Excluding me, there's currently 2 flatmates - a (62yo (F) &29yo (M) working holiday visa) in 2 separate rooms. The 29yo male will move out early Jan 2026. Both very responsible, clean, tidy. They are out most the time and never had issue with shared bathroom usage. Minimum stay is preferably at least 2 months.

Cooking is allowed but just clean up as all good flatmates do. The plenty common areas around the house are free to use.
Knox shopping Centre is only 4 minutes drive, 12 minutes bike ride or 30 minutes leisurely walk via a walking/bike trail. Glen Waverly station and shopping centre is about 12 minutes drive. Otherwise there are buses to Eastland, Glen Waverley, Knox etc. Walking distance to shops along High Street and Waverley Christian College.
Sorry, no cats, I'm allergic. Other pets, maybe, that can be discussed. House may possibly not be suited for those with walking difficulties as it is double level and there is a flight of 7 steps to the ground level. STRICTLY no smokers, including Vaping, and also if you have drinking or drugs issue.
Reasonable use of electricity, water, gas and 100mbps nbn internet are all INCLUDED in the weekly rent so fortnightly payment is easy to compute. For the right profile tenant, terms are negotiable.

I'm a 65 yo widower landlord who is friendly, kind, helpful and sociable. All my adult kids have moved out and I like the house to have some life. My partner stays over occasionally, we occupy the master en-suite bedroom and use one adjacent room as my study. I'm an ex-professional/charter engineer. I'm pretty easy going and chat and get along well with most people of all ages.
I am also very respectful of your need for privacy and space. Hope we can get along well, have the occasional chat and interaction, but if you rather prefer privacy, that's fine too.
House mates can be either sexes, singles or partnered. For a couple, there is one room with a Queen bed and study desk.
Strictly no smoking, drugs or cats (I'm allergic). Other pets, maybe. No party animal, you must not be noisy and be considerate towards other house mates. Prefers students, retirees, or those working part or full time. My partner's female preference is for females, but males who present as clean, respectful, able to "click well" with me will be considered.
