New Farm, Brisbane

Hi everyone! We’re Mia (25) and Harrison (28), a couple looking for a housemate to move in as soon as possible.

We’ve been living in this apartment for the past two years and absolutely adore both the area and our home. We live on the top floor of a beautiful, well-maintained apartment block in New Farm, overlooking the Powerhouse. The apartment features a generous kitchen (including a wine fridge), solid living area with hardwood timber floors, carpeted bedrooms, and a good-sized balcony with great views. New Farm Park is at the end of the cul-de-sac, and the Powerhouse is only a two-block walk away.

What’s on offer is a medium-sized bedroom that comfortably fits a king-sized bed and two bedside tables. The room has a large wardrobe and a window that lets in plenty of natural light. You’ll also have use of the main bathroom, which includes the shared laundry. We’ll be in and out occasionally to do washing — the laundry is well set up with a washing machine, dryer, and sink unit.

A bit about us: Mia works Monday to Friday and is generally out of the house between 7:30am–5pm. Harrison is a uni student who is often studying on campus during semester or working during breaks. We enjoy cooking, spending time by the pool, having a laugh, and finding new shows to watch. As a couple, we’re very mindful of shared spaces and value privacy, clear communication, and mutual respect — you’ll always feel like it’s your home too.

This room would suit a FIFO worker or someone who works away from home from time to time. Rent is paid on the 15th of each month and includes internet. Electricity and water bills are paid quarterly.
