About the property

Local sharehouse

3 people TOTAL in the house. Theres 4.5 bedrooms in total. I have the master with an ensuite, Jamie has a bedroom plus another room for a study, there the large available room (for you) and a spare room with a balcony that is free to use and will be a spare room for guests to stay ☺️ Its a very spacious house

Local clean share house living with myself in a rental through a real estate with one other clean professional male. Creating a great fun and friendly atmosphere. Ideally wanting long-term tenants 😊

Couples, LGBT, friendly. No other dogs as there is a Scottish Terrier in the house already - he is very quiet, sweet, hypoallergenic and doesn't shed fur! A cat on request - outdoor only

Myall St, Norman Park is a stunning gem and only 150m from the train station!

Room 3 - 3.7m x 3m - $320 + bills (approx $10/wk)
Large room and on the corner with plenty of light

Sharing the bathroom only with one other

Furnished rooms - Bed with gas lift so plenty of storage underneath, wardrobe, side table, fan and aircon included. ALL rooms have locks on the doors for privacy and security

There's 3 newly renovated bathrooms (one with a spearate toilet), and a bath tub for the housemates to share. I have my own ensuite

The office will be used as a communal area with its own balcony and spare room for friends to stay - yoga space, table and chair on the balcony 🤗

Theres ducted aircon on the top level of the house, and a split aircon system downstairs

The house is furnished in a modern, artistic, minimalist style, all in black and timber theme. I like an uncluttered home and used as a communal space only so people are to keep their stuff in their rooms to be respectful of others

All modern appliances included - huge oven, gas cooktop, air fryer, coffee machine and grinder, slow cooker, nice pots and pans, etc. I have a large fridge, PLUS a bar fridge and bar freezer for extras 😊 A fantastic washing machine already here also.

I have a pool table that I am setting up for a hang out space on the garage and we will also be setting up a jacuzzi in the coming months as well 😃

I want a really connected house crew who enjoy some socializing here and there, having a beer/ wine, share dinners, a pub feed movie nights, board game night... but in a very balanced way and we all need to have our chill time too, especially through the week! This is not a party house by an means, nor do we have to be best friends, but at the same time... but not a boring house with super introverted people that stay in their room 24/7 and only creep around when everyone has gone to bed 🫣 I have lived with them... its weird 🤯😅

I just want to bring good -hearted people together and share some beautiful times in this house. And welcome to bring friends over for dinners, I would love to meet more awesome people in Brisy

✅ Must be CLEAN – this is non-negotiable. If you do not wash your dishes after you eat or contribute to cleaning, please do not apply. Must be respectful of shared spaces, and happy to do your part.
✅ Must help with the mowing and gardening. Again, a non-negotiable or you can pay a professional to do your part. Its only a 400m2 block, so very manageable
✅ Social but balanced – have a nice quick friendly chat, the occasional dinner and drinks, glass of wine, event together, but also respect each other’s down time
✅ Mature vibe – ideally someone in their late 20s, 30s or early 40's, who are easygoing, drama-free, and reliable
✅ MUST be finically stable with a secure income
✅ Bonus (examples only) if you are health conscious, or into gym, sport, hiking, rock climbing, surfing, 4x4ing, artistic, cooking, gardening, carpentry, interior design, photography, pottery, goal focused, IT, entrepreneurship, investing, crypto, real estate or anything of the sort! Just examples. (NOTE: Not essential. It's just great for conversation)
✅ Bonus, if are just a nice human being! You do not need the above. It is also nice just to have a lovely friendly person in the house if you are just a chill person! ☺️

Located in Norman Park. Theres some nice cafes and parks near by. The train station is conveniently 150m away - 10 mins to Southbank, 12mins to South Brisbane and West End

Bills will be split evenly... but usage needs to be even and not one taking the piss. We have solar panels to bring down the cost! 😊

NBN and Electricity should be about $10 - $15/wk, depending on usage.

It would be great to have fortnightly quick meetings/check-ins to have an open discussion for anything of the sort just so we are all on the same page and resolve any small issues before they become big issues

PLEASE ANSWER AND ADDRESS THE POINTS I HAVE MADE. Too many people are wasting my time and asking me to interview them when I have already listed what I am looking for in a housemate here. Please give EXACT dates if known, not just 'March'. Please read it carefully and thank you for understanding :)

This is NOT a house the owner put in randoms just to fill the rooms and make money. I am a local renter and finding flatmates I genuinely want to live with and want the other housemates to also be able to connect with everyone. A happy house 😊

I look forward to hearing from you and hope to create a fun and beautiful home together 🤗

About the flatmates

I am 37, no kids, down-to-earth, social and outdoorsy. I enjoy a glass of wine, chats and dinners but also enjoy my own space. With my current housemates, we will pop down to a pub for a feed, BBQ down near the waterfront, walking or the occasional road trip to do a hike. I have really enjoyed having a connection with housemates. We aren't together all the time, but nice to have that friends space at home and what I am hoping to create again.

I work in construction since covid, and I leave the house at 5am and not back till the early evening (sometimes earlier depending on the shift), so am out of the house most of the day. I am going to be going into WHS (more of an office position) this year. I was previously a tour guide and a deckhand on super yachts. I love road trips and going hiking, chasing waterfalls camping, 4x4ing, motorbike riding, bike riding and kayaking. I love fun events, gigs and going out for dinner and drinks

I am super chill with noise and I am super respectful when I am up early and leaving the house

I looovvvee entrepreneurship and have a bachelor of Business, but have never used it 🫣 I am focusing on investing now instead 🤓

Jamie is the only other housemate. He is part of the LGBT community and is absolutely lovely, a great conversationalist and makes some incredible food to share! He equally loves social time but then having down time also. He comes with a dog, Mac, who is a Scottish Terrier and the most lovely and calm dog. He is also hypo-allergenic and doesn't shed fur for anyone with allergies
