O'Connor, Canberra

One unfurnished room have opened up in our part of O’Connor for moving in from 13 September 2025 onwards (but can be flexible).

5 Star location:
- 5 minute walk to the Macarthur light rail station
- 10 minute walk to the O’Connor Shops/Duxton/the RUC
- 20 minute walk/10 minute cycle to ANU/Civic/Dickson

This is a long term sharehouse hence fully furnished and relatively cheap for the area (Thanks rent caps!)

It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, central heating, a kitchen with ample storage, large living room with full TV set up and surround sound (although this needs some fixing), laundry area, clothes line, and a nice veranda and deck to host BBQs and hang out in the sun. The house meets minimum energy efficiency standards

If you’re a green thumb, there is a garden area with composting bins ready to go. It’s currently a work in progress so any help in this regard is appreciated.

There is street (2P which is never checked and all day at the end of the street) and verge parking available.

Bills and internet are separate but I am always out seeking discounts to keep them low (currently utilities have a discount of approx. 32%).

Traditionally the house has had a 2/2 gender split with each gender having their own toilet/bathroom and we would be looking to maintain that balance with a male but open to either gender.

We would love someone who enjoys a semi-regular once a month-ish house dinner.

As a working household, things wind down around 10 pm and we usually wake up quite early to start. We would really appreciate if the new tenant shared this as well:)
