Looking for 1-2 girls to join us in finding a 3-4 bedroom place. We're both in our final year of study doing Graphic design, we work part time, are quite social & enjoy having a few drinks on the weekend, but enjoy our own time too. We also have a 1 year old cat called Lenni!
My name's Cameron. I'm a friendly, slightly eccentric ESL teacher. I like music, books, movies, studying Spanish and ocassionally performing at open mics. I'm looking for somewhere to call home for the next 9 months or so. I'm usually pretty quiet and I always do my dishes :) Please give me a yell if you'd like to know more about me.
Not a party one. But i do think that i need a bit of it. Quiet. From Mexico, got my residency last year. I work in the morning and afternoon. Sometimes i am away for the weekends as i do look after 4 kids. Keep me pretty busy or sometimes i just hang at home watching something. Love play videogames. Like cider and wine, also beer. No much of a drinker though. Going through a break up of 4years relationship. I am shy at the beginning. I am very easygoing. Clean and tidy is a must. I dont cook. And if i cook the kitchen would be a mess. (Clean it up later of course). Respect is a must. :)
I've been living in share houses for a while, so I am really respectful of others and boundaries. I keep the house neat and have a busy schedule with work and university, so I'm out a fair bit. I also enjoy quiet drink at somewhere with a chilled atmosphere. When studying or working, I'm usually reading, playing games or going to the gym. Recently I've been living with my partner, but she's moving back in with her Dad, so I'm looking for a new place to live for the foreseable future.
Hey! I'm moving from Adelaide to Brisbane and am looking for someone to team up with for a place. I'm 28, easy going and friendly. I'm looking for someone that's chilled, tidy and friendly. I love music, animals, travel and reading. Looking to create a comfy little oasis x https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-qld-new+farm-426268910 https://www.domain.com.au/3-17-rosary-crescent-highgate-hill-qld-4101-12985669 This is the sort of vibe I'm thinking! Half in rent, half in bond : )
Hi, I'm Peter, a product design engineer, who's moved back to Brisbane. I’m open, easy to live with, and can be fun. I’m also clean, very understanding and respectful of others, their space, and quiet time. Well travelled, educated, secure, and was born in this City. I’d like to share in a nice place that feels like a home, with someone that’s not just a flatmate, but also a good friend. You must be female, it’s harmonious that way. If you would like to find a home together, or have a place, and feel we may suit, let me know. In Brisbane I’ll have No family, No partner, No children, No ruckus mates. I don't have any pets, but love animals, and don't mind if you do. Yours Peter
I´m a UQ Master Student. I´m looking for a private room with own bathroom, close (walking distance) to the bus stop to take me to Uni in Sta Lucia and preferably walking distance to the city and supermarkets. I´m pretty social and respectful, I love a good chat with a cup of wine, watching a movie, going out. I would like to move in on July 15th but I can consider early move in.
So let's start off with with my most noteable trait which is I'm a nerd. I love D&D (If you know that is, maybe we can start a game), I spend majority of my time on my computer. But as much of a shut in as I can be, If you get to know me I'm quite friendly and sometimes talkative. I do currently have a partner but she has her own living arrangements. (Just hope your ok with her visiting.) Also if you worried about finding someone who is slack with getting money on time, don't worry about that with me. (I hate the thought having to be in debt to someone.) Although yes I'm on Centerlink as long as I don't get stuffed up, I'm always on time. For future plans (if you're interested) atm I'm looking for work. But considering studying game and graphic design at South Bank. Honestly not much more beyond that, just trying to get sorted. Looking for people who can accept me, have a least a bit of a sense of humor (if you couldn't tell by now) and of course, nice and reliable. (Would be amazing to find a fellow nerd, but fret not if aren't. A place to live, is a place to live, no the less)
I am currently a psych student at QUT and work part-time as a support worker and receptionist as a psych clinic. Currently looking for a house with flatmates who want to socialise but who are also respectful of privacy
My name is Leilli and I am in my final year of a music degree. Elliot is a geography and business graduate who has been travelling Australia on a working holiday visa. We are now looking for somewhere to live whilst we save for our next travel adventure when I finish my degree. Elliot will be working full time and I will be studying and working as much as possible, so we won’t be around the house all that much. We are very tidy and respectful housemates, and are certainly not party animals, but love to socialise and would prefer housemates that we could be friends with as well. We have both lived in shared accomodation before and know the importance of cleaning up after yourselves, respecting housemates schedules/controlling noise levels and being friendly. I am from Brisbane and Elliot is English, but we’re just moving back to Brisbane after living in Melbourne so far this year. We would love to be your new house mates :)
We're two gals who are looking for a third person to move into a place toward the end of April/beginning May. We're both in our early 20's, and one of us is a student studying at UQ (both of us working as well). We're pretty easy going and can enjoy a good netflix binge but also don't mind getting a lil down and dirty some nights. Ideally we're looking for someone we can be friends with but will also respect the fact that sometimes we'll want to retreat into our room and have some quiet time. One of us is vegan, and the other is vegetarian and we'd love if our other roomie could have a similar diet, but we're obviously not opposed to living with a meat eater as long as you're respectful toward our choices (and vice versa of course). Preferably looking at places around Annerley, Greenslopes, Coorparoo, West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park , Paddington, Auchenflower, Toowong, Indooroopilly, St Lucia (basically anywhere close enough to the city/UQ so that it isn't a mission and a half to get to places) Would prefer to be paying 150-165 p/w but willing to go to 175 (but not really)
hey hey hey I'm looking for a sweet place to call home and flatmates to have some beers, philosophise about how life sucks and also how life is pretty fucking awesome! I work with hospitality (so sometimes I can early bird and sometimes late night bat), I also work at pretty awesome festivals (Woodford previously and now The Planting). I would love to share craft skills, some yummys and beautiful moments in my next home. Thank you Gracias Obrigada :) Isa
Hey there! I'm Dutch who's living and working in Brisbane for two months now. Already living in Brisbane, on the hunt for a new place to stay. I'm very easy going and social. I love to watch movies, play board games and sharing meals (and wines) together (i've been told a few times that I'm a good cook). I'm a vegan, but I feel very comfortable with other people eating meat. Everything should eat whatever they want to eat. So that doesn't have to be an issue :) I'm clean, tidy and have a lot of experience with sharing houses. When I'm making use of the shared rooms I always try to be considerate towards my other house mates. Cleaning up after me is only a natural thing to do for me and I would appreciate if my housemates do the same.
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28, currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house is appealing:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
Hey! I've been living in West End for the last 3.5 years and absolutely love the suburb, hitting the Davies Park markets on weekends and being close to the river walk. In my spare time I'm into podcasts, op-shopping, cups of tea and the gym. I'm currently studying my Masters of Organisational Psychology at UQ. I've taken Semester 1 off study because of increased work commitments, but am looking forward to getting back into it in Semester 2. I also work part-time job at a state sporting organisation and travel on average every second weekend with work. I consider myself a pretty easy-going and positive person and I really value a friendly and considerate home vibe. I enjoy being social and hanging out with my housemates, but I'm looking for a relaxed home as opposed to a party-house. I'm a housemate who cleans up after myself, and I'm reliable with the communal cleaning and bills. I'm looking for somewhere to call home for at least 12 months. My ideal move date is June 12th, but I am happy to move in early June for the right spot. I'm looking for rooms in West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park, Yeronga or Coorparoo. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a language and IR student who works part-time with kids. I'm tidy and independent, and have lived overseas in homestays/share houses/ with friends before. I'm fairly extroverted and like to socialize, but I'm also happy to have space/give other people space too. I like reading, writing, painting and exercising. I'm a light drinker, non-smoker and otherwise clean-cut. I love animals but don't have any. I'm looking for roommate(s) who are likewise friendly and independent - if you're a student (especially postgrad) that would be a definite bonus!
Hello potential roomies, I’m a 29 year old female Canadian in Brisbane on a working holiday. Planning on staying in Brissie for 6 months, perhaps longer. Would love to find roomies that want to socialize, perhaps who are also into outdoor activities. I’m always down for an adventure! At home, I enjoy chill times but also hangs with bevies. Like to cook and bake too. Feel free to message me if you think we’d jive. :)
I am easy going, I like to have fun and socialise. I am clean, considerate and quiet. I enjoy music, travel, art and plants. I work full time at a plant nursery on the Northside, which I love! I grew up in Shorncliffe and my parents still live in the area.. I’m keen to live in a sharehouse with relaxed vibes and people. Make new friends and go about the days with little drama. I keep it chill on school nights. Weekends I’m out and about and usually find myself at a gig or two. While I enjoy my own space, I’m also down for chats with a vino :)
I will be a full time MIB student at UQ in January 2020. I am looking for a 1/1, 2/2, or 3/3 with a private bathroom. Open to roommates. Wifi and utilities included. I love to surf, travel, explore and socialize. I will most likely be working part time when possible. I am from Texas, USA but grew up in South America (Brasill & Argentina.) I am very organized, respectful and clean.
Hey there I'm Stephmo (they/them pronouns). My housemate, Kavita, and I are moving to a bigger, better place to start a new sharehouse! (Current lease is up in the start of June). We are looking for one or two other people who wish to join us on this adventure to find a sweet new pad. Looking quite strictly in these areas: Kangaroo Point, West End, East Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, New Farm. I have a rescue dog, Jedda. She has issues with other animals so will have to be the solo doggo at this house. (Housemates will need to be onboard with having her around the house and preferably up for cuddles, often). We have basic house furniture and appliances including fridge and washing machine but happy for more to be brought along and we can make it work! Maintaining an eco-friendly household is essential (if you aren't interested in at least basic recycling, then this won't work). About me: Queer, non-binary, feminist, pro-choice, anti-racist, lefty. I'm an adult who is pretty good at adulting, even though it's hard. I can do the things, pay the bills, keep the cleans, you know the deal. I have an all-too-real phobia of dirty tea-towels and sponges. I built a campervan last year and dream of living in a bus one day. Camping trips & outdoor adventures are life. About Kavita: Kavita | She/Her/Hers A PhD-er, focussed on smart cities, gender and social justice, whose dream is to be colocated to the QUT Gardens-Point campus. Her weekdays are uni-intensive and weekends are magical adventures. She: makes the occasional cake and curry for 'family' dinners. Likes to secretly do too much---gigs, climbs, poetry, meals, board games, hikes, beach, Brooklyn 99, bendy yoga, Handmaid's Tale, quiet lay-ins, tarot... We are both clean and tidy and want to live with people who prioritise this in the communal areas. I will remain 100% responsible for dog related things, aside from the aforementioned Jedda cuddles which are available 24/7. Kavita and I do enjoy our own space at times but keen for making real friendships with housemates who enjoy chats and the occasional drink/meal together! We both enjoy a quiet, peaceful household - definitely not a party place! If you think you'd be the right fit, send us a message!

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a nice place to settle in, preferably with lots of plants and books and a yard. I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but stoked to move back to brisbane now (I'm originally from currumbin but studied in brissy for years). I'm a professional editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll be doing volunteer charity work as well and various other things like camping, biking, hiking, traveling, etc. I clean up after myself without being asked, keep to myself a bit for most of the day but always up for a good chat over a coffee and keen for a community feel (i.e. house dinners, housemate picnics, whatever). 28, non-smoker, non-annoying. LGBTI+ friendly and all the good non-bigotted stuff. Cheers :)
