I moved to Melbourne from Auckland last October to work for a bank in the CBD (marketing).

I'm in a good place now, with a nice housemate, but I want an ensuite (not just my own bathroom), a bigger wardrobe and somewhere secure to store my bike.

I love cycling, going to the gym, art, fashion, UK dramas and English football, among other things. It would be cool to find someone who rides too, but that's probably a long-shot and definitely not a dealbreaker.

Yes I am getting old but I am a bit of a Peter Pan, I think, because I never had to go through raising kids.

I'm definitely a no dramas, low maintenance housemate. No smoking, drugs, or grubby habits.

I don't have a car, so no need for a carpark. And I don't have much stuff to clutter the living room, except maybe a new TV and soundbar. (If you already have a great TV I guess mine will go in the bedroom.)

Speaking of which, I'm not looking for a furnished bedroom. I'm one of those people who gags at the idea of sleeping on someone's else's mattress. And I only want to live with one other person. I think two is a good number.

I want a home vibe, not just two strangers sharing a physical space, otherwise I may as well just rent by myself. That doesn't mean going out together on Friday night but .. you know... having good chats, the odd drink midweek, maybe an event. I do walks and brunches with my current housemate.
