Hello People Of The World! Let's start off by saying this is a GREAT place in Kew. The room is quite large and your room has a ton of closet space. The kitchen is also quite spacious and has room if you'd like to bring along some stuff, but is already fully stocked. The living room is again quite large and also fully furnished with a big dining room table, couch's and we have a huge projector screen to plug devices into. The balcony faces West for an amazing sunset and enough room for 4-5 people comfortably. There is a washer and drier just for our unit located downstairs. There is an air con/heating unit in the living room.

The location is right on an intersection that is kitty corner to a 24/7 Woolies Metro and a 2min walk from a number of shops and restaurants including a great Thai place, Burger joint, bakery, small grocery store, wine shop, pharmacy, dentist and 2 of the top breakfast places in Melbourne. The 302/304 is an express bus takes only 20min to get into the city, the 200/207 goes straight into collingwood/fitzroy, and the tram is about a 15min walk away. The Yarra trail is literally our front yard, and out the front door. Also, the Darebin Creek Trail is a 5-10min walk with access to the Yarra River and surrounding Billabong's. We live on a quiet street off the Chandler Hwy and so parking is never an issue. I have never had to park more then 3-4 car lengths from the front door, but there are also 3 undercover parking spots on a first come first serve basis. We also have a shared vege garden with our beautiful neighbours down stairs and the neighbours all round are lovely in general.

My name is Craig and I consider myself to be a kind, friendly and considerate human who is passionate about life and all the things it has to offer us here. I work as a tradesperson locally and get to ride my bike to and from work everyday. I love to get out and about meeting new people and experiencing new places and things. I'm also very dedicated to my friends and family and love to spend time at home and in the garden. I'm planning on living here for another year until heading off on a trip around Australia by bicycle with a dog.
I'm looking for 2 new people to share my home with in Kew. I would like to share with clean, kind, considerate people who are also passionate about life and all there is to experience here.
My previous housemates and I have become very good friends over the past few years, but are conscious of personal space and boundaries. We want someone who isn't going to treat the place like a hotel, but wants to be part of the household and contribute to the house dynamic. A textbook homebody who lives in their room probably won't work here. Ideally we're after a sociable younger professional who has some life experience living in share houses, and know's how to communicate and enjoys interacting with others and going out. We would like someone who has experience living in share houses and thus understands how to be respectful of others and do their share of the house work. I like to go out and party sometimes, but rarely have them here. Sometimes we will have mates stay as there is an extra mattress available to throw down in the living room.
