This is a bright airy bedroom located in the quiet suburb of Yeerongpilly. It is in a super convenient location with the train station just around the corner. A 5-minute train ride will take you to the University of Queensland. Southbank and the Brisbane CBD are also a short train ride away. For sport enthusiasts the Pat Rafter Arena and the Gabba are just a stones throw away. Fairfield shopping centre is two train stops away or less than a 5-minute car trip. I've personally enjoyed living here the past 2 years and have found the location excellent, in particular there are many eateries close by. The bedroom itself has great storage space and a ceiling fan.

With Moorooka train station within 3mins walking distance, shops and gyms close by you will be wowed by the location of the property. You also have access to your own bathroom which is directly next to your room for ease of access and privacy. To make it a real bonus, you also have access to use the 'spare' room which will operate as a study/chill-out zone. The house is designed well so that your room isn't right next to any of the others for added privacy and it is also equipped with an attached garage which has some storage space for you available. This is negotiable, if you're not particularly keen on having a study area, we can sort it so that you can take the garage and I can take the spare room- happy to work with you there! Air-con is featured in the downstairs area. In terms of furnishings, I have everything here in the common areas although I'm happy to discuss if you want to bring anything extra along. The apartment is 5 minutes' walk to the shops and bus stop. Buses (110, 115, 116, 117, 124, and 125) run frequently into the city, taking about 30-40 minutes. Travel time to UQ is about the same. Alternatively, the train station (Beenleigh line) is 15 minutes' walk away. The neighbourhood is very diverse with a mix of families, students, and retirees. The room is medium sized with a window, cupboard, and an optional desk. It has a double bed, available to rent to individuals or couples (if more than one person, a charge of $30 per week will be added to cover the electricity use). The flat has two balconies (though one is only accessible via my bedroom), two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, one shared bathroom, and a separated shared laundry as well as a garage. The living room has ample light, a TV, and a sofa-bed large enough to fit most tall people. The kitchen has an electric stove, all usual appliances, and plenty of storage space. The single bathroom is shared, with a shower only. The garage is currently full of excess materials from a renovation, but can easily be made available if off-street parking is required. Group subscriptions to services such as Netflix can be added to the bill upon request. Pets are welcome, though the body corporate must give permission on a case-by-case basis, and the size of the apartment should be considered. Pictures coming soon.

A short 5 minute drive up the road will take you to Fairfield Gardens, 2 minutes away is Yeronga Village, and less than a minute is a collection of fast food restaurants. Pat Rafter Arena is close enough that you're able to walk there in less than 5 minutes (calling all Tennis fans!) If you're after convenience then this is the place for you - if you're not familiar with Yeronga, it's about a 15 minute drive as well to the CBD, 10 minutes to Indro, 20 minutes by Public Transport to UQ and 30 minutes to QUT GP. This is a beautiful neighbourhood. Bills are not included in the rent, but you will be looking at $30/mth for internet and $50/mth approx for electricity
