About the property

Come join us in our cozy home!!! 🏡
This old Queenslander maintains its original charm whilst still having renovations to make it more modern. We love our home and hope to be here long-term. The backyard that wraps around the home means lots of room for outdoor activities!
We also have a bus stop right out front the house, making it easy to get to uni/work as it connects to the busway.
Rent price doesn’t include wifi/bills etc but we split everything 3 ways :) Wifi is $31 each per month.
We are offering a bedroom with aircon, a ceiling fan, and a HUGE sliding wardrobe. The bedroom is on the smaller side (good old Queenslanders, lol), but it makes up for it with the natural lighting and amazing storage. It’s big enough for a queen bed and some extra furniture.
We like to keep our home tidy and prefer open communication regarding cleaning tasks. If you’ve left mess in the kitchen or a few dishes, it’s no stress so long as you communicate with us with the intention to clean it. We understand life can be busy.
We are currently using the room as a study, hence the photos not having a bed in it lol.

About the flatmates

We are a long-term wlw couple who enjoy quiet nights in. Our home is a safe space for queer and neurodivergent people, and we take pride in making it feel cozy and homey.

Nat (26, she/they): Nat works full time as a drama studio teacher and is currently studying a bachelor of secondary education at Griffith. She enjoys video games, craft, and baking/cooking.

Alex (30, she/they): Alex works full time as a senior support worker and has just finished her undergrad in Psychology and will be studying their honours next year. She enjoys crime documentaries, reading, and yoga.

Maeve (1, 🐈‍⬛): Maeve is sweet and silly but a little timid. She might need some time warming up to you but once you’re her friend, she will show you her tummy and want to play hide and seek.
