Hi, I'm Cameron.
I'm a mechanical engineer permanently relocating to Perth to join my company's WA branch after moving from Mackay. It's a big change of scenery, but I'm used to travelling regularly for work. In my new role I'll typically spend around one week each month away on mine sites, so I'll often be out of the house.
A bit about me:
• I'm into fitness and spend most afternoons either at the gym or out running. I used to compete in powerlifting and generally live a healthy lifestyle, although I still enjoy a few beers with friends from time to time.
• I love the outdoors and am keen to explore WA, especially up and down the coast in my Hilux. There's a good chance I won't be home most weekends.
• I'm easy-going, respectful, clean, and get along well with all types of people. I enjoy having a chat with housemates but also respect everyone's personal space.
One thing worth mentioning is that I don't have a traditional rental history. I bought my first home just before turning 18 and currently own four investment properties, so I've never needed to rent myself. On the flip side, I understand what it's like to be a landlord and the importance of looking after a property, paying rent on time, and being considerate of the people you live with.
I've also shared houses before and rented rooms out to plenty of people over the years, so I'm very comfortable living with others and contributing to a positive household environment.
Ideally, I'm looking for:
• My own bathroom (not essential, but preferred)
• A parking space for my Hilux (doesn't need to be undercover)
• Easy-going housemates who are friendly and enjoy a good living environment
Feel free to reach out if you think I'd be a good fit.
Cheers!
