Ascot Vale, Melbourne

We currently have one room in our share-house available. The rent is $350 for the master bedroom. We would prefer a single person to move in, but can negotiate a couple. Bond is 2 weeks rent and we require you to sign a housemates agreement.

It is a large room with large built in wardrobes. It also has an inbuilt remote controlled fan/light. The room can come furnished with a queen bed and side table, or unfurnished, and the rest of the house is furnished. The common spaces in the house are cleaned by professional cleaners every two weeks. You will be sharing the main bathroom with one or two other housemates. Common cleaning products are provided (will need to buy your own laundry liquid).

It's close to the city (15-20 minute drive depending on traffic), a bus stop around the corner that connects to both Ascot Vale and Footscray stations, and a tram (57) just down the road (30-35 minutes to Flinders Street Station including walking). We are also walking distance to the Melbourne Showgrounds, Coles, Highpoint Shopping Centre, and Union Road. There is a gym (Ascot Vale Leisure Centre) close by, lots of parks, the Ascot Vale golf course and the Maribyrnong River and bike trail.

We are open to people of any background, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. The only thing we require is people who know how to clean up after themselves without being asked and who enjoy living in a clean shared space.
