I’m looking for a friendly, respectful housemate ( sorry , no couples) to share my house in a lovely area of Coorparoo. Looking for a Male or female, non smoker/vaper.
You’d be sharing with one person only — me and a much loved, fairly well trained yet spoilt dog
ABOUT ME
I’m female in my late 50s, pretty relaxed and a bit of a homebody. I’m a Therapist and enjoy my down time. I’m active at the gym most days and at dog sports one or 2 nights a week. I’m outdoorsy, weekends will find me at markets, at country pubs, in the garden, at dog competitions or camping
• I have 2 offices including a home office where i see a handful of clients a couple of days a week. If you also work from home occasionally, it would work but we’d need to talk about the days — this home wouldn’t suit someone working from home five days a week
• Non smoker, occasionally enjoy a social drink , but not a big drinker
I value a calm, respectful home where we both feel comfortable
About the House
The house includes:
• Two bedrooms + one office
• Shared bathroom , 2 toilets, laundry
• Furnished or unfurnished bedroom - currently has a Queen Bed, built in wardrobe Buffet timber unit (note - room is not Airconditioned)
• Easy on-street parking, nice neighbors
• Storage space under the house may be used by agreement
• A comfortable home in a lovely area, walking distance to Bus, parks and coffee shops
A bit more about the home:
• I’ve had housemates over the years, including long-term stays of five years +and some shorter stays as well as some breaks inbetween
• This is not a party house, but it is friendly and relaxed
• The house is fairly small inside, so it’s important we genuinely get along — this is sharing a home, not just renting a room
• Must love dogs 🐾 1 much loved Japanese Spitz lives here, she’ll love you and become your next best friend
• Looking for Single occupant only (no couples)
- Occasional guests are fine, but frequent overnight guests or a constant flow of visitors just wouldn’t suit this home.

• clean your own room
• tidy up after yourself in the kitchen, bathroom, and shared spaces. I’ll do the rest of the cleaning
• Rent is paid regularly and easily(without asking or following up)— I like to keep money things simple
Rent:
• $325 per week. Rent includes all bills and utilities, including internet, Netflix electricity, gas, and monthly lawn mowing — there’s nothing extra to pay
• Paid two weeks in advance
• $500 bond
Open to either a male or female housemate who is employed, reliable, considerate, and happy in a peaceful, chilled home.
