Literally 3 minutes from Wollstonecraft station, two rooms in my 3 bed 2 bathroom apartment are available from the 23rd of March. You’d be sharing with me and one other person (ad for the other room is online here too). The train station is literally three houses away and takes 15 mins to get to the city or 10 minutes to Chatswood, and we have some great walking tracks nearby, favourites being the little rainforest track near the back of the block and Berry Island. Crows Nest is a 15 minute walk and has heaps of good brunch spots and restaurants. The unfurnished room is cozy but big enough for a queen bed, with a nice big window and leafy outlook facing east-ish. The large unfurnished room has huge built in wardrobes and an ensuite with shower and toilet, with big north-facing windows, easily big enough for a queen or king bed and ideal for a couple or one person. The apartment is light and gets a great cross-breeze in summer, with basically brand new bathrooms and a pretty good sized kitchen with built-in laundry, and is carpeted throughout in a non-smoking building. The lounge/dining room with balcony has views towards the Blue Mountains and great sunsets, sometimes with lorikeet and kookaburra visitors in the morning. There's also a Nespresso machine with free coffee for all, a lockup garage available, and we will hopefully get air-conditioning installed soon. I’ve lived in the apartment for 2 years, and my dear outgoing housemates who are moving to Canberra and the Inner West are taking the loungeroom furniture, so if you have a fridge/dining table/tv/ indoor plants or other homely things that would be super.

This modern apartment is a convenient 5-10 minute walk to public transport (St Leonards Station, buses) and still quiet! Food options and supermarkets in Crows Nest are an easily walkable option, but the kitchen is also reasonably sized and equipped with a gas stove and stainless appliances. The bathroom is uncramped, with a very spacious shower and a bathtub also. I love the tonnes of natural light it gets with high ceilings in the living room, and sunrises from the shared rooftop terrace are a bonus! Ducted reverse-cycle air-conditioning and a storage cage in the garage round out a very convenient and liveable apartment.
