Am a casual gamer who works as a PCA in aged care and soon in disability. Am from Zimbabwe, laid back and am into movie, anime, metal and freelance video and graphic design jobs.
I'm ultimately a creative and adventurous type, but professionally I'm a research academic. I've done a fair bit of travel, from the USA to Latvia and much in between. I've lived in quite a few share houses and I think I'm pretty aware about shared space, responsibilities, and gentle effective communication. Aiming for eco-friendly (not eco-fascistic) practices in the home is important to me. The cooking muse seems to have left me but I do make great salads and I'm superb at silly dancing around the lounge. In my down time I take my dog Maxie to the park and we get away camping or to Radelaide (hometown) whenever possible. Sometimes I go out to gigs or a bar or BBQ with friends. Quite often I binge-watch scifi series in bed on my laptop. I also do a bit of freestyle art and craft; usually on the creepy side but not tooo creepy! Aside from that I do meditation and yoga practice daily, and I study martial arts and potter in the garden. I'd like to get a veggie patch going or contribute to one. I'm also learning bass guitar; well, I'm teaching myself so it's slow progress :) My dog Maxie is a senior citizen kelpieXdingo. She's very sweet and unobtrusive. She mostly sleeps but likes to supervise back yard activities. She's chook-friendly but not cat-friendly. I take her for walks every day, and wherever possible she comes with me on outings but not as often now because she gets too tired.
Work Full Time Social Yet Enjoy My Own Time Usually Out And About On Weekends Open Minded But Also Say What's On My Mind Also-Open Book Policy, Everyone Knows Where They Stand Then Get In Touch
Professional female working in the communications and marketing, looking to find a cheaper place than my current unit. I have a great sense of humour (quirky), fairly neat and tidy sort of person, good with money and enjoy films, books, and art and culture around Melbourne. Can also cook! Would like to share with a similar sort of professional female, not really into the party scene any more but wouldn't pass on a good night of wine etc. every now and again, and am dog friendly too (allergic to cats unfortunately). Like my own space, including cooking etc., but also would like to share with someone friendly to catch up on the week/day :-) I have a large-ish queen sized bed and matching sides and tallboy so would need larger room rather than smaller. Possibly 3m x 4m ish. Would also need broadband internet or availability at least for computing, Tv etc.
I love to cook delicious and healthy meals every day. I believe in respecting each other, by cleaning up after myself and knowing when others need peace and quiet. I like to enjoy the company of others as well as enjoying time alone. I work 4 days per week as a registered nurse in Fairfield. I grew up in Adelaide and have been living in Melbourne for the last 12 years.
Looking to create a new share or join an existing share with other positive, balanced, responsible flatmates who can cook a little, garden a little, are clean and dont take themselves too seriously. Cashed up as I work five days a week and also have a scholarship which funds my postgrad studies. Enjoy living in a decent home environment where everyone has their own lives and interests, and sharing an occasional meal together. This time around I'd like to live with people who are interested in creating a home environment and who also have a community outside of the home. I want to live somewhere with people who have their act together and expect a pleasant home environment together with mutual respect. After a larger unfurnished bedroom for QS Bed, plus a desk OR to bring furnishings into the living spaces if creating a NEW SHARE. Fridge washer microwave etc- most of the basics. Alternatively could look at storage if joining an existing share. Cat owner so after a place with an enclosed yard, not in a busy street and would prefer some room to grow us all veggies or at least a few potted herbs. Both myself and The Furry One would need a long term standard lease agreement. Bond and references available. Fitzroy North, Clifton Hill, Carlton North, Northcote, Ivanhoe East, Elwood, Elsternwick, Bentleigh, Brighton, Hampton preferably, but within about 20mins of the CBD.
Hi guys, I'm a 32yo professional looking for a furnished house to share for 6 months from early 2017. I'm originally from country Victoria but have spent the past 10 years in Western Australia. Prefer the Northcote/Thornbury area but will consider anywhere within a 30 minute PT ride of the CBD. I've spent the majority of the past 15 years in share houses and as such I come to you as a clean, tidy and respectful housemate whom contributes to household chores. I'm also partial to sharing meals on occasion and socialising with the household. I am generally pretty quiet during my working week (Mon-Fri 8-5) and tend to exercise, relax or work on my hobbies/interests on the weeknights, and socialise/travel/hike/visit family on the weekends. Ideally I'm looking for a small household with 1-2 other people whom have similar habits and hobbies/interests. I'm a keen outdoor enthusiast with hiking/trekking/camping being my main hobby. I also love travel, salsa and generally experiencing all sorts of new things in life. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to meet up and chat! Thanks for stopping by my profile.

Dislikes: Don't be shocked SOCCER, not all Australian born, cultural Italians like soccer;) and REALITY TV SHOWS not interested and don't care about the farmer, the bachelor, the master chef , the paleo guru, even home and away is that still on tv! Bring back that 70s show;) Potential house mate, tell me about yourself, born, culture, likes and dislikes. .
Hey :) I've been studying in Melbourne for 4 years at RMIT and am about to start my first full time job. I'm pretty quiet but like to be social sometimes too. I'm looking for a housemate who wants to get a place in the inner north - Northcote/Thornbury/Fairfield-ish. I'm tidy and always pay bills on time, and am pretty chill :)
I'm a 25 year-old working in Mordialloc and currently looking for a long-term stay in a share house in the inner north of Melbourne. When I'm not working I'm a keen cyclist and cricketer, podcast listener and pub trivia maniac. I've lived in sharehouses for the last five years across a couple of different countries, so I'm housebroken, reasonably tidy and cool with pets, especially silly cats and lazy dogs. I'm happy to keep to myself most of the time, but if you're living in a more social house then I can dig it.
Hey Guys, I'm an easy going person who works quite a lot. I have two jobs Monday-Friday and I don't finish up until around 7-8ish usually. By day I'm the credit manager for a wine company and by night I clean. I'm clean and reliable. I've never missed a bill payment. Not overly interested in a massive party house but won't say no to a cheeky beer. I'm very social but like my quiet time too. I'm usually pretty busy and out on the weekends but I also love my Xbox and a movie/TV binge when I can. My books are my babies so if there's room for a bookshelf it would be great. I've been living solo for the last 3 years so I have everything a house could need. Only thing that needs updating is the couch. I have two cats, they are 98% outside cats (both them and I prefer it) so I'm looking for something with a yard they can chill in.
My name is Matty and I work as both a professional drummer and as a scientist. I am looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new one with a garage for my music gear and practice. Being a professional drummer that is chasing a goal of being largely successful I am in need a garage (ideally unattached from the house) to accommodate my practice. I Only practice until approximately 9pm of an evening (I get home from work at 6) and I don't ever start before midday on the weekends, keeping in mind too that I regularly have rehearsals and gigs and things so it doesn't happen at full volume every day but as regularly as I can fit it in which ends up being about 3 times per week - so not really much at all. Personality wise I am, friendly, approachable, confident, logical, dedicated and love meeting new people and being social (when I have time for it). I have lived in several share houses over the last 8 years and have no problem adapting to new environments and personalities. I love a good chat and I love people. I am an avid musician and get into the footy a little bit (I grew up in the country, I'm sorry :P ). I also try to hit up the gym a few times a week. I'm clean and very much want the people I live with to be clean and tidy.. my room is usually out of control, but everywhere else in the house is always tidy and clean. As I mentioned, I am very much working towards developing a successful musical career, so moving into a place that I can set my drumming up in a garage is on the top of my priority list, followed immediately by having awesome housemates! Ideally it would be great to have housemates that can I get along well enough with to have a beer and go out for a meal but that also have their own independent lives going on. Between working full-time, rehearsing, touring and performing, I go between being home most nights to being out or away for (seemingly) weeks at a time. I have "done my time" so to speak, in uni party houses and have outgrown such living circumstances, thus, I am clean and tidy and respectful of the need to keep the place that way. This doesn't mean I don't love a party, which I do, but, am just looking for reasonable common sense/courteous type people, and also having a kitchen that I am not afraid to cook in! Also - I will be overseas in Central America and California from late September until early November - thus, I'm looking for somewhere to move in the first 2 weeks of November for at least 1 year.
I am a medical student with a clinical placement at the Austin Hospital. Would love to find a place close to there. Am easy going, not too fussed about the house as long as its cleanish. Lived in college for a year so can get along with people well.
Hi we are a happy out going couple looking to rent a place for the next 6 months, we are clean friendly and respectful. We work both work fulltime jobs, mainly at home during evenings.
As keen advocates of being able to help 'look after each other' and the "collaborative economy", house-sitting lends itself nicely to living this value. Having house sat before, having owned properties, having had many adventurous visitors, we completely understand the need to have someone caring, sharing and responsible in your home when you may/can not be there. We invite you to contact us so we can work out how to be of assistance to you.
Hey Friends! Okay, so about me..... My name is Libby, I'm 31 and right into books + chai teas + cute cafes (all at once), craft-a-noons and pottering around outside. I spend a lot of my time doing all the 'good stuff' - yoga and meditation (which I love and hope to someday teach), healthy eating, reading, writing, playing the uke, seeing friends and crafting. I can be a bit of a hermit at times, enjoying my own private time, but I've been told that I bring a calm and positive vibe into a home and I find solace in that zen, clean and tidy sort of feel, meaning, I'm a tidy person! I'm a quiet house mate - no late night shenanigans for me - but I'm always up for a chat when I cross paths with a roomie and though I generally like to organise my own food, I love sharing the odd meal to catch up. On food, I'm not vego, but try to eat consciously and mostly paleo (I do cook meat). I don't have a dog at this stage, but I can't wait to get a rescue dog! Hopefully this will happen in Feb, so looking for a dog-friendly place. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a quiet, zen, and peaceful household. One that's clean, tidy and cosy - fairy lights and pot plants a bonus. Sharing with just one other 28 yr old + female is my ideal. Have an excellent day, looking forward to meeting you, Libby.
Brisbanite looking to move to Melbourne. Keen to meet people and experience the area for all its worth. Looking for any place that is friendly and sociable, as I'm pretty much starting my life fresh in Melbourne. Have a friendly, quiet inside cat who you might fall in love with. I am a full-time employee with Woolworths who will organise a transfer to any available nearby store, so my employment and job security is sound. I am also a long time musician looking to engage in the local art scene. I have a large ute that I'm more than happy to assist any potential housemates in odd jobs and moving things, which I'm sure we can agree is an invaluable asset.
My name is Marina and I'm an easy going 22 year old girl. I am currently looking for long term accomidation in a private room. I am very considerate of others and their privacy and I will always pay my rent on time. I like to go out most weekends and have the occasional drink, but I'm also quite a home cat and like to have a nice quiet night in. I love gaming, movies, music, drawing and spending time with my friends, these are most of my hobbies. I do smoke but not heavily and only outside so I dont bother anyone. I love to cook and I'm happy to cook for myself and others on most days. I do have a car and will be looking for some sort of on street parking. Im also always willing and happy to help with cleaning up the house when required. So, if you think I'd be a good fit for your house please give me a call, as I'm looking to move by the end of September :)
Hey I'm chilled, easy going guy. I work in the north-east suburbs as a primary teacher (it’s my first year full-time after a career change with a photography/design background) - I've got grade 3 😁! I’m independent but love to hang out over a tea/coffee/beer/wine/dinner/netflix/movie night etc. I'm a passionate traveler, bit of a geek, out, do my best to stay fit, non smoker. On weekends I prefer to have dinner/coffee catch ups with friends and go to something on in/around the city.

22 year old male, very recently moved to Melbourne for work. generally work between 30 and 45 hours a week. I'm tidy and clean up after myself and happy to help with my fair share of general chores. I'm open to doing weekly group dinners but for most of the week I will be cooking my own meals. I love to have a chat and very much hope my future house mates do as well, but I like the occasional time alone. I do enjoy the occasional drink or two on the weekend, but I wont be throwing any parties at the house. I do enjoy the outdoors and Ill try to spend a good portion of my weekends out hiking and love the beach/water. I have no issue with pets and kind of encourage it if possible!
Hello all. My name is Shankar, and I am looking for a room in a real home. Originally from India, I recently moved to this city from Sydney. I'm 27, male and work full-time in IT. I love soccer, movies and TV shows. I'm friendly, tidy and reliable. Having lived in shared accommodations before, I understand how the game works(Things like keeping the common areas clean and cleaning up after myself in the kitchen, etc). I'm always up for a chat, drink or two, sharing stuff etc. But I also like to retreat into my room at times, and know that the others desire the same as well. Honestly, I prefer a home where the people are friendly and relaxed, as I've had some amazing housemates in the past. I'm not much of a cook, but intend to learn it ( I promise I won't turn the place upside down :) ). I am available to move-in asap. Also, furnished rooms would be at the top of my list, as I don't have any furniture with me at the moment. I Look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to text me on my number, and I'll reply as quickly as possible.
I am a very clean and tidy person. I am capable of socialising with everyone and easy to get along with, yet I am more than capable of respecting people space.
