Hi, I'm a singer-songwriter and music production student from India, looking for a private, furnished room in a sharehouse close to the CBD and inner suburbs. I'm easy going and friendly, and very particular about cleanliness. I'm not quite into partying, but I'm always up for a beer and a chat. I'm looking for a place where everyone's privacy is respected, so that I can peacefully work on my music. If you're a musician too, we can totally jam every once in a while :)
I am looking to replace my partner and I in our current share house. We are currently sharing with another couple but unfortunately my cat has decided that their cat is his mortal enemy so alas, our dreams of a cat wedding have been dashed and we must find a new home. It's a super comfy house with heaps of space, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 living spaces. There's also a separate huge kitchen / dining area that opens onto a fenced backyard that gets heaps of sun. The house has 2 bathrooms plus a powder room, is in a quiet neighbourhood and is pet friendly. All the bedrooms are upstairs. The available room is big (3.5 x 5 m) with a walk-in wardrobe and you'll have your own bathroom as the other couple have an en suite. There is a living space just outside of the bedroom which is currently a second TV room additional to the main lounge space downstairs. There is also a spare bedroom in case you have friends or family that want to stay. The last room is an office. House has central heating and cooling. The house is furnished in the dining/kitchen, main lounge and spare room plus has a washing machine already but there is plenty of space to add more furniture if you have it especially in the upstairs living space.
Hello. I’m Michael. I’m in my mid-twenties and am looking for a new home in a new city after moving down from Brisbane to be closer to my partner and family. During the week I work as a consultant for a medical finance company (which is a nice way of saying that I work in banking, which is probably about as appealing as saying I work in real estate). Despite my day job which I do enjoy; I love reading and writing, eating and drinking, and spending time with my friends. I can work eclectic hours during the week and spend most of the weekend out and about. When I am home, I’d love to get to know everyone there, but also thoroughly enjoy my own time and space to get lost in music and text. On the flip-side I do enjoy going out, going to shows, going to festivals - but I prefer to keep it low-key at the house itself, apart from the occasional dinner and drinks. I’ve lived with multiple roommates and personality types over the last 5 years after moving out of home at 20, and believe I’m an affable and compassionate person that is able to communicate clearly and articulately, think of others before acting, and be pretty damn funny. Due to work I do need a car space or parking permit, and would be able to move in anytime. Would love the chance to meet you in person to see if we’d be a good fit ☺️

I'm a PhD student at Uni Melb and I'm looking for a private room to move in at the start of next month near the Parkville Campus. A bit about me - I'm 28 years old, from India, with interests in science, engineering, tennis, cricket, all sorts of foods and beverages. I actually cook some pretty decent food, love to share conversations over beer, coffee, wine (beverage of your choice really), and debate and discuss about anything under the sun. I respect others needs for the occasional down time (and prefer some of it myself) and prefer quiet neighborhoods for that reason. I'm looking to move in at the start of September, but I'm flexible by a week or two. Hope to find a great place soon!

Hi all! I'm a Brazilian PhD student at the University of Melbourne. I'm a very easy going person, I've shared houses before and I always had a great experience! I would say that my favorite topics are music, movies and beer! During weekdays I'm mostly in the laboratory running my experiments (I'm a chemist, btw). Usually I'm up quiet early and I'm back home late in the evening. On weekends I do my best to forget that I'm a chemist. I like to catch up with my favorite series, cook (on Sundays I my traditional pizza night) and play a bit of guitar (not to worry, I only play electric and I always use headphones, so I make no noise whatsoever). I'm looking for a quite and clean place to move into. Ideally I's like to share a place with one more person, but 3-4 housemates will be considering depending on the size of the house/apartment. I have preference for places where the landlord lives on-site, if not I would like to take part in the lease. If you have any questions, please, do not hesitate in contacting me!
The Little Leafy Parkville Abode is within a ground-level timbre floored apartment just next door to the University of Melbourne – an ideal location for people doing their PhD or master's degree. When I say next door I mean literally — you'll have a view of it from across the road. The room is on the small side, but this is made up for by location, location, location. It's a short skip and a hop to go to one of the UniMelb buildings and study there if need be. There is a small heater in the room. It is 20-25min walk to Victoria Markets and the CBD. It is an approximately 30min walk to RMIT. There's a tram stop right outside. It's 4 stops from the free tram zone. Kitchen is small but functional. There's a shared laundry area out the back, and NBN. We are looking for a either a master's or PhD student, or a young professional. Female is preferred, but the right male candidate will be considered. For the first two and a half weeks you'll be living with two others, a couple who share the large room. One of them will be going abroad for work in mid-September, so you shall be living with one female for the majority of the 6-month sublease. You'll be living with a young female Malaysian architectural graduate who works in an office not far away. She is very friendly and hospitable, and keeps a clean and tidy household. You yourself have to be good with keeping a clean dust-free household. We are not looking for someone who is closed off and will not interact with the person or people they are living with. Our expectation is to find someone who is friendly, easygoing and compatible with the housemate who stays here permanently. As the room is small, you'll likely find yourself spending a lot of time on the couch or armchair in the living/dining room. This apartment and the area it belongs to is the nicest place I've lived in, and I've moved around of few times in the last couple years living in Melbourne. Parkville is a tree-filled, leafy suburb that is very enjoyable to walk around. The nearest major supermarket is a 20 minute walk away, and Victoria Markets is about the same distance. You'll save a lot of money shopping at Vic Markets on your fruit and vegetables.
Originally from Canada! Two years ago I moved from Canada and started a master degree in Neuroscience in France, which I just finished. I lived in Bordeaux, and also lived in Barcelona, Spain, for 7 months. I love meeting new people and learning/integrating different cultures into my life! I am moving to Australia (Melbourne) in the next few weeks and looking for a place to stay. I am a very clean person and tidy up after myself in common spaces. I am looking for a place where I can have my own room with a dresser/closet space. I happy to share bathrooms etc. I love to socialize and go out (also enjoy quiet moments after a long day of work), have shared dinners, be in nature and play sports. Very happy and relaxed person.

You will be living with a family of 2 young professionals (male) and their mother (who will be going back and forth from overseas). Your room will be on ground floor facing the street. There is a toilet on ground floor but you will have to come upstairs for shower.
