I have a spare room to rent out in my 2 bedroom clean and spacious townhouse. The room is decent sized with a queen bed and double built-in wardrobe. The bathroom upstairs is shared, but there is a 2nd toilet downstairs also. There is air-con in the living/kitchen area, although downstairs is mostly fairly cool so I don't tend to use it much. It has an open kitchen/lounge/dining. There is also a small space with a lounge upstairs to chill out. It is a great location for public transport, with bus and train within 500m and only a 10-15 minute drive into the city. Woolworths is less than a km away. Electricity/gas/water is included in your rent, and you'll just have to organise your own internet as i have a sweet deal sharing with my neighbor.

I’m looking to share my massive house with someone. It’s in Moorooka 10mins walk from shops, trains, restaurants etc. 15min drive from CBD, But tucked away in a little street. I work from here so It has super fast internet included, it’s ver secure and has public liability so if you want to work from here too you can. The whole of downstairs is empty so you could use that as office space, a work shop, art studio, music studio/jam space.
There are only 6 units in the complex, with brick walls so noise from adjoining properties is minimal. The unit is modest but comfortable and accommodating. Large master bedroom with a good breeze, morning sun, and built-in cupboards (the blow-up bed won't be there, just gives you an idea of the room size - bed is a queen). There are many shops in the local area all within a 10 minute walk including bakeries, late night shops, cafes and a post office. The nearest supermarket (Coles) is a 2 minute train ride away. About the house: The living room has air-conditioning and is very comfortable. There is a TV available and plenty of space to sit down and relax or study. The kitchen is fully equip with a dishwasher and many utensils and cutlery so theres no need for your own. Great location in the inner south side of Brisbane. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. A close walk to Woolworths and the Moorooka shopping precinct. A short walk to bus stops. 5 min drive to a train station. 15-20mins drive to get into West End/City/Valley areas. The room and house are fully furnished (sorry, there's not much space for storage if you have a lot of things). Room is quite spacious with large built ins, ceiling fan, a large window, a desk, a queen bed with plush mattress (just like sleeping on a cloud!) and a bedside table. Main bathroom is large (we would be sharing this). But don't worry... It's a 15-20 minute drive from the CBD and roughly half an hour on a direct bus with a stop literally two streets walk away. If you're a UQ student that hates dealing with parking, the public transport from this location is also friendly, just transfer at the PA and jump on any bus heading toward the campus or walk the Green Bridge - it takes about 30 minutes. We're also incredibly close to a Woolworths (and a dominos for the lazy days) making grocery shopping a breeze.
