I am quite, tidy, respectful, have a sense of humour and enjoy good conversation. I enjoy music, books and cinema; everything from the latest Marvel blockbuster to indie arthouse. I am a bit of a nerd so comics and sci-fi are my thing but I'm also interested in a few sports. I take everyone as I find them and don't care your race, sexual orientation etc., it's all fine by me.
I am currently working and studying full-time - looking to move closer to the city so it's not such a commute to UQ. I'm always super super busy but when I have down time I love to relax with some Netflix and a few drinks out or at home. I'm not incredibly fussy on who I live with, I just want people that are respectful of each others things and can keep the place clean without nagging. BONUS: I already own communal things like a super large fridge and TV as well as a small dining set and futon.
Im social and love being part of local activities, looking for a flat mate who is similar. I am looking to share a place, because i enjoy living with a friend more than living on my own. I am a full time (australian) interior designer working in Brisbane. I have just returned from a month travel overseas and am looking for somewhere to settle. I have a small and very cute dog, so a courtyard or small back yard in a must. I am also looking for a place with a shed/garage that i can create a studio for woodworking projects and painting. Non smoking please. I like to be out doing things so am often out of the house during the week. I love to cook and have friends over for (small) dinner parties. Hiking, kyaking, painting, design, coffee and great food are just some of the things i enjoy. If it sounds like we might get along i would love to hear from you. I have a couple of weeks left on my current lease but am looking to find the right place asap. Alisa
Hello, hello my name is Brooke! 👋 I’m a little old lady at heart disguised as my 20yr old self. I love my tea, not much of a drinker, I like being social but I’m also a bit of a introvert so I do appreciate my down time and in I’m general crazy cat lady. I have a beautiful senior kitty with me named Angel she’s been my fur baby since I was 6/7 and is honestly my little shadow. She has a great temperament and loves lots of pats. For the last 3 years I have been living and breathing coffee as a barista! I work as a casual but tend to do part time to full time hours. I’m an artist as well, mainly as a hobby because I love drawing, but I’m slowly trying to grow in this field! I’m a very clean, quiet and considerate of others kind of person. I’m also a big geek who’s really into anime/manga and cosplay so yeah, I’m always down for chats on that stuff! Preferably I’d like to be somewhere within 15mins or so walking distance of a train station, I don’t drive and much prefer catching trains rather then buses. *** Please only message me if pets are definitely okay! And your are offering a private unfurnished room. Thank you!
Hi Everyone, I'm a Sunny Coast guy working in Brisbane Monday to Friday. Aside from work I spend most of my time training somewhere either on the river or running the streets somewhere. I'm easy going like all types of music, like to cook like a few drinks and enjoy being social but no party person. I like tidy in shared spaces and being surrounded by respectful fun people. You will not see me most weekends as I have a home on the Sunny Coast and I love to surf. If you think i have a place that you might think i might be interested in please do not hesitate to contact me but if your house is on a main road or on a railway line that will not be of interest to me. Thanks
I'm a very social person always down for a laugh, chat and a couple of beers. I currently live at home with my parents but am looking to move out so I can become more independent and live in a more convenient area 😊 I currently work at the pig and whistle in the city and am studying a bachelor of games and interactive environments at QUT. In my spare time I like world building for D&D campaigns, playing games or listening to music.
I am moving from a small coastal town about 4 hours north of Brisbane for work. I am an active surf life saver and enjoy the outdoors, socialising and the odd beer here and there. I have lived in share houses for about 5 years with only a handful of different housemates in only 2 separate properties. It is always good to have someone to come home to and have a chat with, be able to socialise with but I also understand that from time to time people need their own space and some peace and quiet. Some might say that I have slight OCD tendencies, I like to think of it as common courtesy when it comes to keeping things (especially communal areas) neat, tide and clean.
Do you want a housemate who love cooking, cleaning and score an adorable doggo?! I'm the flatmate for you then! I have been nannying for the same family in Woolloongabba for the past two and a half years and am a dedicated full-time social work student. I like to generally keep to myself during with week but enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine with my roomies. My furbaby is a small Cockalier named Seb, he is extremely well behaved and will soon be an accredited therapy dog so he is fully house trained and loves people and other dogs (he likes to be in the garden during the day so backyard is essential). I am happy to live with people who like to do their own thing or come along to markets, do yoga etc, I am easy going. If you want an adorable pup and clean and tidy housemate - I look forward to meeting you!
Hello! I work full time in retail in a few health food stores averaging 6 days a week. Work keeps my schedule pretty busy so I'm really just looking for a place that is comfortable to come home to. In my own time I am interested in chilling out with music or movies, natural health, consciousness, star-gazing and relaxing or catching up with friends. I come with a cute ginger house-trained cat, teddy, who chills out in the sun whenever he can. I am flexible on time frames as I really just want to find a place and vibe I love. Hit me up if I seem like a good fit 😊
I’m a quiet person to live with but I am easy to get along with, enjoy a good chat. I will be working full time so I will be out of the house the majority of the week. On weekends I enjoy going for a few social drinks or doing activities, hiking, beach, road trip etc.
I'm an accountable and nice person, very quite a respectful with everyone.
Hello potential housemates. I have been share housing for over a decade so I am familiar with the ins/outs of sharing a space and I consider myself to be clean, organised and respectful. I work full time as a GPR technician and when not adulting I am busy working on personal projects or keeping active. My extra curricular activities include climbing, camping, chillin, exploring the East Coast, reading, fitness, researching and mind/body health. I would consider myself an Ambivert, I am social but also enjoy my downtime so I am pretty quiet during the week. Looking for a relaxed atmosphere to call home :) Thanks for reading and I hope to see you soon.
We are two German girls aged 18 on working holiday. We are friendly and clean and are looking for an accommodation. We are planning to stay for three months in Brisbane. Non smokers, easy-going. Looking forwad to hear from you. Cheers, Isi and Kimi
Hi, I'm Jay! I'm currently a medical student at UQ. I'm very relaxed, always keen for a chat, love a coffee, and I'm always down for some quiet drinks at the end of the week. I'm very clean, not a partier, and I enjoy cooking. I spend a reasonable amount of time studying, so I'm a pretty quiet roommate. I'm pretty flexible as far as when I need to move. It'd be early January as I'm going to be overseas. I have a bit of furniture so a team up would be great (plus I wouldn’t be able to move into a furnished room). Give me a shout if you're interested in finding a place or what-not.
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, design student. I like dark British comedy, murder mysteries with a plot, and easy going people. I can cook, and tidy and clean a bathroom, but I hate to take bins out. (Better with dishes) - Looking for chill friendly, maybe arty people :) and a $210pw max room, bills included if I can find it, and the bigger the better as I am a designer + artist and need space, with some window light for my indoor plants and the art :D Looking for a longer term stay somewhere fairly central and more south. Let me know if you think I should be looking at your add! Cheers, Holly
I work full-time in media 5 days a week. I am looking to live with friendly people in a nice environment in around Brisbane CBD. I have lived in shared accommodation before. I like to keep clean and I ensure I am always respectful of others (hope you do too). I love the beach, so during the warmer weekends... that's where I'll be! I look forward to catching up with you
Hello! I am looking to live with people who want to spiritually grow, where I can collaborate with and grow with the people I am living with. A warm nurturing household is what I am looking for. I am looking to live with mostly women, but this doesn't have to be entirely. I would like to live with people I can connect with who are like-minded, and enjoy sharing ideas, but also respect each other's need for privacy. I love meeting new people, love communicating and getting to know the people I live with. I enjoy exploring into the wild a lot and am very artistic, musical and interested in emotional expression and wellbeing so I am studying psychology and anthropology as a second degree which I hope to combine with alternative therapies to help people in a holistic way. I have traveled, and love meeting people from all over the world. I am clean, a non-smoker, health conscious, yoga, and a meditation girl. I am looking for a warm mature household where honest communication is high, and we are all willing to have a chat, collaborate and share meals from time to time, but also to respect each others space. :) If I sound like someone you want to live with, please contact me! Thank You! Anna.
I'm your average twenty something lady. I work Monday - Friday as a Barista so I am a 4-4:30am riser. I am however extremely quiet and respectful of others in the morning. I also have breakfast at work so you don't have to worry about kitchen noise or mess. I'm sometimes social and sometimes like my own space, I sometimes drink and sometimes don't. I am a tidy and clean person and very much appreciate a tidy and clean home. I have a 2yr Maltese Shih tzu, Midda. He is a handsome little white prince. He sleeps on my bed and is an inside and outside dog. He is a weirdo :) loves to play, cuddle and chill. I am not 100% on a date however I am extremely flexible. I would prefer to be close to South Brisbane where I work but am open to other locations. Looking for 6 months+ as long as the fit is right and the vibes are good. Chat soon x
I'm 23, currently living in Melbourne and looking to move up to Brissy on 1st November. (or late Oct) - because of this I can't really be in person for an inspection, but I'm more than happy to facetime or get pics of a house. Looking to move anywhere in the Brisbane area, I've got my own car so not too picky about suburbs. I usually keep to myself and occasionally hang out with friends on weekends, so looking for some relaxed, easy-going housemates to move in or team up with. I'm quiet and decently tidy, non-smoker and ok living with pets. Ideally looking for a place with good internet close to a bus station and some kind of supermarket. Extra bits because I don't know how to talk about myself: -Plays too many videogames -Might be addicted to Pepsi -Degree in IT -Pisces, INFP -Wants to hang fairy lights everywhere
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you! Note: My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently researching in China but will be back in Brissie from October 15th
I’m 25 and work full-time at law firm in the city. I’m social and bubbly, very clean and reasonably easy going. Monday - Friday I'm out of the house by 5am for gym so mostly have quiet nights during the week and weekends I’m usually pretty busy or down the coast when I can. I'm always down for a chat or to binge some trash TV but also do like my own space and to do my own thing. I’m looking for a room to rent in an apartment not too far from the city. I prefer to live with just 1 or max 2 others. I have 0 kids, 0 pets and do not smoke. I do have a car but don’t mind parking on the street.
I have been renting for 2yrs. I'm clean and friendly. I play water polo and guitar. I graduated school in 2014 and worked/travelled in and around the UK in 2015. I have been studying prephysio (2016-mid2018) on the Gold Coast for the last few year but recently moved up to Brisbane in July to study Engineering (Medical/Mechatronic) at QUT. I'm looking for a household of 2nd/3rd year students (preferably eng) that have similar interests. I like to have a good time but respect peoples space around assessment times.
