Friendly, Easy-going Household Seeks a Third Flatmate

Hey there! We’re Sarah and Courtney, two laid-back professionals in our mid-20s who are looking for a friendly, respectful, and tidy new flatmate to join our home. If you’re sociable but also value your own space and want a comfortable place to call home, we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Wavell Heights, close to public transport, grocery stores, cafes, and parks.
Rent: $350 per week (water and internet bill included – electricity not included). A bond of $725 will also be required.

Room: A bright, comfortable room that easily fits a double and queen bed. It comes unfurnished but includes large double door wardrobe (hanging and shelf space). Room also has a ceiling fan and screen on window.

Common Areas: We have a cozy living room (perfect for movie nights), a fully equipped kitchen, and a clean bathroom shared with Courtney. There’s also an outdoor living space, and large garden.

Introductions:

I’m Sarah, a professional in Tertiary Education. When I’m not working, I love walking, reading and watching films. I also play hockey on the weekends. I’m very easy-going and always up for a debrief after a hard day or a walk to a local café. I also have a gorgeous 13-year-old cat called Gizmo who lives solely in my room (but is always looking for extra pats).

I'm Courtney, a Registered Music Therapist currently working in paediatrics and geriatrics. I love staying active, going for walks and spending time with good people. I also enjoy my quiet time and a good book. I own a young Australian Shepherd called Delilah who is both an inside and outside dog (but not upstairs). She’s very affectionate and loves to be around people.

In general, we’re both tidy but not over-the-top. We respect each other’s routines and appreciate a positive, open vibe around the house.

What We’re Looking For:

Personality: Easy-going, communicative, and respectful of shared spaces. We’d love someone we can occasionally hang out with (think: Netflix binge, board games, or sharing a meal) but who also enjoys their own time.

Lifestyle: We appreciate anyone who’s reliable with rent and bills, as well as considerate in a shared living situation. Whether you’re a student or a fellow professional, you’re welcome here!
Cleanliness: We don’t keep the place spotless 24/7, but basic cleanliness and contributing to shared chores is a must.

Extras:

Internet: High-speed Wi-Fi is available for work, study, or Netflix marathons.

Bills: Internet and Water are included in the rent apart from electricity. Electricity will be split equally among all flatmates each quarter.

Parking: On-street parking on quiet suburban street.

Pets: Courts has a 10-month-old Aussie Shepherd called Delilah that’s an indoor and outdoor dog, and Sarah has an 13 year old fluffy black cat called Gizmo that just resides in her room.

Oh and also...You’ll be part of a genuinely friendly household. We’re not looking for a ghost; we enjoy each other’s company (while respecting boundaries).

The neighborhood has it all—great cafés, restaurants, and convenient public transport, as well as a large Westfield shopping centre just 10 minutes down the road.

We’re big believers in creating a relaxed space where everyone feels at home.
