About the property
Welcome to our home in Preston! This is about as good as gets for Melbourne living!
The room: The room features high spacious ceilings, good natural light, built in wardrobe and storage space. Also, it has good heating and cooling systems. It comfortably fits all the furniture you need to set up your own space. It really is a great room.
The house: The place shines in its location right next to Preston train station (2 mins walk). This means you will have quick and easy public transport into the city.
We are also a short walk to the glorious Preston markets. These markets are filled with a variety of international cuisines and fosters a real community life. My highlight of the week is walking there on a Saturday morning, grabbing a coffee, and trying some new food from the market. In addition, High St is just around the corner and is filled with restaurants, bars, cinemas and op-shops.
The house comes with a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of space to cook in. There are high ceilings everywhere which make the house feel open and airy. There is a storage shed in the back of the property which is pretty full at the moment, but with a bit of work and rearranging we would be able to accomodate extra bits and bobs that you might have.
Overall, a fantastic room in a fantastic location. I'll be sad to leave this place as I head back to Brisbane for work.

We have a relaxed, friendly and comfortable environment here in Preston!
You will be living with:
Kathleen: Kathleen has been living at the house for a couple years now and knows the most lore about the house! She is currently pursuing her goal of becoming a mid-wife. Outside of work and study, she is an avid movie enjoyer, likes going to the gym and enjoys hanging out with friends and family.
Bronwyn: Bronwyn is a cheery presence around the house! Her interests range widely and are reflected in the range of jobs she has worked: everything from dance instructing to human rights advocacy! She is the owner and takes great care of our wonderful house cat Tilly. She is often out exploring the diverse shops and markets of Preston, reading, writing or hanging out with friends and family!
Ant: Ant is the latest addition to the house, hailing from a small town in New Zealand. Ant has recently started work as an engineer here in Melbourne. Outside of work, he enjoys various physical activities (biking, pilates and others). He also enjoys getting out into nature and hiking!
