Hi there!! We are looking for short term accommodation (4 weeks) and possibly longer, from the end of January. We are relatively new to Brisbane and are easy going happy people. We enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle with good food. We are both quiet, clean and tidy to live with and respectful of others space. Paul is working full time Monday through to Friday and Clare is casual, normally working 4 days a week.
Hi, my name is Fatih and I’m a 24-year-old student from Germany. Next semester 1 (starting in Feb 12, 2018) I will be an exchange student at QUT for one semester until the mid/end of June 2018. Therefore, I am looking for a nice room to stay during this time somewhere close to QUT Gardens Point campus. I am a very easy-going and sociable person, wipe the benches after I make food and regularly purchase house supplies. I have lived in share houses the last 5 years of my life nin 3 different countries and with flatmates from probably every corner of the world. As you can see, I like multi-cultural atmospheres and love hanging up or going out with my flatmates. Moreover, I do a lot of sports such as football/soccer or going to the gym. I will arrive in Brisbane on Feb 11 but it’s definitely not a problem for me to stay in a hostel for the first week and move into the room on Feb 17 or so. If you want, we can skype before I come to Australia or I can come to see you and the place once I arrived in Brisbane. Thanks a lot and best regards from Germany Fatih
I have just returned from two years abroad on a working holiday visa in London. I will be starting my Master of Tourism, Event and Hotel Management at UQ at the end of February and looking for my new home. Interests include cooking, wine, brunch, travel, walking, reading and Haagen Dasz. Looking for a social house where I can make new friends and call home. I will be in Brisbane from the 24th January so keen to set up some viewings around this time :)
I am extremely quiet, clean and conscientious, and spend a lot of time out of the house either working or studying in my room (BEnvSci student at Griffith University). In saying that i'm very personable and I am always down for a chat when other roommates are around. Live music is my lifeblood and am always down to go see a gig if that's what you're into. I also DO NOT own a car, so being close to several modes of public transport would be a plus :) which also means I wont take up any valuable street or off-street parking you may have!
I'm fun, friendly and easy going guy who love to socialise and explore outdoors on weekends. As a housemate I'm clean, tidy, always up for chats, a beverage and movies but also respect others privacy. I work as a dietitian part time during the week and in my spare time I love being outdoors, exploring, playing sport, bush walking, travelling and reading.
I am a Brazilian guy, graduated in business administration, who will travel to Australia to do a specialization course in business and also find a a job to work part-time. I am a easy person who likes nature, beach and all kinds of sports. I will arrive in the country in the middle of April, and i need a room to share for the next 6 months (until October). If you want to share the room with me, send me a message! Cheers!
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
Hy I am an Italian student coming to Brisbane to make an exchange period. I consider myself as a quite opened person who loves to meet new people and (why not) also hang out with them, eat and having fun during the weekends. I love basketball and traveling around to all the places that have to be discovered.
Hey brissy legends, I'm Laura. I just got back from 2 years travelling and figure it's about time I start doing life again! I'm originally from Melbourne but spent my last couple of years in Australia enjoying the NSW coast. I've always been keen for a life in Brissy so here I am!! I'm a pretty chill person when it comes to living, I just don't like living in a mess. I work in the travel industry so a lot of my time will be spent booking in holidays for people at the office and well, when I'm not doing that most likely enjoying the events the industry puts on. I look forward to my weekends so I can escape to the beach, catch up with friends, etc. Definately not afraid of a good ollllll chinwag but also am mindful and respectful of peoples space. Would love to be around other like minded house mates that enjoy a catch up and a drink every now and again. Stoked if I gain some pals
Hello! My name is Maithilee, I am from Pune, India. I am a product designer and am coming to Brisbane to study a Master of Business at UQ. I enjoy exercising, dancing and eating healthy (well most times). My boyfriend, Abishek, is a lawyer and is coming to pursue his Master of Laws at UQ. He loves to read and can talk about any topic under the sun! We will be arriving in Brisbane on 1st of February. We are an easy going couple who love to travel and try new things. We are organized and clean up after ourselves. We enjoy good brews and wine! We are a social couple and would love to form meaningful friendships and a strong bond with our future housemate(s), and if the house has a pet friend even better! Cheers, Maithilee and Abishek
I'm a positive, open-minded, adventurous, relaxed, tidy person and am on the prowl for some great humans to live with! I'm studying my master's degree in conservation biology at UQ. I love travel, dancing, hiking, movie nights and being a social butterfly. I have a fair bit happening between study and work but I always like to make time to get outdoors, go out for a drink, get the creative juices flowin', have a chat with a cuppa or just chill out in my own space. I'd like to live with easygoing, fun-loving, tidy people in a place that has good vibes and feels like home. I adore animals and am happy to live with them, just not an indoor cat as I'm a little allergic to them. I move out of my current place the 21st of January, but my dates could be a little flexible to a week or so before to a couple of weeks after.
Hey:) I'm a Melbourne girl moving to Brisbane to study medicine. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to call home close to UQ and the matter hospital. I intend to work alongside my studies so I would appreciate a more relaxed base rather than a party house. I enjoy cooking, getting outside and chats over tea. I'm very easy to get along with and look forward to getting to know you :) The main things that I'm looking for are: - A private room large enough for a queen bed and desk. - Proximity to UQ uni - A smoke-free house - AC is a plus Message me to find out more:)
I work full time and live a healthy lifestyle. I have one quiet and clean adult cat that chills all day.
**TEAM UP** Hey future Roomies, Liam and I met on Flatmates 5 months ago and got a place together for 6 Months, this is coming to an end so we are wanting to find a bigger place and preferably 2 other people to start a new share house 4+ Bedrooms. We are both working professionals, like to keep fit and healthy during the week and love to have a drink on the weekends. Both easy going and would like to find like minded people to create a fun, happy and drama free place where we are all become friends rather than just roommates. Happy to spend around $250 each a week for a room each, so looking for a place for about $1,000 a week. Preferably looking for at least 1 female to even the house out! Send me a message if you think you will be suited and we can all meet up for a coffee or a drink. :) Cheers, Patrick!
Hiya, just two friendly and chilled as sisters here! We're both studying at UQ and are looking for a cool place to live with some similar minded flatmates. We're looking for some relaxed, open-minded and nice people to set a house up with that can feel like home. I'm 22 and am going into my second year of Architecture. I enjoy op shopping and cooking delish meals for friends. April is 19 and is going into a Bachelor of Arts, she enjoys playing ping pong badly and some good tunes alongside a casual bevvie. We are both clean but do not mind if things aren't spotless all the time! We love a good time but also respect the study life and everyones personal spaces. Give us a ring! :)))
I'm well versed in sharehouses and a traveller at heart. I'm easy going and respectful of space. I'm clean and tidy and introverted but love to have a drink and cook, too. I'm a scientist by day, creative by night keen on film and the arts.
I've been studying and working in Brisbane for one year and I'm planning to stay a few years more. I have traveled around South America for one year before I came to Australia, and this travel just changed completely the way I see life. I love to share thoughts, be surrounded by happy and easy going people. I practice yoga and meditation. I'm interested in alternative ways of living, permaculture, organic food production.
Hi! I'm Eddie, looking for a new place close to UQ. I study architecture and write music for classical ensembles. I'm tidy, easy going and fairly quiet.
I'm a very clean and private person, but I also enjoy a few drinks every now and then. I usually spend my time in my room and I respect your space. Just working and about to start studying soon.
Hi there! I'm 24 years old and I work full time at a local craft beer bar. I love a great beer with mates, photography and I have a passion for cooking. I think I'm a pretty low maintenance person to live with and am looking for somewhere to make my home. I'm not interested in being a part of a share house where everyone keeps to themselves all the time. I'm looking at moving in from early February. I'm looking to sign a minimum of a 6 month lease.
Hi everyone :) I'll be moving to Brisbane this February to study my masters in Social Work. I'm 27 (nearly 28), originally from Mullumbimby in Northern NSW, very friendly, down to earth, respectful of others, and a non smoker/drinker (however I don't have a problem with those that do). I've just returned to Australia after living in Indonesia for the last 5 years, and would love to find a sharehouse that feels like a real home, with housemates who are kind-hearted, and enjoy sitting down together for a cup of tea and a good chat. Hoping to find a room in West End or surrounding inner city suburbs. I can afford $175/week INCLUDING bills.
I'm great to live with because I'm clean and tidy, equally happy keeping to myself or chilling with others, a good cook, and I like people. I've travelled fairly widely, and have lived in Japan and Europe, so I'm comfortable with all sorts of folks. I work casually and study full-time, so I won't be in anyone's way, either. :)
