New Farm, Brisbane

Hi! A bit of history about us: we’re an established sharehouse that came together through a mix of good timing, gentle nudges, and a bit of luck. Along the way, we’ve built some genuinely beautiful friendships. Since settling into New Farm, we’ve put a lot of care into creating a home that feels intentional, welcoming, and somewhere you actually want to spend time.

The location is honestly unbeatable. We’re big fans of the CityCat, which is just a short stroll down the street, and it’s one of the best ways to soak up Brisbane and the river. Living here really encourages you to slow down and enjoy the neighbourhood.

A little about us: Anabel is 24, Declan is 23, and Georgia is 30. We’re all at slightly different stages of life, but the mix just works. We love to have fun (especially a night out), but we also have full lives, jobs, and responsibilities, so the house has a good balance of social energy and calm. We’ve all moved to Brisbane from elsewhere (or returned from a stint away), so we know what it’s like to build a new circle and find your people.

We’re also big fans of doing sweet, wholesome New Farm things together like grabbing Chargrill Charlies, wandering through the park, catching the CityCat just because it’s pretty, or finding a cute spot for a drink or coffee. It’s a lovely area to share with people who appreciate the little things. We all intend to be here long-term.

We’re a pretty low stress household. The place isn’t spotless 24/7, and sometimes life happens, but everyone is genuinely considerate, respectful, and quick to pitch in. It’s the kind of home where people look out for each other, communicate well, and keep things feeling easy. It's always clean enough to have guests pop around.

We’re now looking to fill our fourth bedroom. We’ve each had our tricky housemate experiences in the past, so we’re taking our time to find the right fit. We’re open minded about who that might be. We just want someone friendly, considerate, up for a laugh, and keen to contribute to a home rather than just a place to crash.
