About the property

Our home is well planned with the master bedroom/ensuite at one end of the house. The two other bedrooms and main bathroom are also very private and are in their own wing.
We have ducted gas heating and evaporative cooling.
We have a serene and peaceful garden with many outdoor areas to entertain, including two BBQs, or sit and contemplate.
Our home is close to the ANU; O'Connor, Lyneham, Dickson and Civic shops; light rail; and Black Mountain and O'Connor Ridge.
We are also close to the University of Canberra though O'Connor Ridge. There are many walking and cycle paths.
We have a happy and supportove home where we also mind our own business and respect each other's private space and life.
I can provide references from former housemates.
Our home faces North and is well insulated.
We have a large solar system on our roof and a battery, which means there are virtually no electricity charges.

About the flatmates

I have been sharing my home for 15 or so years so I am very experienced. I have remained friends with all my former housemates and regularly catch up with the Canberra-based ones.
I'm respectful and understand privacy and appropriate boundaries.
I work as a contractor and travel overseas and interstate regularly. I recently purchased a motorhome for my Australian travels as I can work from my motorhome.
I am fit and socially active with numerous interests. I enjoy bushwalking, reading, theatre, movies and interstate and overseas travel.
I enjoy learning about new countries and cultures.
