Thought I’d put the feelers out for a new place as I’m currently living on the coast but I work in Brisbane so am commuting.

About me: I am a 26 y/o female, working as a full-time Registered Nurse. I work 12 hour shifts - 5 days / fortnight. I work night shifts, usually at least 1/2 per fortnight, which means I require a quiet space during the days I am sleeping. I also pick up casual shifts, working for the NDIS so I do work a lot, but I am a homebody otherwise. I love pilates, yoga, reading, walking, op shopping, cooking, baking, hosting dinner parties and pottery. I do not have much social network within Brisbane yet, hoping for that to change once I move.

What I’m looking for:

Suburbs: New Farm is my number 1 location. Otherwise, Kelvin Grove , Paddington, Teneriffe, Wilston Village, Ashgrove, West End, Highgate hill. I do not know Brisbane very well, these suburbs have either been suggested to me or I have visited them and liked the vibe. So definitely open to suggestions.

I am a shift worker ~ Ideally, I am looking to live with somebody who also does full time shift work. 9-5 in the office is okay, probably not WFH.

24 - 30 y/o female. Obviously flexible with this, mostly just looking for someone in a similar stage of life as me, who I vibe with, so in whatever form that comes, I am happy with.

Happy to pay up to $350 / week - $700 each.
2 bedroom, 2 bathroom.
Carspaces: Assuming you have a car - 2 ideally (seems hard to come by in Brisbane). 1 is okay, so long as you would be happy to alternate 1 week on, 1 week off. That way neither of us have to pay more rent.

Hoping to find a complex with a gym and pool - not sure if this will be possible with the budget I have set though.

I have attached some photos of my vibe. I am looking for a place to call home and feel settled in for at least 12 months. It would be nice to find someone that aligns with me and we can create a nice place together.

There is zero urgency to this for me, so I am looking to find someone in a similar situation who is just wanting to take the time with inspections and find the perfect place :) Looking to move around June / July.
