I (Wesley) am a part time student at RMIT working 2 jobs, close to full time. My partner (Lisa) is working 2 jobs as well, full time. We have lived together for the past 2 years and are looking for a new, long term place. We're a social, easy going couple who love to have a laugh, a drink and open to virtually anything/anyone.
Hello, I work full time in the Community sector. Ideally would love a modern apartment / townhouse with a spot for my car (on street is okay). Happy to share with either male or female. 😊
I'm 27 and work as a Speech Pathologist at a school. I love keeping busy and am often out and about during the week with netball, yoga and dinner catch ups but also love a night in where I can watch Netflix or practice piano! (Don't worry - it comes with headphones so you won't have to put up with listening to me practice!) I have a big comfy couch that I can bring with me otherwise I can leave it at my parents. Also, I have a few pot plants that I'd love to bring along and have around the house. I've lived in a few share houses in Aus and in the UK and have made close friends through that so I am used to living with other people. I'm looking to move into a tidy/clean social share house with people who will be happy to share meals, have chats and the odd drink/movie night every now and then. I also understand everyone likes downtime (as do I). So ideally I would prefer to find like minded housemates that share similar values. I like to keep communal areas relatively clean, so would like to live with people who are happy to tidy up after themselves. I am looking at moving around August or September.
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time in construction 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after myself and happy to help keep the house clean. Any question, ask away
URGENTLY LOOKING FOR A HOME ...I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... LOCATION NOT IMPORTANT. I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom, and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film 2019, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home so a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 13 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates and budget. Cheers Peita:)
Heeeey, Im Talitha. Looking for a place that's 6 or more months but preferably a year if we are well suited. I'm generally very busy with work five days a week in the city as a dental nurse, study (online self paced). I dance twice a week and I'm really into my fitness. In my free time i like to see my boyfriend (His usually at mine once a week- some weeks i go to his place), see friends, play Xbox, cook, meal prep. I tend to be a clean person. I wont get mad over a cup / plate in the sink if you've had a busy day. Once a week after study i might have a glass of wine and watch a murder mystory doco. We can totally do that together too if you want. Love a boogie at revs or pawn&co when i do go out. I prefer to keep partying separate from my living arrangements. As long as my future roommates can communicate well about bills / issues / when people might pop by, I'm sure we will have a blast! My current lease ends in August 11 ... About you- -Male or female -Working full time / or studying -House hold of 3 MAXIMUM -Friendly -Clean -Considerate and able to communicate well -Over 21 & under 35 -Not on crack Hit me up xxx
I am originally from north east Victoria but have been living in inner-Melbourne for the last 12 years, after studying in Gippsland then living in the Yarra Valley for a few years. I currently work as a set dresser/decorator in the TV biz but after 10 years, I am taking a break (who knows how long for!?) to teach Pilates full time. I love to cook, I weave (like yarn and needle on a loom kind of weaving) and love to go out for brunch/coffee/dinner/any kind of food-related event. I enjoy sharing a meal and a glass of wine at home but also cherish my own space and downtime. I am pretty neat and tidy around the house (enjoy a good spring clean now and again) and love adding to my indoor plant collection! Prefer to live in a nice home, with lots of space and natural light - my crazy party days are mostly behind me so a non-party house would be ideal!
I am looking for a friendly share house around Northcote/Clifton Hill/Fitzroy North area. I am currently working full time as an Occupational Therapist in aged care, with a new full time job starting in the disability sector at the beginning of September. I enjoy being active and healthy, going to the gym, yoga, indoor soccer and for runs. I also enjoy going for overnight hikes when I have the time or out for a drink and a dance with my friends on the weekend. I like socialising with my housemates and cooking meals together every now and again. I am vegetarian, so living in a vegetarian/vegan house would be a plus, but not a must.
Hi, my name is Tahlie, I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently living in my own unit on the far south coast of NSW. I will be moving to Melbourne at the start of august/end of July to study! I am looking to move into a share-house with people around the same age as me! I am extremely clean and tidy and like to have my own space as well as to socialise. I am excited to move into a share-house and meet new people and start my life in Melbourne! :)
im a 28yo musician working full time in disability services. im from brisbane so i like the idea of having housemates who i might become buds with too (no pressure though) I always keep shared space clean, but sometimes let my room get away from me. Im super friendly. as jackie moon says, everyone love everyone. peace
I am a mature single woman on a budget! I am quiet, into meditation & spiritual growth, reader knitter cat lover singer songwriter laugh-er. Love cooking, am into tidiness without too much stress on it. From NZ originally. Looking for somewhere quiet, on my own or shared with another fairly similar person. Love to be given a go with accommodation!
Hey! I’m Nari I work full time as an apprentice Hairdresser (which means free haircuts 😉) and I’m almost always at work, Likes chilling in the sun and talking about random whatevers, op shopping and furniture stores, and over analysing movies. I tend to keep to myself but also keen on movie nights and a chit chat ✌🏼🌻
Hi, I'm Kathryn 32, I work in a hotel and looking to study party time from the start of 2019. I’m currently in Northcote and and looking around the same area (a few suburbs in any direction is ideal) I am friendly and social i enjoy a drink after work and occasionally sharing a meal, I understand we all need or personal space but would like to become friends with my house mates. I love to travel and keep busy when I’m not working, I'm vegetarian but am not bothered by what others eat. If you want to know anything else just ask.
Hi! I'm Wendy. I moved to Melbourne from New Zealand 5 years ago. I'm now working as a full time Graphic Designer in Northcote. I'm easygoing and not a huge party person so you'll mostly find me at home on weekdays, going out on the weekends. In my spare time I like to illustrate, catch up on shows on Netflix, and cook. I have a cat called Anubis who is the most well behaved boy! I'm looking for preferably an unfurnished room as I have some bits of furniture, mainly a desk, chair and some plants. Wooden floors would also be preferable, as well as a sunlit, well-ventilated space, but not essential :). Feel free to send me a message!
Hey there! Im looking for a quiet house to call home :) 29 years old im from colombia and i work 5 days a week in a restaurant Ive been in Australia for almost 5 years so it is home now,I do calligraphy and drawing as hobby I love everything connected to art, pretty easy going, respectful and chill!
Hey! I'm Dec, an actor and part time waiter looking for a new place to call home. I have lived in Melbourne for two years and have a lot of experience with housemates and shared living. I am clean, organised, punctual with rent and bills, happy to hang out and also give space where needed. I'm a decent cook and am happy to participate in shared meals. Please let me know if I sound like the right fit for your new place! Cheers, Dec
Friendly, introverted, private, respectful, working full-time, looking to save money, but also get out a bit more! Team ups, I know exactly what i'm looking for and hope it suits you too! Ideally 3 bedrooms/flatmates including self, males or females (doesn't matter which), each with own ensuite or allocated bathroom that each individual is responsible for cleaning, flatmates who are tidy and clean up as you go type people, prepared to put in their share of cleaning common areas or willing to pay for a cleaner maybe once a fortnight to clean common areas/shared spaces. Internet is a must, bills split evenly, willing to create a cosy, comfortable home environment for all with the occasional catch up, but other than that independent working individuals who can hold a conversation, be respectful of space and individual needs. I like to relax at weekends as i work Monday-Friday in a school and it can be hectic. I have been getting in to exercise lately for health and although i like to read, love film and TV series, ten pin bowling, bike riding and occasional cooking, i do not do them all regularly so don't really consider them hobbies. I love music, but am not a party animal, just a lot of fun when going out hehe : ) Contact me if you think we would make a good team up, or if you have a room that sounds i would match. Cheers! ; )
Hey there! I am fairly tidy, quiet and respectful. I work at Guide Dogs taking care of the dogs there - so always have one I can bring home for a few days if you're a dog lover like me. I have part time hours but take up a lot of casual hours, so some weeks can be fairly intense work-wise for me. Would love to be able to hang out with my roommates and have a wine or watch some Netflix, but as an extroverted introvert, also need some time to myself 🙂
I am tidy, easygoing and love cooking. *BIG FAMILY* myself, 2 small dogs and 2 cats - all VERY well behaved and very loved, but I understand it is a lot.
I am a 34-year female from Melbourne, working full time in the CBD. I'm fairly easy-going, I like to socialize and get to know my housemates, but also appreciate having downtime and my own space. I'm a clean and tidy person and my party days are behind me but I won’t say no to heading down to the pub for a drink! I enjoy travel, being outdoors, working out and drinking wine, not necessarily in that order! Looking to share with one or two other like-minded people.
A brown Bangladeshi girl who is fun loving and hates to stay messy. Studying full time at La Trobe University , Bachelor of IT. I am a calm morning person, Looking for a place where I can get a good friendly environment but I respect other's privacy as well. Willing to increase budget if bills included Up for leasing a house together as my mother visits me once a year for a month. Willing to stay nearby any station with is max 15 min from city or any place from where PT goes straight to city and LA TROBE UNIVERSITY, BUNDOORA
I'm surprised to be 49yrs old! I'm moving from Gippsland to be closer to family. I have a keen interest in animal welfare, but no pets. My houseplants are quiet things. I'm mostly quiet, but do enjoy eccentricity and playing with ideas and stories. I like cooking, gardening, am currently an unskilled drawerer(? and speller, evidently), English comedy and John Clarke humour are my favourites, and I am aiming for 'optimism' as a character trait. I'd love a home for the longer term.
I'm Kerrod, 26. I have recently been accepted into the Metropolitan Fire Brigade and my recruit course begins in Cragieburn on the 1st of August. I am looking for a place that I can stay in until at least the end of December to make the commute a bit easier. My course will operate on a 4 day on, 4 day off cycle, there will be weekends that I am working early/ needing to study. I am not looking for a big party house but I am of course understanding of other people's differing schedules. I do enjoy the opportunity to relax/ socialise/ hang out where possible. I'm a clean and tidy person, I enjoy socialising with a balance of my own time. I am happy to keep to myself and also open to sharing a drink or good conversation. I'm a musician and I play bass as well as guitar. I like yoga, meditation, and exercise like running or rock climbing. Please contact me to learn more! :)
Friendly, sociable, well-travelled. Enjoy good conversation and a few laughs. Also self-sufficient, happy to respect others' privacy. Based on some of the responses I got when I was last searching on this site, I should assure potential housemates in their 20s and 30s that I won't drone on and on about the Good Old Days until I have dinner at 6.00pm, play a couple of Bing Crosby 78s on my wind-up Victrola, then demand total silence when I call it a night at 7.00pm. I have worked in the music industry for the last 30 years (booking bands for music festivals and venues). I have been off work for some time (a throat problem required surgery late last year), but hope to resume full-time work soon. Music aside, my interests include golf, AFL, reading, movies, food (dining out, cooking), wine, travel.
I am a sri lankan student moving to Australia with my husband for my PhD at University of Melbourne. We are looking for a clean, neat, silent and nice place for settling in. We are friendly, fun loving, caring, clean and responsible people who wish to have the company of good people.
Ideally looking for a TEAM UP as i have my own gear and furniture. I enjoy company, social and active but like quiet time too. Have been living in my own place for 18 mths but would like to move closer to city such as Darebin area. I'm a bit eco minded so i would ideally like some garden / veggie beds. I play tennis, enjoy yoga and meditation. Love dogs but don't own one. Are you a bird lover? I have a small parrot currently. I'm allergic to cats. (PS I'm not looking for a boyfriend, just a house mate)
A pretty chilled individual. Final year law student at La Trobe University. Working part time for a firm in the city. Been house sharing for the last 5 years. Ideally I want to find a place with a long term lease (+12 months) where I consider home in the north eastern suburbs. I enjoy looking after a place and keeping it clean, warm, and welcoming. I am quite easygoing and sociable but also understands everyone has his/her own life and is entitled to privacy at home. I have great references from different real estate agents and private landlords with whom I have lived with over the years in the area. I will be ready to move in by early August.
Hi I’m Adam! Originally from Perth but now call Melbourne home. I’m 31, and am a fibre optic technician/team leader working in the telecommunications industry. I’m based mainly in the city, but do have to travel, or do night shift every once in a while. I’ve lived out of home for most of my adult life so I know the ins and outs of living with others. I like to be friends with the people I live with, but don’t expect to hang out all the time. I enjoy my personal space as I’m sure you do too. I pay my bills on time, and whilst not much of a clean freak, I do like things to be tidy. I come with my good friend and fur-son Rudie. He’s an Australian Koolie x Border Collie so he loves to run around and chase balls, but he’s just as happy to cuddle up on the couch and ask you for pats all day. I’m happy for my housemates to be as much or as little as involved with him as they feel. I may ask you to feed him or look after him for a weekend or so, but it’s totally fine if you don’t want to. I can always organize something else. Basically he’s my responsibility. I don’t do much on school nights but on weekends I like to go and have a beer with friends, eat as much food as I possibly can, go catch a punk/hardcore show, watch some sport, or get away with rudie for a night or 2. That’s about all I can think of but any questions, feel free to ask!
Hi all! My name is Tomina, I am 29 years old and I'm a singer, and full time customer service rep. This year I decided to take the leap and move to Melbourne from Brisbane and I'm super excited. I'm a great housemate - I like cooking, socialising and keeping to myself when needed. I am almost never home, but when i am I love to put on Netflix and relax with my kitty, Queenie. We come as a pair! She is very friendly, she does love dogs. I'm looking for a room, granny flat, duplex, anything at all that can help me get on my feet. I'm easy going, germophobe level clean, and I will be your friend. I would prefer living with people of similar age and interests, like art, music and cuisine. I hope you like this ad and we get to talk! My moving date is flexible too :)
Hi I'm Kim, 30 years old. I work part time hours as an osteopath. I am friendly, easy going, clean, tidy and very responsible with rent and bills always paid on time. My interests include socialising with my friends, photography, music, language learning, meditation, yoga, the occasional night out and travel when I get the opportunity.

I'm neat, tidy and organised, respectful of others and i keep myself busy, planning activities for my son, aswell as speech therapy and O.T classes. I enjoy good conversation and doco's, + the occasional movie. No time restrictions but looking to move soonish, drop me a line if your a potential housemate, cheers.
Hey! I'm a nice, easygong girl from rural NSW moving to Melbourne to commence my first year of uni in 2019 at UniMelb, looking for accommodation either close to the CBD or in walking distance of a train station. I'm a bit of an overachiever in my studies but outside school I'm easy to get along with, down to earth and attentive to needs of those I'm living with. Hobbies include gaming and all kinds of art.
Hi, my name is Jen and I am a nurse. I am a friendly, down to earth and social person. I respect other people’s space and like my own space at times. I also like a clean environment but it doesn’t have to be perfect. Looking for 1-2 housemates :-). I am looking to move out the end of May, start of June as I don’t have much time to move out with work commitments. if you would like to know more or are interested in meeting don’t hesitate to privately message me! Thanks😊
+Respectful, Responsible and Cleanness+ Thats Paramount 😀. I am 29, Currently in the process of joining the Australian Defense Forces. Love my own down time, exercising. Im a very clean minimalistic person, friendly and always keen to make new friends and have a laugh with or with out a drink. Outdoors and adventures are a plus. See you soon!!!
I’m fun, busy and independent, well-travelled and excellently house-trained. House plants and fairy lights! I'm currently responsible for one only furry orange-and-white feline gentleman (he's not a gentleman at all, he's a freaking animal) and two very polite bowl-dwelling rescue fish.
Hi everyone :).. im moved to Melbourne from Adelaide a few years ago to study archaeology at La Trobe uni and im currently working part time in sales. I am a fairly tidy and organised person who would love to find others to live with who i can get on well with and interact with as room mates, but also have space to do our own thing. We are 3 friends looking for a place in the listed areas and are looking for a fourth person to join us. Kelly and I currently live together in a sharehouse and Charlotte will join us when our lease ends. Kelly is 22 and studies music at Collarts. Charlotte is 19 and studies nursing, is a dancer and has a few jobs in the north east area. Jasmine is 19, works in Thomastown and has a gorgeous 5 year old cavoodle. All 3 of us are vegans and we would have a fully vegan house. A tidy house is important to us as well as everyone’s space, though would love some house dinners and chills.
My name is Hannah. I'm a 25 years old (don't let the age fool you i'm very mature and a bit of a granny!). I'm currently working casually about 3-4 days a week in the Medical Industry. I'm very quiet, respectful and love some peace. If I'm not at home cooking, reading, studying, doing pilates in my room or trying to learn German (what a long process) - I'm out with with friends doing something social - the usual I guess! I'm now looking for a quiet, peaceful place to call 'home'. I must mention I REALLY do love my alone time and spending time alone but of course want to get a long and have the odd chat and hang out with my housemate. And yes, I do smoke. Outdoors only and trying to quit. Can't even stand the smell myself.
