I'm an international student from Nuremberg, Germany. I am studying computer science and I'll move to Brisbane in February. I am looking for an accomodation, meeting new people and discovering new cultures. I love traveling
Hi I’m Peter, I’m a product design engineer, and back in Brisbane. I’m friendly, easy going, considerate, and very clean. Understanding and respectful of others, their space, and quiet time. Well travelled, educated, and secure. I’d like to share with a female / females, that I’d get along with really well as flatmates, and friends. In Brisbane I’ll have a car, but No family, No partner, No children, No pets, No ruckus mates. I can be a lot of fun to live with. Any questions, just ask me, anything. All the best, Peter
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and responsible and ideally looking for social housemates as I don't know anyone in Brisbane other than work people. I am fun, outgoing and love to get out and about. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. Paying my rent on time each week is no problem at all but I have limited savings so cant afford to pay 4 weeks rent as a bond but could do 2 weeks bond. Looking to live with people that are chilled like myself and able to look after themselves and don't mind a drink at the pub occasionally. Would prefer not to live with students, unemployed, couples and definitely no crazy cat ladies thanks! I am ideally after a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe where I don't have to pay to park my car outside the house but can be flexible for the right place and right flatmates.
I’m an international PhD student from Manchester working at the Princess Alexandra hospital. I’ll be moving to Brisbane in April and have temporary lodging at a friends until I find a new place of my own. When I’m not working I love getting out and about in the sun since we never see it in the UK, boxing and reading.
I work full time and study as well, looking to live with just one or two people. I like being friends with the people i live with but also respect privacy and need my own study time as well. I am tidy, enjoy the occasional night out, movie nights in, beach and hiking adventures. Happy to team up and find a place!
A little about me....I am a full-time shift worker in healthcare, currently living on the Southside and looking at moving closer to the city/outer suburbs. I would consider myself clean and respectful of other housemates. Love to share a qual meal every now and then. I enjoy cooking and riding my moto. Chilled dude, always up for a chat and a cheeky bev! +ve vibes around. Looking for a room with preferably aircon/fan and large enough to accommodate a queen sized bed + desk, off-street parking and a lease longer than 6 months.
I’m a student nurse who enjoys cooking, hanging with friends, going to the markets and being active. I love a good beer and chat but am a busy bee with Uni and part time work. I’m clean and respectful and have a lot of experience living out of home.
Hey! I am 22 year old post graduate student at UQ studying International Relations. I work part time as a music teacher at various childcare centres around Brisbane so I love children and music! I am pretty balanced in terms of socialising yet keeping to myself for needed down time. I work most mornings so I will be gone relatively early and then normally go straight to uni or home to go back to sleep! I am looking for an all female place to stay in that is relatively close to UQ. I'd also be up for finding a place with a couple of others.
I'm sociable and easy going, but still enjoy my study/down time. I'm looking for an open, comfortable home, with an outdoor entertaining space, and preferably located within walking distance of a park or the river, as I love going for walks and picnics. My lease at my current place ends early February 2019, but I am happy to break lease if I find something perfect before then.
About me: I'm 23yo, currently woking in government in the CBD. I enjoy cooking, music, cycling and the out doors. I'm looking for a room in share house, preferrably with a few others. Always up for a cup of tea or shared meal, but can also keep to myself. I am not a smoker, and I keep quite regular hours. Looking forward to meeting you, Joe
Looking for a peaceful place to call home. About us: We enjoy cooking healthily with fresh produce, going to markets and exercising. Hanna works full-time FIFO in mental health. Sharna works full-time as a Remedial Massage Therapist. We are a couple who try to be environmentally conscious and we love animals. The Dream: Living close to the water, public transport and local parks. Being in a social house of people with similar interests. Would love to have a spare/shared room for recreational activities and study (craft, art, painting, and potentially for S to set up a massage room). We would love to get a dog if there is a yard, or would be very happy to live with your dog! Necessary: LGBTI+ friendly. Own ensuite. Large bedroom. Spacious full-functional kitchen and inviting living areas. House with large fridge and washing machine. Unfortunately Hanna is very allergic to cats. Open to signing a lease, living in an independent house, joining an established share house, or creating our own share house. We have one car, bedroom furniture, and own linen and kitchen things (no large appliances). We don't drink often and are non-smokers.
Hey guys, My name's Sam - I'm 24, mainly tutoring (statistics/psychology) at UQ for the next year and I'll start med in 2016. I'm the Event Manager for an exchange student organisation in Brisbane (after spending two years on exchange in Germany), I love a bunch of random sports like Dodgeball and Parkour and am quite extroverted. I'm looking for a place that is pretty cheap (but still big enough for a double bed and desk) and is pretty social. Give me a yell if I sound like I'd fit in at your place!
NOTE: Please do not contact me in regards to shared rooms or student accomodation options as unfortunately this is not suitable for what I am after. Hey there! My name is Georgia and I am 22 years old. I have lived around Brisbane's beautiful city for 4 years now and loved every minute of it, living in Spring Hill and working at the International Airport most recently for roughly around the past 6 months. My interests include fashion, music, travel, food!, science, technology, the environment, interior design and so on. I would love to find a house of fun, friendly & respectful people to join and hang out with for at least the next 6 months, somewhere still within close reach of the CBD and public transport. I take pride/time in caring for all my belongings and I am very clean so obviously it would be nice to be sharing with like minded people. I am looking to move virtually anytime from now so if I sound like a may be a good fit for your place please don't hesitate to send me a message. I own some of my own furniture which I will most likely store or sell assuming the house I move into is furnished although I do have a massive beautiful brand new lounge & wooden buffet unit I will not part with and will have to find a solution to storing if I cannot bring them. Thanks!
I've just finished my first year of uni studying design and am looking to move before the start of next semester. I am currently working part time both as a waitress and a nanny and am planning to move to England mid next year to study so only looking to move in for the 6ish months before I leave. I'm easy-going, friendly and tidy. I spend most of my time socialising, working on art projects and volunteering at festivals.
I'm starting Engineering at UQ St Lucia in February and am looking for someone to share accommodation with. I'm moving down from the Sunshine Coast. I'm vegetarian, down to earth, partially quite (but very friendly, especially to those I get to know!), and love being outdoors! I also enjoy watching shows and gaming. Looking for a place to stay that is affordable and won't break my budget! (Hopefully a place close to uni if it exists on this earth!) I have a cockatiel, but no large pets.
Hi! I'm a 24 year old guy on an adventure to find a new place to live as the lease in my current place is finishing and I'd like a change of scene. I'm respectful, tolerant, clean, quiet, and try to be a good person in general. Have never missed paying the rent on time and always do my part with the house work. Also, I'm am currently working two jobs (one at a brewery) and studying at UQ. My hobbies include hiking, chats, casual gaming, Netflix binge watching occasionally, and reading. Please feel free to reach out and contact me if you think I might be a good fit for your place. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Hi everyone! Im looking for a place my partner and I could move into. We both work early mornings (out the door before 6am) and don't stay out past 9pm so we are looking for someone who can respect our sleeping patterns. Im outgoing and love having a chat but also understand each other's need for space. Not much of a party animal however enjoy the occasional cheese and wine (and beer!). We would like to keep common areas clean. We always pay our bills on time. We also LOVE pets so if you have one that is definitely a bonus! Please send me a message if you have a property I might be interested in (Or we could find one together?!) Thanks for your help :)
We're Kelsey and Jeremiah (Remi). We've been travelling around the last few years; NZ, India, Indonesia, Nepal and in Australia. We haven't settled down into a place for a while so excited to have a place to call home again. Kelsey's originally from Brisbane and Jeremiah worked and studied here before travelling. We're back in Brissy so Jeremiah can finish studies in Philosophy and Kelsey's hoping to study architecture, and we're both hoping to work a little too. We both love to cook and enjoy having a nice setting to live. We're not huge partiers or drinkers but we're pretty social and friendly. We recently bought our first ever car so we can get a little nature time, but we usually ride our bicycles around town. Kelsey's into yoga, and took up guitar this year, Jeremiah took up bass guitar. We like op shopping, going to markets, live music and hanging out with friends. We're looking for a nice blend of quiet place to retreat and people to hang with. It would be amazing to have somewhere to plant some herbs or veggies or help out in a garden. We're fond of animals but we don't have any of our own. We're respectful and communicative, reliable and clean.
I am looking for a fairly spacious double room in a house I can call home from early January (or even later). Ideally I would prefer to share with like-minded conscious people, who care about the environment to some extent (I am by no means perfect!) I am fairly sociable and laid-back, young at heart. I enjoy having friends around and I can certainly be chatty but I do like my quiet alone time and privacy. Bit of balance, really! I work (almost) full-time at UQ and I often have extra-curricular activities in the evening (yoga or other). During the week I am usually in bed a before 10pm. I do not watch commercial TV but I do enjoy a movie or 3! I am looking for somewhere fairly quiet (i.e. not on a main road) and well, reasonably clean yet relaxed. I am quite creative and I do enjoy painting so a space for that (even in the garage would be a bonus). I also enjoy cooking and having friends over for dinner once in a while. Ideally I would like somewhere that has ample extra storage (i.e. under the house) for my camping gear, bicycle and art stuff. A bit (or more) of yard is essential. I do enjoy a wee bit of gardening here and there when time allows and I like growing my own herbs. Pets are fine. Walking distance from UQ (up to 4kms) preferred but would consider further if it's the right place. I do have some furniture except a bed, so happy to negotiate with regards to such details.
