Our current housemate (Luu) is sadly moving out, and we're keen to find someone to take her place on the lease! We are looking for someone to move in on 14 March and stay until at least the end of the current lease (27 Jan 2027). Weekly rent would be $330/wk (single), or $380/wk (couple, subject to landlord approval).
The room you would be moving into (unfurnished) is very spacious and would easily fit a double+ bed, bedside tables and desk, has a walk in robe (with too much storage for one person!) and a his/hers ensuite bathroom.
The house was brand new when we moved in in 2022, and has great amenities including a beautiful kitchen, big living spaces, lots of natural light, ducted heating/cooling, a low maintenance outdoor area, and is fully furnished with all the bits and bobs you could need. The house is ideally located within walking/riding distance of Narrabundah/Kingston/Manuka shops (including Coles), the Fyshwick markets and the parliamentary triangle precinct. It also has a bus stop nearby that will take you wherever you need to go in Canberra.

You would be moving in with an friendly group of girls in their mid-late 20s, including Lizzy (she/her) who's a PhD cancer biology student, Maddy (she/her) who's a geologist and Imogen (she/her) who is a public servant.
In our spare time, we like getting together for a Sunday housemate dinner and the occasional watch party for new release tv series or sports matches that spike everyone's interest. We like doing different activities together, like bouldering, board games nights, and the odd beach/camping trip. We are also very respectful of each other's alone time, and give each other space when needed.
