Looking for 1 other person to create a cozy home in my 2 bed 2 bath flat. Your bedroom is a spacious 3.6m x 3m plus a built in wardrobe with mirrors, fan, and gets excellent natural light and breezes. Also a nice little view of the city. You also have your own bathroom with shower and bath tub. Street/off-street (concealed visitor but not undercover) parking is available.
The location is brilliant and makes living so convenient with/without a car
- under 3 mins walk to Fairfield train station
- 5 mins walk to Fairfield Garden shopping centre with a massive Coles, ALDI, post office, butcher, gym
- under 10 mins walk to Ipswich road and lots of regular buses
I’ve furnished all the common areas, you only need to furnish the bedroom. We have a dishwasher, washing machine etc. The flat also has a large outdoor balcony surrounded by greenery and is such a nice place to relax. We are a second floor walk up, with an intercom entrance for added security. The street is quiet and peaceful.
Bills are split equally. Internet is $50 a month per person, plus electricity (monthly) and water (quarterly).
About you
I’m looking for a flatmate who is considerate, communicates clearly, and wants to create a peaceful and caring home. I prefer a friendly space where we get to know each other and can share the occasional meal, while of course having our own down time.
I enjoy occasionally hosting groups of friends, and you can host small groups as well with reasonable notice. Not a party home though.
Must be:
- clean and tidy, especially in the kitchen
- willing to communicate and work together to make the flat comfortable for everyone
- not a smoker/vaper
- not full time WFH
- no couples
- reliable source of income so rent is paid on time
Starting with 6 months private rental, and if compatible happy to continue living together.

- I’m a 29 yr old working professional, and typically split my time WFH/office.
- I’m fairly social and energetic, and love getting to know people, but also view the flat as a place to wind-down and recharge.
- My hobbies include watercolour painting, reading, running, going to the local pool for a swim, and pondering if it’s worth the drive to the Gold Coast for a beach day (it’s 50/50 chance I go).
