FYI I’lI will be working full-time in the Office 4-days a week in Geelong / WFH during the pandemic in Melbourne kind of ruined it for me! I’m currently single so there’s no future couple scenario on the horizon. I go for Walks/Runs during my lunch breaks most days, and I workout at the Gym most evenings after work! I’m always down for a Movie Sesh, Drinks, Kick of the Footy, Soccer, Surfing, Going out to Pubs/Bars, Cinemas, Exploring and Attending Cool Events – although at times I do spend a lot of time Designing / Editing at home when I’m on deadline with work! Generally, I’m looking for people to live and enjoy life with in-between working hard and striving to become a better person. My name is Mel, I'm a teacher who loves backpacking, art, books, music and nature. I started writing a book in lockdown which is a belated journal of my experiences travelling around the world fused with my formative years, so I can disappear into a painting/writing bubble on occasion. Ideally I would love a home with a garden as being outdoors makes me feel more relaxed. I love markets, visiting opshops, going to the cinema to watch old movies or classics and am a bit of a bookclub nerd. I've started Roller-skating again and am working up the courage to attempt roller derby. I've lived in sharehouses all my life, from my first, living with surfers in London to my last one, in Thornbury with the best hammocks and veggie garden and flatmates who became best mates. I would love to find a little community again.
