Roisin and Jarrad

Hi, we’re Jarrad and Ro. Both from Aus. We’ve been together since 2021 and recently moved down from Cairns, after living there for the last year. Before that we were working on a superyacht based at Hamilton Island. Before that, we spent several seasons on expedition vessels in the Antarctic and Arctic.
Jarrad will be studying this year while also freelancing as a skipper on yachts in Sydney and Ro works as a freelance wedding photographer but primarily as a stewardess or deckhand on yachts, which means I’ll be away on rotation sometimes.

About us:

Ro: loves the outdoors, hiking, nature and all that kind of stuff. She loves running and ran her first half marathon this year. Obviously a fan of photography, and watching F1, loves a cheese board and crispy wine and getting dressed up all nice. Big into music, wanna-be cowgirl and nags Jarrad about buying her a farm almost daily. 

Jarrad: Having worked abroad for the last decade minus and has travelled a great deal of planet earth. Loves an adventure above all else. He was captain on an expedition boat in Antarctica the last 5 years. He's a dive instructor and obviously loves the ocean. Wildlife photographer. Loves a social beer or two. He can also fix just about anything and has a trade as a fitter and turner. 

We’re tidy, organised, and respectful, and we take care of any space we live in. We’re looking for somewhere for at least a year around Bondi Junction area as Jarrad will undertake his part time studies come February. We would love to move in asap, but definitely wanting to find the right situation as living with people you get along with makes for a much happier experience all round. Would love to live with like-minded people who share similar hobbies and are social like us but also know when it's quiet/personal time.

Alternatively we would love our own space if the right property comes along.
