The house will be part-furnished; we already have some things such as a TV, couch, and washing machine, but we’ll be gradually adding things like a fridge and dining table. There’s lots of space to make the place feel like home together, so happy to include any furniture you’d like to bring.

- About a 10-minute walk to the train station
- Easy access to the Gabba precinct and transport
We get the keys on the 23rd of Feb, so the room is available any time from then!

Evie (29) — I’m a social worker who moved up from Melbourne last year for sunnier skies and more expensive rent. Love me a deep-dive podcast serial, a weekend drive with a hike, or trying a new restaurant or cafe (big foodie). Always down for a post-work vent sesh or checking out a new event or area around Brissie.
Yazzie (33) — Yazzie’s a primary school teacher who grew up on the Gold Coast. She’s spent a bunch of time travelling (lots of ski seasons) and is usually thinking about her next trip. She’s always keen for a night out, a run, or a morning coffee.
We’ve loved living together over the past year and are looking for someone to slide into our dynamic and bring a lovely new vibe to the home. We’re friendly, easygoing, and enjoy a relaxed but social vibe - chats in the kitchen, wine nights, a reality TV binge, and Saturday market trips, while still respecting everyone’s space and downtime. We’re also always up for a night out and a boogie when the mood strikes
We both work full-time, so the house is pretty cruisey during the week and social in the evenings or weekends.
Yazzie also have two very friendly dachshunds, Zephyr and Oakley, so being a dog person is a must
ABOUT YOU
We’d love someone friendly, tidy, and keen to be part of the household - not just a room. Someone who’s up for a hang and wants a warm, comfortable home environment.
