, just me and another fellow - both pretty busy and out of the home a lot. We are not worried about noise, but its very peaceful at the minute. The shared bathroom has not been renovated, it’s not my dream bathroom but it is good. Close to everything (hill street, cafe’s, main bus route) and CBD. There is a lot to like.
In a 1960's double brick set of six , the apartment is located on the second floor of the building. The rooms are bright and airy, as the living areas face north-west. It can get a little hot in summer, but heat pump was recently installed for those days. The available room is located on the east side and gets lovely morning sun, it is also protected from the busyness of New Town road. Most rooms in the apartment have been freshly painted, including the available room. It features built in robes and is generous enough for a queen sized bed. The entire apartment is furnished except for the available room, although a bed can be arranged if necessary. If you have extra things to bring, happy to try and fit them in too. The living and dining are in one space, with the kitchen located in a separate room. The kitchen has a coffee machine and the oven bakes very nice cakes. The bathroom is combined with the laundry, unfortunately there is not dryer or bath though. The rent includes unlimited internet, plus Netflix and Stan if you are into the occasional bad TV binge watching session (I am!)
The house has three bedrooms and the house is fully furnished with sufficient park space, back deck, and huge backyard garden but sadly the room available for rent is semi-furnished. The house is accessible from New Town as well from Brooker Highway. It is close to bus stops, Kmart, Coles and North Hobart strip of restaurants. It is a great solid house with heaps of character and very homely. Clean and tidy too. Share spaces are large and there are two gorgeous sunrooms overlooking the stunning view north to the Derwent and distant mountains. Separate laundry, dunny, lockable underhouse, free garage, garden and org veggie patch. The kitchen is stylish and new with mod cons. Bus stop a few paces away has you in town in 10 mins. Or equally zoomy on a bike. Nice to cycle or walk around the neighbouring Queens Domain and Botanical Gardens too. It's a good lifestyle.
