Our beautiful home is as old as it is charming! It's an old Queenslander style house with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms all connected by a long hallway. There is also a spacious lounge room with TV etc, huge kitchen with ample space for everybody to have their own shelves and fridge section.

The house has beautiful high ceilings, stained glass windows and original features. The steps downstairs lead to an open outdoor area with a big beautiful back yard. It is perfect for socialising, reading, relaxing or lounging in the sun on the perfect banana lounge. Plenty of storage space under the house for projects, excess furniture or even setting up a workshop. So much space.

The neighbourhood is beautiful, quiet and peaceful, with the advantage of being able to play music and chat without annoying the friendly neighbours.

10 minutes walk to city, 10 minutes walk to Fortitude Valley nightclub precinct, 10 minute walk to James street with beautiful restaurants, cocktail lounges and high end shopping. We are also a mere 2 minutes walk away from Story bridge and Howard Smith Wharves (where Brisbane's largest run club - Felon's Run Club takes off every Wednesday evening). Access to bus stops that go to the city and to West End directly. Fortitude Valley train station is also just a 15 minute walk away.

We are looking for someone to fill one of the smaller rooms in the house (Room 5). The room is partially furnished with a bed and clothes rack although these can be removed if you prefer. Rent is $235 inclusive of bills (power, gas, and internet).
