About the flatmates
Looking for someone to fill the last room in our 3-bedroom apartment, available on the 16th of February 2026 🙂
It is right near the heart of Essendon.
10-minutes' walk to the train station (Craigieburn line), and 8-minutes' walk to the nearest tram stop (59).
Access to awesome cafe's, restaurants, and all that you could need or want ☺️
Rent is just $175 a week paid monthly at $753.24 per calendar month.
You'd be going on the lease, and the bond amount is $753.24 (one month's rent).
Bills and internet are shared amongst the tenants and are reasonably priced.
The house has a very homely vibe, and you'd be living with two tenants - one 27 and the other 29-years-old who both enjoy board games, film nights and cooking. We love a yap when passing by!
The flat has all of the essential utilities like a washing machine and dryer as well as washing line, fridge, freezer, air fryer, microwave, oven, TV etc.
We are looking for a housemate who is mid-to-late twenties, ideally or a young professional who wants to avoid the party-oriented share-houses and is looking for a place that is more of a chill environment.
The main thing we care about at the house is being respectful and trustworthy. Simple things like helping with chores and cleaning, not being too noisy during weeknights and letting the rest of your housemates know if you will be having a group gathering at the house ahead of time are some of the expectations we have from each other 🏡
A bit about the housemates:
- Caolan (M) is an Irish musician and graphic designer by trade and is currently working at a cafe in Essendon. Hobbies include busking in town or recording music in his room as well as gaming, going out drinking and writing fiction. Very easy going.
- Teaghan (F) is an Aussie from regional Vic and is a soon-to-be graduate RN who loves decorating the place and enjoys spending time with friends, outdoors, or at the gym.
The room:
Quaint 3.0 x 3.4, has a nice big window and comes with a set of drawers (in the image). The room's carpet will be steam cleaned and fresh for when you move in 🏡
