About the flatmates
Looking for a new flatmate to take over the lease with me (current lease is expiring in mid March 2026 and my lovely current flatmate is moving away from Coogee).
You would be living with me and my cat Sandy, who is very sweet, well behaved and quiet. I am 37 and work in political advocacy.
You are welcome to keep Sandy out of your room if you prefer.
What is important to know:
• Must be LGBTQIA+ friendly and respectful
• Like to keep the place clean, with cleaning as we go in the kitchen, no dishes left unwashed, and a weekly cleaning roster (taking turns to clean, so each twice a month). There is a dishwasher but it isn’t the best!
• Shoes off house in to keep the carpets clean
• House is furnished but bedroom is not
• No smoking in the house
• I work 9-5 M-F and generally have quiet time in the house after 10pm on worknights.
• I work from home twice a week and there is space for you to work from home at the desk too.
• I don’t drink alcohol or do drugs, don’t mind if you do but don’t to be in a boozy house with lots of drinking
• I spend a lot of time in the ocean, do cycling and scuba diving and love musicals
• My girlfriend generally stays over a few nights at the weekend.
