Hi There! We've recently moved to the Lower North Shore suburb of Woolwich. Where is Woolwich? Good question, I had no idea about this suburb until I found this flat! Woolwich is located 11 kilometres north-west of the Sydney CBD. It take 25 minutes to reach Circular Quay via Ferry (amazing views of the Harbour on your way in!) and about 40 minutes via bus. Woolwich has a really nice village-y feel to it, there are a few cafe's and an award winning pub with some of the best views of the city skyline. It's very leafy and has great harbour walks. I'm thinking about getting a paddle board for the summer as there is a boat launch at the bottom of the street! I'm loving this area, after living in Sydney from Bondi to Leichardt, Woolwich is by far the most chilled out and underrated suburb. If you want to feel like your living on an island sanctuary but still close to city this is the place! Bus 343 comes every 20min and takes your straight into the city in 20min (even in traffic) or Chatswood Westfield in 20min! St Leonards train station is a 10min walk away. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and pharmacies in the area and a massive 2-level Woolworths 3min walk away. 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms in total – therefore you’ll have your own bedroom and bathroom. Room includes a queen bed and plenty of wardrobe space as I will empty everything out for you to use. Rent includes all bills, therefore total $700 for the two weeks, payable upon moving in.
