About the property

Late 70's townhouse style, attached to a block of a few identical properties on High Street, Windsor. A tram stop sits directly out the front of the block, with a 5 minute walk to Chapel Street, and about 8-10 minutes on foot to either Windsor or Prahran train station (both of which run along the Sandringham line - less than 10 mins into the CBD). There is a parking space for the property out the back, which is uncovered/unsecured, but tucked away out of sight of the main road.

The property has two levels. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one a good size with balcony, wardrobe and sliding door to shower/bathroom (this can be locked internally to make it private). The other room is smaller, could be considered a study/office but is big enough to live in as well. There is a smaller balcony attached to this room.

At ground level there is a living area, storage space under the stairs, a small laundry/powder room (i.e. toilet/sink), then a kitchen which leads on to a courtyard area. And that's it, check the photos to get an idea of how it looks. It's an older style place, but it's still in pretty decent condition and has a nice amount of space for the price. The location is superb too.

The room on offer is the larger bedroom (which includes full use of the private bathroom/shower). I'd be keeping the smaller room as a storage space and occasional office/work use. For those interested, get in touch and I can provide more information.

About the flatmates

I'm a late-30's male, originally from Melbourne and have spent most of my adult life in the general inner-south east area, in a mix of partnered/shared/solo living.

I have lived at this property since January 2021. During that time I have shared the place with a partner, and also subleased a bedroom out to a friend for a year. At the moment, I am currently the only one on the main lease, which is running for another 12 months (renewing Feb 2027).

Due to some recent full-time family commitments I am not spending a whole lot of time at the property, and it's looking a bit empty. And with rents only going one way (up), now seems like a good time to sublease it out for a little while.
