If you message me first, I expect you to understand my requirement for some storage space (not a closet in the bedroom).

Current accom
My current arrangement has become too much of a stretch for my budget, I need somewhere cheaper and hoping to find a shorter commute to the city (currently takes me ~40 mins from Clifton Hill). I am comfortable where I am until I find the right place.

Budget
$200-300/week + bills is my rough budget. I am currently paying $390/week + bills

Location/Work
I work full time in the city as a data scientist and WFH 1-2 days per week, so I need access to, or space for a desk. Ideal suburbs are inner North (Fitzroy, Collingwood, Preston), inner East (Richmond, Hawthorne, Kew), and inner West (Footscray, Yarraville). I value proximity to train or bus transport.

Storage
I will need some storage outside the bedroom, i.e. shed, garage, big under stairs closet, some space to put big shelves - I have multiple large paragliding bags, camping gear, ski/snowboard gear, etc.

Furnishings/Common areas
I have a car (need on-street unrestricted parking as minimum), dont have furnishings and would prefer not to aqcuiring any but will consider acquiring bedroom furniture for the right place, I need a desk in my room or a study for WFH. I like to cook so kitchen/fridge space is important. I would love to have access to a bath tub!

Vibe
I'm looking for like-minded, similar aged housemates who are social and outdoorsy. Prefer min 2 housemates, more is great as long as there is a good culture fit, and everyone is respectful. I'm a very active climber with Urban Climb membership and will be going for climbing and paragliding trips on weekends, sharing meals and eating out during the week.

I am an avid paragliders with license to fly tandems and compete nationally. I'm an Aussie who grew up in QLD and follows the rugby league, used to work as a mech engineer but pivoted into data science. I'm into long term buy and hold sharemarket investing. I am very easy going, respectful, clean/tidy, financially dependable, and avoid conflict and drama.
