Hello. I am looking for a nice and tidy place (1 private room, preferably but not exclusively with its own bathroom), which I can share with a respectful, clean and tidy flatmate. I'd also prefer a place close (max 5-10 mins. walking) to a tram stop or train station, and a coles/woolies store. I work in consulting full-time Monday to Friday, 9 to 5, usually cook my dinner on a daily basis, watch youtube videos, chill out and work out most weekends. I like chatting over a glass of water/wine/beer, but also enjoy spending time by myself. If you want to have a chat, feel free to send me a message, give me a call or check my profile on LinkedIn. Thank you.
Heya i'm a 20 yr/old Canadian from good old Winnipeg, Manitoba. I'm doing my honours degree in History and will be attending Deakin University as an exchange student. I'll be in Melbourne for approximately half a year and am looking for a good group to live with while i'm down. I consider myself a tidy individual, love to cook and enjoy good company. I work at a daycare part-time in Canada but in Australia I will be working on campus. I'm hoping to find a place that is somewhat close to the city centre, but i'm not super picky; i'm really just looking for a place I can call home and a nice group of roommates. If you're looking for a friendly Canadian to live with ya let me know!
I am a moderately social person who enjoys occasionally delving into deeper conversations. Some of my interests include music, gaming, binging Netflix and keeping up with the latest technology. All that being said I am a very career focused person so I might be lost in the void, in times. I perceive myself to be respectful to others and quite tidy. I will be working as a product support engineer around Melbourne Central so I am looking for a new conveniently located accommodation.
Hello! I have moved to Melbourne permanently from Bangalore, India. I work full-time, always keen for a chat or a glass of wine and definitely know how to give some one space :) Cheers
I relocated from Brisbane to South Yarra about a year ago, but I'm looking for a new groovy space for myself and potentially 1/2 other people! I'm currently a full-time design student at Monash and working part-time on chapel st. I'm the super outgoing, friendly sort, but I appreciate some down time and naps very much. I'm neat and tidy, and a relatively good cook. I'll vacuum and clean the toilet once a week because I'm nice and I'll clean up after myself every night. Me: - tall - blonde - relatively athletic - creative - has white appliances (fridge, washing machine/ dryer) - other appliances (vacuum, microwave, iron, A3 printer (saving money!!), and other kitchen shii) You: - friendly - funny - likes wine / other beverages occasionally - potentially has a TV (not a deal breaker obvs) - likes fun times and down time Message me if you want to live with me!!!
I am currently living in Canberra working as an EA. I am looking for a new experience and to meet new people. I LOVE animals, food being social. I'm looking for a place to move into in Melbourne with a friendly roommate who I can get along with. I probably will be working full time so won't be in the way too much.
My name is Sebastian. I am 26 years old. I am easy going, respectful, responsible and quite. I work part time at the moment. I came to Australia because I want to improve my skills and my English. I am humorous- I like good jokes. I am extremely tidy and organised, I like to maintain my space clean always as I believe it attracts positive vibes. I look forward to be part of your house.
Hi potential female housemate, (yes I only wish to live with females) I'm friendly, down to earth and just a regular Jo (which happens to be my middle name)! My interests are veered toward artistic pursuits such as singing, card making, scriptwriting and volunteering as a FOH member for amateur theatre. I like to walk a lot and keep healthy though do enjoy a good wine! I have a lovely friendship circle spread across Melbourne and supportive family. I'm keen to meet someone who likes to chat from time to time but likes their free time too. I'd like to meet someone that I feel I can be myself with and to forge a companionship of sorts that has mutual respect, care and appreciation. I'm looking for a home not just a house that is shared and where both parties might communicate well so they both know where they stand. Basically I don't wish to feel I have to be in my room all the time or that the house really is the domain of the other person. Just someone who is kind, honest and willing to share resources would be great :) Prefer not to live with any pets.
I'm a friendly person that can have a good chat. I love my sport & music & love my family/friends. I'm organised and like to keep busy, but also like my alone time. I work casually at AFL games, and with EWG, working at events. I will be studying at Holmesglen this year, studying a degree of sports media. I’d love roommates that are trusting and caring, and have a good sense of humor. This will be my first time living away from home so might take me a little while to get used to that. Would prefer having just 1 roommate, or 2 at max, but would be okay with a family.
I'm a 25 year old Psychology Postgraduate student. I am an Australian and Italian citizen, so I fluently speak both English and Italian. I am friendly and easy going as well as organised and trustworthy. When I am not studying, I enjoy either relaxing at home by reading, listening to music, cooking or doing yoga; otherwise I enjoy having a fun night out. I am looking for a cozy place I can temporarily call home and some housemates I can with time call friends!
Hello! I'm a Exchange student from the United States studying for a Semester Abroad at RMIT. I am a Mechanical Engineering student that loves cooking, traveling, and meeting new people. I am a clean roommate that likes to have fun when I'm not studying. I am looking for Australian roommates or other Exchange students that are social and willing to help me experience Australia to the fullest capacity.
I'm from Colombia. I've been in Melbourne for 5+ years. I'm a Software Engineer working full time. I like to exercise, play tennis and ride the bicycle when I have the chance. I also love sharing time with friends as well as just relaxing at home. I'm a very easy going person so I'm always open to chat and give a helping hand when needed. I've been flatsharing for a number of years, I'm very tidy and clean and always able to cooperate with my flatmates to keep our home organized and with a good vibe.
Hi there! I am currently seeking a medium term share house. Ideally I would like to rent a place by myself, but I don't yet have the required start up funds, so I am seeking a share situation for approximately 4-6 months as an interim solution. I don’t own a car, so public transport options are important, particularly train lines (faster than trams!). Over the Christmas break I have been inbetween jobs, but come late January/February I will be doing a combination of work, study, music rehearsals & other activities - so I will be occupied & with income - always a bonus! When I am at home I mostly like to relax and rejuvenate. I love cooking, baking, board/card games, pool, music, theatre, culture, reading, sleeping, parklands, crime dramas, and animals. I would be keen to live with people who share similar interests. Not too fussed on age and I am totally accepting of different lifestyles. I drink very rarely - I am not opposed to living with someone who drinks just not heavily. I would prefer a non-smoking household as well. I always pay rent/bills on time and I am extremely clean and tidy. I have lived in share houses for over 10yrs, so I understand the importance of respect and communication. References are available.
I am 24 years old. I work as a nanny/Child Educator. I have just moved back to Australia from living in London. I am moving to Melbourne around 20/25th of January this year. I am very social, enjoy traveling, love fitness and go to the gym daily. I am clean/tidy person. I love a good chat and making new friends. I enjoying going out for coffee/brunch and enjoy having a drink on the weekends. I like to have my independence during the week and be respectful of the house mates.
Hello! My name is Caillin and I'm looking to move down to Melbourne at the beginning of February. I've lived up on the sunny Gold Coast my whole life and I'm looking forward to moving to a brand new city. Workwise, I'm transferring within my job interstate to work part time, while I freelance with content writing & creation. I'm also looking for an internship so I'll be out of the house quite a bit! When I'm not working I'm at the gym or at the beach (which might be difficult to adjust to not doing as much :( ) or I'm catching up with friends and family. I also really enjoy sleeping (who doesnt?). I like to think I'm super tidy and I always clean up after myself- I'm definitely willing to pull my weight in house cleaning! I love a good movie night in and binging Netflix with a cheeky uber eats delivery. Most importantly, I'm moving with my 10 year old ginger cat called Mia, so its important that you are open to living with a cat and are in a pet friendly environment. She's super shy but as she gets more comfy she'll be more open to cuddles from you too! She also REALLY loves dogs so if you have a doggo that isn't too crazy/ won't eat cats that would be amazing! In terms of what my perfect flat mate/s would be- I'm looking for people who are tidy and respect each other's privacy. As I'm new to the city, it would be AMAZING (But not essential!) if you were interested in showing me around the best places of Melb (most importantly the beach!) for a cheeky cocktail, an occasional boogie, a good shop and where the best coffee is (mainly so I can be one of those frustrating people who work on their laptops in a cafe whoops). While I'm open to living with social people, personal space and down time is also really important to me! Also, you must pretend laugh at my dad jokes at the bare minimum. I think I've covered most things about myself and what I'm looking for, but if you want to know anything more please swing me a message (or suss out my socials if you'd rather first haha) - I can't wait to chat to you more :-)
Hello my name is Maddie I'm looking to move in asap. I'm a friendly, neat and respectful person. I enjoy watching film and TV, also all things animal related so pets are definitely a bonus (as mine did not move with me). I work 2 casual jobs, and study acting. I'm a really down to earth person, always up to chat about interesting things and eat way to much food. Please feel free to message me anytime and set up a time to meet!
Hi future housemate! It’s Natani! I’m a Brazilian student in Melbourne looking for a place long term to call home. Austrália has been my home for the last year and it will be for more two years (maybe more🤷🏽♀️). I like to consider myself as easy going, tidy, organized and open minded human being. I try to keep myself busy during week since I have school and two jobs in hospitality, however during weekends I like chill out riding my bike, cooking, hanging out with friends or enjoying Netflix at home. Now and then I’m off the city camping or exploring the country or (when I have enough money) the world. I’ve been sharing houses since I arrived in Australia, so don’t worry I’m pretty familiar with the “sharing house etiquette”. I look forward to arranging an inspection once I really need a place to live ASAP. See ya!
Hola! I am moving to Melbourne with work sometime in February. The date is flexible and depends on when I can find somewhere to live. In regards to the house, I am not that fussy, so long as it is in a good location and clean with minimal clutter. If the bedroom was furnished that would be great but if not I will be able to organise my bed to come down with me. If the house has a pup, that would be an absolute added bonus haha. In regards to the housemates, I am just looking for housemates that are social but also value their downtime... I am relatively social but I definitely need my "Clare time" to function haha. I have the normal boring day to day hobbies - gym, getting outside into nature whenever I can, anything that involves yummy food. I am definitely over my 'party' days, but I still enjoy a couple of beverages at the weekend, I just will not be out until all hours of the morning - I value my sleep way too much haha. Last year, I was studying full time and have half completed my masters. I am hoping that I will be able to pick up a course at a time at Monash uni to keep that going.. so if all goes to plan, I will also be studying part-time. Cheers, Clare
Hey my name is Desiree, (right hand side of photo) I am 23 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand. I work and study in transport and logistics. Long days and even longer weekends (studying and catching up with friends) mean's I'm generally not home a lot! Looking to go flatting somewhere close to Hawthorn as i don't want to commute too far to work. Also I don't smoke and I don't mind pets!
Hello there :) My partner and I are looking to move to Melbourne ASAP because as we start Uni at RMIT in semester 1. We are both in our mid 20's with jobs lined up to start as soon as we get there. We are both clean, punctual and easy going people with a thirst for life haha. We are looking for anything close to the city that is within our price range. Thanks for reading.
