Back in Melbourne after four years studying in Canberra, I'm currently studying medicine and working in research. In my spare time, you might find me reading, listening to musical theatre and enjoying being outdoors. I enjoy a good chat about almost anything, but mostly just do my own thing. I have a few years experience with sharing spaces; I'm a considerate housemate, reliable with rent and upkeep and I like to keep things clean. I'm looking specifically for a place along the Hurstbridge train line.
Lia - 29, Makeup artist, Film & TV. Max - 27, youtuber, director, writer, producer and comedian. We are a fun, outgoing couple who have been together for over 7 years. We laugh a lot and are pretty social over the weekends and like to relax during the week by cooking or heading out for a feed. We currently live in port melbourne and want to explore other suburbs. We would ideally love to move in with people who are fun, easy going and who we can be friends with. We have a dog called charlie - she is a king charles cavalier and is super friendly, cuddly and doesnt bark. She tends to get over excited when she sees a cat so maybe best to avoid the confrontation!
Hi, I’m Mathew, I'm 35 and I study Aerospace Engineering full-time at RMIT in the city. I'm a pretty big geek - In my spare time I like to play video games, watch movies, fiddle with computers and read about technical things. To balance it off I do like to go to the beach, see a live gig, explore Melbourne or catch up with friends when I can. I'm also dabbling in the world of health & fitness. I need to find a place somewhere north of the city. My course moves to RMIT's Bundoora campus next year and I am hoping to keep my commute reasonable. I have a brand new fridge, microwave, and a very nice, hyper-efficient german engineered front load washing machine. Keen to move this month! My lease at my current abode ends at the end of August. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Any other questions, please ask.
Hi there, I'm an Irish girl currently working full time as a website administrator. I just moved to Melbourne in April and will be looking to move into a new place by August 27th. Because of the limitations with my visa, my contracts with work change a bit meaning I, unfortunately, can't commit to a set length of stay. I am clean, quiet and courteous and I enjoy movies, music and reading (very exciting, I know). I'm always up for a chat, but I also enjoy my down time and I am very respectful of other peoples privacy. My requirements are that I need to be near a train station as I don't have a car, I would much prefer a quiet room as I am a bit of a light sleeper and I need somewhere that's fully furnished. If you have any questions, please let me know :)
Hi! I am 25 years old and work full-time as a Practice Coordinator for an accounting firm in Clifton Hill. I have lived in a share house previously but have temporarily moved back home but am ready to move back closer to the city and meet some new people. I am an easy going person with a very friendly nature; my work keeps me pretty busy during the week and i work late some night's but am very respectful when it comes to noise levels. I have a long term boyfriend who lives down on the Mornington Peninsula who i visit every second weekend. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family but i also enjoy winding down with some trashy tv and catching up on much needed sleep. As i currently live at home, i am flexible on move in dates. I do have a car so parking is necessary, i am happy to park on the street provided there is enough places to park.
Canadian living and working in Melbourne, here permanently. I've lived in share houses before so know the go with being clean and respectful. I can leave my current sharehouse at anytime, if it's in 3 weeks or 3 months I'm very flexible. I'm pretty chilled through the week and like to go on adventures on weekends. I have a car so parking is essential. Not a smoker but don't mind living with smokers if they smoke outside the house. I love to have a glass of wine or beer every now and then, especially in summertime. :) Must be a dog lover because I have a 12 week old Japanese Spitz, he's a cute little ball of fluffy :) Message me for more information or any questions!
I am neat, clean, non-smoker, with a busy work life. I travel interstate frequently for business and would like to maintain a permanent base in Melb where I can work after hours, shower, sleep and cook breakfast for 5 nights each fortnight. No party houses, no pets, no shared bathroom please.
Just graduated my Bachelor of Fine Art last year, working full time at T2 to make the cash on the side of trying to do more art I paint when I feel like it, otherwise I get lost in my drill press and blow torch with a chunk of brass or copper! Doing a short course in silversmithing in October so props to having hand made cutlery in the house 😉 I also love to skate, learning to surf, camp/hike, mindfulness and meditation and I'm looking to go in to cultural conservation in future! I live on a mostly vegetarian diet, I only eat the occasional salmon for the omega 3s Oh and I play saxophone but don't really practice so there won't be any noise worries, but I do crack out a guitar and serenade my household every now and then ☺ happy housemate hunting! --------------------------- NOTE: Must have extra space in garage/room/study I don't mind paying extra for a place to call my studio! ---------------------------
My name is Tamara Drazic, and I'm currently studying a graduate diploma in publishing. I lived in Brisbane during my undergrad study, and stayed in the same share-house for three years; I loved turning that little old house into a home. I spend most of my spare time writing, and recently came back from a writing residency in Iceland. I'm quiet, tidy, friendly, and quite independent. I'm also a vegetarian, who is passionate (and always excited) about food. I'm very respectful of other people's privacy and belongings. I hope to hear from you soon :) Tamara
Hi, LOOKING FOR A HOME URGENTLY... I AM VERY EASY TO LIVE WITH AND HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR... I am looking for a nice relaxed place to live, I would like my own bathroom if possible and I am very flexible with the location I am more interested in having a home rather than just a room. I am a writer/director working on the third draft of an Aussie Comedy hoping to shoot the film early 2018, I am in the process of raising the budget. I am a clean tidy considerate person who has a great sense of humour, I like a laugh a meal and a glass of wine, but I also value my space and give you yours, I also pay my bills and rent on time. At the moment I will be writing from home hence a study or my own lounge, or even granny flat or studio would be helpful but not a deal breaker as I am looking for an office this year. I am studying film editing on final cut pro. I do have a 11 year old WELL TRAINED AND LOVED DOG AND A LITTLE BLACK CAT so it's important that they have a little space and are safe. I am flexible with moving dates. Cheers Peita:)
Light-hearted, responsible, creative, musical artsy good vibes person. Originally from Sydney, I love the creative culture here, and that's why am wanting to venture to live around Northcote. I really like the area. I teach art to adults with disability and mental health issues. I'm a face painter & body painter too, plus a great cook. I sing, and am looking to re-learn the uke. I'm a conscious contributor, co-creator, I go to 5Rhythms dance, am community minded, enjoy socialising with housemates and also love having my own space when I need it at home. Hit me up for a spontaneous dance breakout in the kitchen... I love these moments!!
34 years old and work as a freelance photographer and an arts therapist. At the moment, I work from home about 3 days a week (editing and planning) and 2-3 days out on location. I'm into sharing meals, wine, heart to heart chats and all that good stuff to get to know the people I'm living with. I value people and open communication. I would like to live in a multi cultural home or with people that are open to cultural differences, after all diversity is the spice of life. I'm interested in permaculture, but yet to gain the skills, willing to put the hours into the garden to get my thumbs green. I'm quirky and creative. I enjoy gatherings and being social and every now and again I'll go off on a silent retreat when I need a little zen time and clarity. I love all kinds of music from around the world. Other loves... nature, dancing (african and latin), yoga, travel, movies, documentaries, food, talks that scratch the surface, acting like a kitty cat and putting on random accents. If I sound like your hommie to be, feel free to contact me :) Also, I'm looking to move by late August, but if I find a suitable place, I can move sooner. I live in the South side but much prefer the creative and diverse flow of the North folk. Marlène (aka Marz)
Hi, I have just entered my 3rd year as a PhD student (genetics and biology) with Monash University (with full scholarship) but I primarily run my research and tutor at La Trobe University Bundoora. I'm a quiet person in general but I'm happy to get involved in social events so long as I don't have a lot of work the next day (obviously). I love to cook, drink coffee and occasionally bake bread or brew my own beer. I ride a motorbike or bicycle so parking isn't a priority, although secure parking would be lovely. I'm looking to move before the start of September and would prefer a reasonably long term situation (12+ months)
Since I work full-time, have projects and like being out, I'm not in the house too much. Got my cat, Mackerel, who's a brilliant soul and is pretty warm and respectful. Though, I am polyamorous, so future flatmates definitely need to be kind of open-minded and open to discussing things their uncomfortable or happy with. Pretty chill and low key and when I'm home, it's usually for down time, so I'm pretty respectful of space. Just looking for a kind of short term place for a few months -- unless the situation turns out to be great!
Hello, I am 35 years old and originally from Kent, England. As a police officer, my job consists of shift work including nights. I'm a very social person and enjoy getting to know people. I have an active lifestyle. My interests include playing/watching football & rugby and particpating in marathons.
I'm Australian by birth and for most of my career, I've worked in politics, government and media. I've recently had a sabbatical to complete a Juris Doctor and am thinking of a PhD next year. I'm divorced as well, but that was long ago. I have no kids and no hassles. I've just started looking for a new place to live as the owners here are moving back in. So I'm looking for an unfurnished room to myself. Ideally with no more than two others in house/apartment. Close to train. Non-smoker, male, late forties but with a full head of hair. If you'd like to meet me and show me the room, please drop me a line.
Hey there, I'm looking for a room in a share house around Footscray, inner south or inner east suburbs. Ideally looking to share with others who are also easy to live with and well housetrained- clean/tidy and prefer a home to be a place to chill out, enjoy and relax at the end of the day. About me-I am female, 28 years old and studying Exercise Science full time at Victoria University. I still have 1.5 years left then I am looking to do a masters degree. I also have two pet dogs (a boxer and border collie, 8 year olds) who I would much prefer live with me, so a secure backyard with verandah is ideal. Previous housemates really enjoy their company as they are great dogs and I walk/exercise them regularly! Therefore looking for long term (1 year+) if this is available. In any spare time from study/work I train in Crossfit, some yoga, some cooking. My rent per week range is around $180 or up to $220 for a place with a yard. I'm currently overseas in Japan so I am looking to move into a place when I get back to Melbourne from the 1st of July. Look forward to hearing from prospective housemates!
Hello! 23/M from Essex, England. Starting full time work in Melbourne in August. Enjoy my gym/fitness to balance out the beers, live music and love my sport - Football, Cricket and F1. AFL looks promising, but bear with me whilst I learn the rules. Other than that, it's the standard relaxed life with a few video games. My job requires me to have a criminal record check - so you know I wont steal from you - top housemate material, right? Reasonably house trained and understand the concept of cleaning up. I promise I'll pay all my bills bang on time because debt makes me feel uncomfortable. Sounds great? Looking for a place for 6 months plus if possible
I'm 37 and a Full-time Laboratory Operations Manager (formerly Post-doc). I am looking for an easy going and interesting house to live in. I love having a chat and a beer. I enjoy cooking, reading, astronomy etc.
I'm an English pastry chef looking for a place where I'm more than just a name on the lease. Hoping to find somewhere with housemates who enjoy socialising together (and of course respect privacy too). I come with my cat, Konrad who is super chill and loves a cuddle. He likes the outdoors so somewhere with a bit of outdoor space would be ideal. Being a pastry chef I will happily supply great coffee, bread and pastries from work.
Clean and tidy. Loves a clean kitchen(If you can't do your own dishes or clean up after yourself, maybe you should be back with your folks haha) Work 45 hours a week in Clifton Hill. Love animals, (Don't have one with me so don't worry) but due to work can probably get you free food for your pet. Enjoys Netflix, and a cold beer after a hard day. Travelling to Japan Oct 29th - Nov 15. So looking to move after that. But can move as soon as tomorrow if I find the right place, with the right people. :) Wubba lubba dub dub
Quiet non smoker from NSW Mid North Coast looking for a place from 9 October to 6 December 2017 while I support my son to continue his music study and also so I can attend work meetings. Prefer furnished accommodation which is just for myself but can make do with a camp bed or similar. I work on community based environmental projects.
I am a clean and tidy professional female. I am easy going and am respectful of other people. I am independent and have some friends here in Melbourne so I am not looking for a party house. However I would like to be able to have a chat and a glass of wine with my housemate (s) if we are in the house at the same time. I like travelling and have just got back from 3 weeks in Cuba. I have just moved to Melbourne from Perth for work. I am looking for a private room with my own bathroom. Happy with either a place or a team-up.
I am a very clean, organised and easy going person, looking for a place not only to live, but to call home. I am a 32 year old vegetarian woman and I like to spend my free time studying, reading, on the internet or simply having a good red wine accompanied by a nice conversation about any interesting subject, specially arts, music, movies and literature. As a "young old lady" I would prefer to live in a quite, non-party house and with no inside-house smokers. If you think my profile fits to your place, please send me a message. *** PS: I am looking for a really clean and tidy place where people do care about it. Cheers!
Hi, I'm looking for a shared house with the positive independent people lived in. I'm working and studying, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) Besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy, and would be energy conscious. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, who enjoy a relaxed quiet home, and able to take care of themselves. ***If you are looking for a partner or a friend who can always be stuck with, sorry that wouldn't be me. ***If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, welcome cats and like dogs. Please message me before calling, thank you! My budget is 800 to 1000/month, depending on the location. Ideally could have my own bathroom/toilet. Thank you!
Considerate, clean, relaxed, conscientious, organised and easy to get along with. I'm a seasoned sharer, having always had fantastic experiences and made great friends over years sharing houses in Melbourne and London. I appreciate a balance of being social and having my own space, interests being reading, cooking, music, eating and drinking out, some occasional sport and travel. Originally from NE Victoria, I lived in London for 6 years and Melbourne for 5 years prior to that. My current job is a fairly basic 'for-the-time-being' one (delivery van driver). Before that I worked in the wine industry in London. Currently I'm working about 30 hours per week, a mix between nights and days. I've also just started as a volunteer foodbank coordinator, which will add about another 8 hours.
I am from Melbourne and am in the process of launching my own business. I do a combination of work from home and onsite, also, have an office space in hawthorn. I am pretty relaxed, can cook and like to keep a clean house. I enjoy a good movie, spending time with mates and motorcycling when I can.
Hi there I'm looking to find a place close to Melbourne Polytechnic, Fairfield where I'm currently in the second year of my Bachelor of Illustration. I am highly creative, socially mature, like things neat and enjoy a good cook up. I'm searching for a large bedroom that can fit my double bed, desk, books, and my large drafting table.
I own a house in Castlemaine so I'm used to treating a house respectfully. I also enjoy ease in my living space, both from being reasonably tidy as well as a friendly vibe. I don't like drama since I have my own business which occupies me passionately. I'm full of stories (writer) and ideas and have lived an unconventional life for its entirety. I am an Ayurvedic practitioner (Indian holistic medicine) which has inspired me to live thoughtfully with my choices but by no means from a judgemental perspective. I like things natural. I also like things funny. I've moved from Castlemaine to Melbourne (originally from Melbourne) and hoping to find an enjoyable and friendly space for myself and Bella, my 8 year old kelpie mix. She's very well trained indoors and very socialised. Everyone loves her (or is that just me).
ONLY AVAILABLE TO MOVE IN FROM SEPTEMBER 28-29TH Hey, we are a Canadian couple looking for house in Darebin area or around. Basically, we are looking for a spacious room in a sunny house with chill housemates. We had lots of experiences in sharehouses wich makes us, i think, pretty good housemates eheh. We are both working Monday to Friday. We love to cook so youll probably see us in the kitchen the most often. if the house has a garden, that would be really great. We are also looking for a pet friendly house. As we are traveling, there is no way we could adopt a dog or a cat, but we would be really interested in having a foster dog\cat for the time we will be there. It helps an animal to find a home and its gonna makes us happy to have a furry animal to pet. If not, my girlfriend should survive. We are music, beer and wine lovers, no surprise i guess. we both have cars, so its essentiel that we can park on the street or somewhere near. The reason we are not ready to move in now is that we will be in Vietnam from August 24th to September 27th. Anyway, let us know what you got, we really hope to find the vibe we are looking for. Cheers
I like bread, I like pretty lights and I'm a fan of all animal pals. I work at a design firm and am studying architecture(though I'm taking a break at the moment). I like wacky movies and groovy tunes, cook frequently and clean up after myself. Occassionally makes things in the installation realm. Gimme a msg if you hav a potential abode:))
Hi friends :) I'm Alice. I'm 28. Currently working full time in textiles and I have my own womenswear fashion business on the side. I love cooking and food, animals, movies, yoga, the beach, crystals, astrology and fashion. I try to practice meditation everyday. I have a fur baby cat who's name is Luna. He loves a cuddle and loves being in the garden. I'm looking to move in with one or maybe two other like minded peeps. I have plenty of furniture so looking to team up with someone to find our own place to make super cosy and awesome, or move into an existing share house and make some great new friends. Love to socialise but not a huge party person. I'm clean and tidy but not over the top about it. I'm respectful of others time and space :)
I am easy going, clean, tidy, respectful, friendly and happy
Hello. My neme is AI from Japan.I am looking for a room.I like tidy and quiet and clean room.I wanto to relax at home and study English.I study english on weekday and I am working for resturant on weekend.
Hiya, I'm moving to Melbourne from Perth to come study Interior Design at RMIT Uni. ideally, looking for my own small unit ...partly furnished with white goods would be even better! Will also consider house shares but no room shares. Up to $250pw is what id be looking at spending (ahh the life of a student) I'm 34 years old, so my partying days are quite behind me. Much prefer quiet nights in reading, listening to music- huuuuge music lover...though don't ask me what i listen to because i have a huge range of tastes ranging from ska, rocksteady, Old R&B, rockabilly, to old funky hip hop and old school metal... coming from a family with musicians i was always taught to keep my music tastes open! Love watching documentaries- mainly true crime, paranormal, Nat Geo, and environmental. Drinking tea, health & wellbeing, Kmart, aromatherapy, cooking up a storm, drawing and potting plants makes me happy...but then so does the occasional social drink and going out to a good gig and dinner with friends from time to time. I would consider myself highly respectful of others ,easy to get along with and very clean and tidy. Though i'am quite a private person, i get along with all walks of life. Please feel free to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
A brown Bangladeshi girl who is fun loving and hates to stay messy. Studying at La Trobe, Bachelor of IT
We're returning from living in Switzerland in April 2018 - looking for a place that could become available around then. Dylan is a social worker originally from Adelaide and Ezgi is studying a Masters in Construction Management at Melbourne Uni. We're both pretty easy going - enjoy our own space, but also enjoy a casual drink. Dylan loves cooking and we love good food. We enjoy travelling, weekends away camping and both volunteer as Scout leaders in our spare time. By the way, the dog in the picture isn't ours!
