Hey How are you ? I'm Olivier, 27 years old, French I have been in Australia for more than 1 year. This is my second WHV I'm a nurse in France. After traveling for 1 year, I want to settle down in Brisbane because my girlfriend (Italian) has got a sponsorship in here. We've have planned to live together but that's not possible until August/ September. I'm looking for a place to share some moments with my flatmates and also having moments with my girlfriend. I mean, I would like to get the possibility her to come over the apartment / house at least once/twice a week :). I work as a Waiter/Barista in new Farm I have a car. I'm clean, respectful and easy going. Surfing is my passion. I also like going to the Gym. Look forward to hearing from you guys.
Hello, My name is Renan and I am 27 years old. I have been accepted in an international business program in Brisbane and because of that I am looking for a place to stay in the city, preferably not too far from CBD. I don't smoke, I am travelling alone and I consider myself to be a friendly and sociable person. I had the privilege to study abroad in the UK during the first semester of 2008 so this will not be my first time sharing an accommodation. Please, feel free to contact me.
I'm Korean-Canadian, a second year UQ student looking for a clean, quiet room in South Brisbane/West End/Dutton Park/Stones Corner neighborhoods. I'm hoping to stay for 7 months from mid-April 2017 as I will be returning home for summer break in mid-November and return in January 2018 once again for school. I'm planning to move out of my current place because I want to find a place that is a bit cleaner. I'm in no way an obsessive cleaner, but I like to maintain a certain level of cleanliness to avoid cockroach infestations :)
My name is Mohanan and I was born in Fiji but I grew up here in Brisbane. I'm currently studying at the PA hospital. I'm nice and easy going. I like to have a drink and socialise on the weekends and usually chill out and relax during the week after uni. Cheers Mohanan
I keept to myslef, i like spending time with people of my age. I go out and have fun but it's very controlled (not a party freaky). I enjoy reading most of the time. I'm all round fun to have around. I clean after myself and have respect for people
I work full time as an environmental scientist for the Government. Originally from the Gold Coast. I am extroverted and personable, clean, quiet and a super good chef! I enjoy travelling, photography and pretty much any activity that gets me out of the house. I am down to earth and always up for a chat!
Hi! We are Keely and Erick. Just a fun couple who love travelling and adventures. Keely is Australian and Erick is Canadian. We're relocating to Brisbane in May and looking for full time work. Erick is a qualified chef and Keely generally works in retail or cafe's. As a couple we're respectful of people's space, but also love a good chat with a beer or two. Both love music, we're neat and tidy and we've lived in share houses in Canada so we know how they work. We love animals, so if you have pets, that's fine with us too! Hit us up if you've got a place or if you want to team up.
Returning to Brisbane after traveling for 4 months 😊 I work full time at Pancake Manor (can definitely bribe you with the promise of free pancakes) and will return to uni at some stage studying psychology. I am quite social, but I also enjoy locking myself away for a week long Netflix binge.
Hi folks! My name is Simon and I'm looking to rent a room on a short-term basis from early April until the end of May (I can be flexible with the exact dates if need be). I'm a friendly, considerate, non-smoking 36 year old professional (and online student!) who is about to move overseas to start my own business. I do a bit of driving for Uber in the evenings too, so I'll need a place to park my car (street parking is fine). I speak a few languages and am happy living in a multicultural house or apartment. I don't have any pets but I'm happy to live with people who do. If you have a bbq at your place I'm very happy to cook you up something awesome as well :-) I'm looking for something within a 10-15min drive of the CBD but I can be a bit flexible with that - my budget could be a little flexible for the right type of place too. I'll consider all types of accommodation as long as I have my own private room. Looking for a welcoming environment with no messy slobs or unnaturally obsessive neat-freaks; just nice, normal people. Happy to consider house-sitting as well. Hope to hear from you :-)
Hey! We are a couple of laid back full-time musicians. We spend a lot of our time at the family farm in the scenic rim where Alistar has a studio. We are clean, respectful and looking for a few lovely people to move in with! We also own a little border collie named Pearl! She is very, very sweet, obedient and house-trained.
Full time professional looking for an easy going respectful household with great mature-minded housemate/s near CBD I am very active, love fitness & outdoors, easy going & up for a good chat. I'm also pretty easy to live with as I take care of my environment, not a party person & prefer a quiet/relaxed home vibe. I'm very independent, also like being friends with whoever I share roof with as it makes life a lot easier. If it sounds like a good fit send me a msg and we'll go from there.
I'm a domestic student who recently moved up from Sydney to Brisbane to complete my Masters program at UQ. I'm pretty chill and open-minded to everything/anything. I understand and respect the privacy of those around me. I'm generally quite independent, but I don't mind relaxing and hanging out with other housemates from time to time. I like to keep my living household pretty clean and tidy, especially the kitchen and bathroom. I don't mind sharing common white goods around the house, as long as everyone is happy. Other than that, anything goes. Any questions feel free to message me! Cheers, Philip
Returned academic expat from the states on sabbatical looking for more of a home than a hostel, something that we all contribute to. The abbreviated lovechild of a dating profile and list of what should be obvious. “I”; - read a lot though tend not to be a homebody, - will probably will never sing for or at you, but maybe with you if you’re really bad at it. - am respectful*, house trained* and clean* but not at all anal unless in the lab, theatre or wearing a white coat. - work relatively normal - long hours in an incubator space. - think great conversation is like a dance that leaves everyone involved with a smile on their face. - Need my own space and always try to be mindful* of the space of others*. - enjoy fun and interesting banter over a drink preferably with, open minded*, empathic*, humble*, fun* and passionate people. - more often giving than needy, more measured* that reactionary. - give a sh1t about the world* and think about how to make it better. - can be interested in politics, science, sociology, music, technology and everything in-between. - am a total nerd in some respects, aspiring stylish zen monkey in others. - try to lead a healthy lifestyle with good food and exercise, riding, rock climbing, hiking, jogging regularly. - am a feminist guy and proud of it, though don’t evangelise so much as demonstrate with awareness that other views exist. “You”; - are self aware enough to laugh at yourself when things occasionally go awry, even then, you never take it out on others. - noticed each * and if they represented a bar, you wouldn’t stumble over too often. - don’t believe the illuminati are really in control of the world, seriously! - can be a grownup when you need to be but haven't forgotten how to be a kid. - struggle to empathise with views of the 45th US president, even when significantly intoxicated. If I could be what you’re looking for, it’d be cool to hear more about you. Troy
Hey guys, I'm easy going and down to earth also very clean and reliable. Working at Mater Hospital in Early Education Mon-Fri, also studying externally. Love to have beers, wine or go out on the weekend. Very social and friendly, I have traveled a fair amount overseas and also lived in Dubai. Looking for a cool place to live that is reasonably close to work. I own a car, so a car space or street parking would be a must. Lived in Brisbane for almost 4 years now originally from the sunny coast.
Howdy Folks! I'm 21 y.o male studying economics at uq though passions definitely lie elsewhere haha (playing music, watching flicks, reading books, spinning yarns) and yeah looking for a cool place to lay my head for the next 6 months - 1 year while I finish my degree. Peace, Albert
I'm clean (but not to the point of being OCD), don't smoke or party much (but love the occasional beer), and work in software full-time on weekdays and play social sports on most week nights. I can also play a mean game of Catan, among other board games. I'm sociable around the house, but know how to respect personal space as I'm quite the introvert myself. I know how to respect the belongings of others, and ask potential housemates to do the same.
Hi! My name's Tiani and I'm a full-time student at SouthBank TAFE. I'm a very friendly and open person and am always up for a good conversation! I enjoy doing yoga, painting/drawing and watching movies if I'm not eating or studying :). I'm generally a tidy person and I respect the privacy of others, as I found that very important. That being said, I'm very bubbly and I find happiness in making others happy! If I sound suitable for your place, please send me a message, I'd love to hear from you! Thank you :)
I am moving back to Brisbane from Sydney. I am really easy going and looking to move into a house with like minded people. I love to sit around to have a chat and live in a place where there is a sense of community, not just a bunch of people who happen to live int he same building. I don't mind the occasional shared meal and glass of wine. I am currently finalising a full time Marketing job in Milton. I am clean and respect the space of others. Unfortunately when leaving Sydney I had to leave my other 5 room mates behind, but we had a great house dynamic, and I am looking for something similar. If this sounds like something your house would be interested in, please contact me. Thanks Steph :)
I am a 35-years-old, Canadian. I am a very loyal, responsible, clean, respectful and sociable person to be around. I'm a marine biologist currently looking for a job. I love the outdoors, music, dancing and nature in general.
I have just accepted to cover a friend's lease until the 12th of May, so I am looking for a long-term room to move in after that date. I know it is very early to look for an house but I wiuld be happy to find a great match :-) I am a scientist and a life lover - currently enrolled full-time in a PhD project. I am Italian but I have been living in multiple countries, which, I think, has made me a very adaptable and respectful human being :-) . I have been in Brisbane for about two years now. After a bit of traveling (for work) I will soon need again a place to call "home". I have my own bed, so I am strictly looking for an unfurnished room -or for a room where the existing forniture (bed) can eventually be stored away. I can be extremely clean, and I am used to leave common spaces in an educate and tidy fashion. I am sociable, like beer, and from time to time, enjoy having a friend over for dinner or drinks. I would not oppose to parties, as long as they are organised with respect and consent. That said, I am generally quiet and enjoy my own space. When I am very busy I have my deep introvert time and can disappear in my office for some days. Ideally I am looking for a share-house with ither mature, open-minded people with a lively spirit. I am a keen surfer, and a regular swimmer. I also love fishing and camping in the weekend. I have a thing for fixing forniture and I am pretty good at growing tomatoes. I have a great relationship with pets, although I don't have the time to care about my own at this time of my life. Finally, I am queer, currently in a long-distance relationship with a beautiful Italian woman, who may visit once or twice a year (my gf usually visits for 20 days and we travel for most of the time :-) ). Please note: atm I am in the US and my phone does not receive. Message me here and we will meet upon my return in April. Cheers!
I am looking for a short term stay (probably 4 weeks) before relocating overseas. I work full-time in the city during the week. I’m looking to share with friendly flatmates. Let me know what day suits you so I pop over and check your place.
We are a down to earth couple currently chasing accommodation anywhere in Brisbane! Sam and I love a good chinwag and are originally kiwis who have been on the Sunshine Coast for the past few years. Iesha - currently in her first year of uni studying Criminology & Criminal Justice and works part time in retail Sam - works full time behind the bar at a restaurant on Eagle Street Pier Both of us are laid back and if you've got a decent Spotify playlist or can appreciate most genres then I guarantee we will all get along like a happy little family. If we aren't spending time with friends somewhere on the weekend then we'll most likely be out looking for a good eggs bene. We'd love to move into a house with someone/people who are willing to socialise with us and have a cheeky bevvie over dinner every now and then, but we definitely understand that you will get sick of our bad jokes so you may need a little space from time to time. Additionally, we're both really tidy people and don't want to live with a messy/lazy person. Overall, we're just two peas in a pod who are low maintenance, easy going and looking for a decent set of housemates to do fun stuff with (could range from showing you our cheeky spots up on the sunny coast one weekend to binge watching crime docos on netflix). Shoot us a message if we sound like great additions to your family! Look forward to hearing from anyone who managed to get to the end of this LONG ad! **looking for a place urgently now as our plan runs out and I'm a poor uni student who really doesn't want to pay my other arm for another paid plan to message new listings grr**
Hello, future flatmate! What I'm looking for: - No more than one person OR a couple. - En-suite room - Fast, reliable internet. -Clean, friendly, mature housemate(s). - Aircon - Zone 1 (Translink Zone 2017) About Me: I graduated from QUT with a Masters degree in IT Security last year. Unfortunately, my plan of going for a well-deserved break was halted by being offered a job before graduation. So now I get through my day planning my next great adventure :-) I work full time in a corporate environment. I like to come home to a calm and clean environment. I value my friends, privacy and comfortable living. I'm easy going, considerate, sociable, love my morning runs and bike rides (not on the same day of course). I'm looking for an alternate living arrangement since my current housemate and his partner are tieing the knot and starting a family.
I'm a down to earth, quirky chick who loves chilling out having a couple of drinks and chatting about random shit. I'm very honest, I like making people laugh especially when they've had a bad day. I work in hospitality and I love it. I'm social and I also like my down time. I can't function in the morning without my coffee lol I'm a very caring person and am always willing to help or to lend an ear/advice whenever i can. I love music tho I can't play for shit! But I'm sorry to all you country and Xmas carols lovers out there but that shit makes my ears bleed. I am a massive animal lover! I don't own a pet but I've lived with two hairy ass blokes so you can't get more animal than that haha.
I am an easygoing, friendly and open-minded girl, always keen to meet new people and have a chat:) I recently moved to Brisbane from Italy and I am looking for a nice place to call home while I m here. I'm currently working part-time jobs and in my free time I like exploring the city, going out with friends, having a drink, going to the cinema, reading, watching tv, running, going to the gym! I love animals and nature. I don't smoke. I am very clean and tidy and I respect other people needs and rules. It would be amazing to find some cool roommates to have a chat after work or have some fun with:) I m planning to stay here for one year so I am happy to start with a 3/4 months commitment with the possibility to stay longer:)
I am a PhD student, which in principal is having a full-time job. I've got a lot of interests, ranging from theater to rock climbing. I am looking to live with someone more or less like myself. Someone who is quiet and considerate, lives their own life but is also interested in maintaining a place that feels like a home, where you can get together for a meal and a movie once in a while and definitely for chats. Someone who cleans up after themselves and does their house cleaning duties. I am allergic to cats and house dust. I bring my own bedroom furniture. I am interested in teamups and prefere someplace with good access to public transport. Moving date is flexible, but would like to move before mid June.
Hey! My name is Anastasiya, I'm 24 years old and I come with a very smart little dog called Lucky. He is 8 years old, fully trained and very obedient, anyone who meets him falls in love instantly! I am finishing my Master's and I start my new full-time job on the 4th of April as a Business Analyst/Software Engineer for a company in the city! Apparently there is a lot of travel involved, about 50% of the time, so my wonderful dog will be looked after by my close friend at her place when I am away :) I love to cook, I'm very clean, very sociable, love to keep fit and love the outdoors! I am not a party animal but I do like to have a drink on the weekends and go to a bar or some nice restaurant. I love to have a good laugh and a friendly chat, but I am also very respectful of your personal space. I also love to travel and visit new places! I actually just came back from Europe in January and from New Zealand in early March! I guarantee that I will make a good house-mate! Contact me if you have any questions.
I usually mind my own business, but am happy to get on with and interact with Housemates when appropriate. I'm also really clean and love cleanliness :)
I'm easy going, tidy and considerate. I'm also a friendly and positive person. I work, teaching music in schools. I also play in a band, love travel, food, and exploring new places. I'd like to find somewhere with space to work and be independent, but I'd also enjoy hanging out together sometimes.
Hi! My name is Bim am I'm from Sweden. I recently moved to Brisbane on a one year Working Holiday Visa. I'm working full time at a coffeeshop in the CBD and back home, I have studied History of Literature. Some big interests of mine are travelling, music, skiing and meditation. I don't smoke and I am tidy and friendly. Looking for a furnished room in the inner suburbs, preferrably at a place shared with some sociable roomies :)
32 year old West Ender seeks new lovely share-home! I'm looking for a new place, somewhat flexible about the date as I want to find the right place. Ideally around West End / South Brisbane / Highgate Hill area but open to the right place in New Farm, Woolloongabba, or Paddington too. I'm 32, have lived around west end since 2008, and love it to bits. I've been house / dog sitting for friends but will soon need a room in a lovely home again. I'm looking for a place in an established shared house / apartment with some relaxed / mature minded folk, with some flexibility on length of stay. I'd like to find somewhere to stay for a while ideally though. I work Monday to Friday in the city, and in my spare time can usually be found around West End (at the markets, yoga, cycling, walking, dinner with friends, occasionally at urban climb), or southbank checking out what's on at GOMA and the like. I've got a bit of a hankering to start a herb / veggie garden too, so if that's your thing, give me a shout! I would love to stay in the West End area and share with a mature minded, considerate person or two, with whom I can share a laugh and a cuppa / glass of wine from time to time. I have my own things going on and am often out and about, but also enjoy living somewhere where housemates can be friendly and open. I'm good at paying bills on time, having open conversations to keep communication friendly and constructive, and keeping things clean and tidy, (but not to a silly degree). I like my home to look nice :) Given the recent summer heat, ideally the house/apartment would have air conditioning, or at the least some ceiling fans and nice cool breezes. I may melt otherwise!
Hey potential house mates! Fin Here. I'm a 26 yr old Irish man working full time In Brisbane as a medical engineer. I love going camping, visiting new places, keeping fit and healthy and a drink or two at the weekends. Looking to move in around 25th of March. Look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a respectable and responsible person who is tidy. I love music and reading. I work Mon-Frid full time. I have a jack russell and am a responsible pet owner. I'm looking for a fully fenced, pet friendly accommodation.
Heya! I'm just checking things out on here. Not wanting to move until closer to June still to be closer to uni! I'm studying Interior Design at QUT GP and am currently working in before and after school care at a primary school casually, and also as a fairy for a children's party entertainment company! Have lived out of home before over seas. I'm a tidy-ish person generally, but a little bit of a neat freak when it comes to the kitchen and bathrooms! Hoping to eventually move in somewhere with cool fun people who are down for a laff. :)
Just spent the last 6 months working at a health food café on the Sunshine Coast and now back in brisbane. I'm a artist, a vegetarian, a horder of plants and am obsessed with all things quirky or retro. Just message me if you want to know more! (:
Hiya! Living with me is a breeze. I've had lots of experience (interstate, overseas, dorms, flatmates, sharehousing, and house-sitting). I am clean and tidy, hard-working, and I don't sweat the unimportant things in life. I have a stable job, enjoy cooking, and keep regular hours (06:00-21:30 weekdays). I'm at uni four days a week and usually out on weekends. I like people, and enjoy relaxing with others.
From Costa Rica, work 6 d/w so I'm almost never at home.. do enjoy a nice chat with flatmates and the occasional diner and wine :) Can teach you Spanish and you'll get to try delicious latin food everytime I cook. Pretty organised, and very mindful of personal space.. Looking to share a flat with no more than 2 people if possible.
I'm well versed in sharehouses and a traveller at heart. I'm easy going and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy and introverted but love to have a drink and cook, too. I'm a scientist by day, creative by night keen on film and the arts.

Hello! We are Jackson (23) Freya (21) and Loki (Kitty) We're hoping to move from the Sunshine Coast to a lovely Queenslander style home in a nice central location like those we've listed :) Jackson is transferring from the Uni up here to finish his Psychology Honours and his Counselling degree in the City, and Freya is a gun Barista looking to score a job in a groovy cafe! Loki is a really really sweet little boy, very well-natured and would be an inside and outside kitty. We've lived together for the past 6 months (and been together a lot longer) and during that time have developed a harmonious and relaxed dynamic that makes for a nice home environment :) We're the kind of people who enjoy spending time on a nice dinner, are quick to clean mess if we see it, enjoy shopping at markets and op-shops and are happy to share all of our belongings (we've supplied all the furniture at our current house and can do the same if need be in our new one) We're ideally looking for a 3 bedroom house (4 of us in total) with a nice big room we'll share, and definitely our own bathroom would be a bonus! Loki would love a yard to roam, and a car space or 2 would be excellent. You: We're just looking for lovely, substantial humans to share rich conversation, yummy dinners and peaceful time with. We would ideally have a super respectful and equal home with everyone doing their part to make sure everyone else is happy. If this sounds like you, and you like us, lets live together! Freya, Jackson and Loki :)
I am a full time office worker (I work in Woolloongabba), I'm out pretty often but would love to live in a nice tidy place with some sweet people who enjoy a knock off and some socialising when I'm around.
Easy going, friendly. Mainly just a gamer/reader/music lover. Happy to go out and do fun things like see a sports game/live music/check out a cafe/restaurant. Working five days at the moment and don't see that changing any time soon. Hopeing to save up some money to jump over seas for a couple of weeks here and there. Selected 6 months for stay but always happy to extend if all goes well.
Heya! I'm Niamh. I'm currently in Melbourne and looking to move up at the start of June to get back into study starting in July. I'm 19, 20 in August (but wildly mature in a fun but still respectful way haha). You definitely won't regret taking me on because I always clean up after myself and love having a drink or 10 with housemates.
Quiet, clean, professional looking to move closer to work (public service). Recently single & ready for a fresh start. Ready to move, looking for ~6 month lease. Generally happy to keep to myself and have my own space, but always up for a chat or a movie.
Hi there! I'm super easy-going and love meeting new people, so I'm looking for a living situation with similar people. I am a full time student at QUT, and I also work part time. It's my final year at uni so I am pretty busy with study and work, however I love to go out on weekends and I'm always up for an adventure or just a good chat & a glass of prosecco. In terms of how I live, I like to keep things clean/tidy and appreciate a peaceful, considerate and respectful home environment. Ideally I would love to start a new sharehouse as I already have some furniture/white goods (and a couple of other friends who are also interested), but I'm open to all options. My current lease ends March so I'd love to get the ball rolling ASAP - if you're interested get in touch!
Originally from Switzerland, but here for a year to finish my Phd in Social Psychology. Manu is a doctor. I make good pasta and he's pretty good with sandwiches! We speak french, spanish, italian and ukrainian for anyone looking for a lesson! We've lived in heaps of different places always with flatmates, so we're pretty sociable and adaptable!
Hello future roomate, I am Jasmine. I am a 28 year old non – smoking professional looking for a home with one other person on the inner city south-side Brisbane. I am an independent and impulsive person, that sometimes comes across as scatterbrained as I usually have million things running through my mind. I am a pretty enthusiastic person and massively into pop culture. I am the kind of roommate who loves to host board game/movies nights..(such a rebel). I am looking for a home, where I am friends with my roommate- it would be awesome if we did food shopping/alternate cooking nights. Ideally, you're not party animal, you appreciate and understand cleaning up after yourself and give each other space. I would like the place to be inner city north or south and with one person. I would also prefer a room with built-in wardrobe and my own bathroom and place to park my car Cheers, Jasmine
From New Zealand, living here while on internship then planning to move back home at the end of the year... looking for a place preferable in the CBD inner suburbs as I work in the city... I'm not gonna lie, I like to drink but I know when to limit myself, so don't worry. Very sociable but also enjoy my own space and doing my own thing from time to time. Love going on adventures, getting lost and eating new things. I can make pretty edible food and know how to clean up...
I'm really easy going, likes to chill but also a neat person. I've been to so many rental property, or share houses, and I love the fact is that you can become friends with your share mates, also get to learn lots of different things. I work full time, same as shopping centre trading hour, so I normally wont be home during the day, every household has different rules, and i always fit in really well.
Hey guys, I've been in Brisbane for about 18 months and I really enjoy living in your pretty city. I will probably be in around for at least another 12 months before moving interstate again for work but am initially looking for a 3 month lease (just in case my employer asks me to relocate sooner). Ideally i'd move into a furnished apartment close to the city. I work in sales and travel reasonably often so you'll have a few days a month to yourself too. Although i'll very much enjoy a glass or four of red with my new housemate, i'm really not much of a party animal. I'm a passionate vego but won't be on your case if you aren't. I quit smoking about 3 months ago (and haven't looked back) but again, won't give you a hard time for it. I try to exercise a few times a week but I don't beat myself up for sleeping through my alarm in the morning. I'm really easy to get a long with, I'll always pay my rent on time, very clean but not OCD and an average cook, but i'll show you lots of photos of my pet pig back in Adelaide. He's pretty great.
Hi! I'm from Colombia and want to stay in Australia. I already have a 2 year student visa studying marketing, and work most days. I'm very nice and sociable. I'm only interested in sharing with other females, and want to find a private room.
Hi there's potential new housemate 👋 I'm hunting the city for a rad place and cool people. I work in community services and my job requires me to sometimes work from home so a decent sized room, or a place in the house to have a work nook would be ideal. I live for adventure. I love hiking and camping. Picnics are excellent and coffee is king. I'm a lover of opshops, crafting and playing the ukulele. I'm super chilled and responsible. I've met some of my closest friends in share houses, I love the whole experience :)
I'm 23 and work full time in events. I'm ridiculously easy going and into interior design. I like chilling out at home watching Netflix or spending most weekends at the coast. I'm very social but also appreciate my own and others private spaces.
