Hello I'm Bianca, 23 years old from NZ relocating to Melbourne on the 7th January for work. I am a flight Attendant with Virgin Australia which means I will be doing shift work and be away 2/3 nights a week. I'm looking to move in with some girls similar age around South Yarra area. I am very clean and respectful of others sleep/ work patterns and personal space. My interests include - going to the gym most days, cooking and living a healthy lifestyle, I love food, wine and brunch dates. Social, bubbly and love a good girls night out.
Hey, my name is Cian! I’m on the working holiday visa having just moved from Ireland. I’m looking for a room for sometime in the middle of January. I’m signed to an agency that gets me temporary office work on the regular. I’ll be working full time during the week Monday to Friday and off at the weekends. I like to keep it pretty chill weekdays and go out and about at the weekends. I enjoy a party or two but quiet nights in as well. I’m super clean and would love to mix and make friends with housemates but also allow some space and “me time”.
We are an easy-going couple from the Netherlands and Wales. Been living in Sydney for the past few months and looking for a place to live in Melbourne. We are open to sharing a house as long as we have our own room, and the roommates are right! Dave works as a pool-lifeguard and Dorine works in either hospitality or office. We have our little station wagon (Susan) and therefore need a parking space on or near the property. If it is a garage, it need to be min height of 2.1 m. As we are here on a working holiday visa, we don't own any big furniture, so the place needs to be furnished. Looking forward to finding the perfect little spot in Melbourne!
We are an easy-going couple from the Netherlands and Wales. Been living in Sydney for the past few months and looking for a place to live in Melbourne. We prefer to have our own little space but are willing to team up with the right people! Place must be furnished and must have car space available.
Hello!! My current lease ends in early Jan and I am hoping to find some fun new housemates. I'm currently working in retail casually and studying full time. Which keeps me out of the house most of the week, I am clean, easygoing and love being social. Hoping to find housemates that are likeminded and enjoy a cheeky glass of wine or a movie night. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, queries, or just wanna have a chat. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey! It’s Tuana, 25yo. I am looking for a long-term room to stay and working full-time as a digital marketer at Richmond area. Lived with flatmates before in Madrid & States for a year, each. Just moved to Melbourne couple months ago and enjoying it. I am very easy going and would love to have chats with other mates around & privacy at the same time 🙂 Let me know if it fits you ! Cheers
Hey there! Looking for a place to live for the next 4-12months. I am keen on seeing different areas of Melbourne so don't mind if it is only a shorter-term lease. My selling points: often out of the house, will contribute indoor plants and wafts of delicious food down the hallway. Will happily keep to myself or have a chat. Have lived in many share houses around the world so know the drill. I am clean (very keen on the idea of a cleaning schedule) and considerate of space (will clean up my stuff when finished on the table and try to use the kitchen when no ones else is). Me: - I have just finished up a Sociological research project on dating apps (very interesting) and am currently seeking a social-science research position for 2019, considering a PhD for the year after. - I play field hockey and generally like to be active. - Typical millennial who likes travel and food. - Non-typical millennial who doesn't like social media. What I'm looking for in my housemates: Don't have too many expectations but definitely get along more with people who are open-minded and accepting folk. Regardless, I am keen on housemates who like to communicate when they have issues (I will do the same) so we can discuss, compromise and continue on with a happy and sustainable housemate relationship. What I'm looking for in my new dwelling: ~10min walk to a train station (or tram directly into the city) Anywhere in the South-East or Eastern suburbs. Medium to lots of natural light.
Hi guys, I'm originally from NZ, spent a few years living in the UK before moving to Melbourne late last year. I'm very relaxed, easy going and respectful of other housemates. Like to live in a clean and tidy home. I'm a professional working in the city full-time Mon-Fri and keep very busy outside of work. You'll find me at the gym or cricket training most evenings. Am very independent and prep my own meals etc but love to have a catch up and a chat most evenings. Definitely partial to watching a bit of sport and a few drinks. Enjoy the odd night out on the weekend but also happy having a night in making food and watching TV. Spend a bit of time at my girlfriends place most weekends. Would prefer another working professional around the same age with similar interests and also is clean and tidy. Ideal house/apartment would be a two bedroom place with two bathrooms and a car space in or around one of the suburbs I've listed. Move date is around mid December. Feel free to ask if there's anything else.
Ciao I'm 31 years old from Italy on my second working holiday visa. During the university, I lived in shared houses for a lot of years so I know what does it mean to stay with others respecting them and respecting the common spaces. I'm clean and organized and I don't like to live my duties to the others. I like to cook (and share) and have a glass of wine together while listening to some good music.
Two Scottish girls looking for somewhere to stay for around 6 months! Both working full time. We’re nice, easy going and easy to live with. We’re looking for two rooms in a house share or an entire apartment with 2 rooms. Thanks!
We both are pastry chefs and love to cook for people. In our free time we like to explore new places in Melbourne. We are very easy going couples and looking for the same company for the house.
Ian is 27, from Scotland and has been in Australia since February 2017. He is a roof tiler, works full time and has a job lined up for when we arrive! Gabby is 29, has just graduated nursing and has accepted a position at a hospital to start in early February next year. Originally from Melbourne but has been living on the Sunshine Coast since March 2017 for a little break and to study. We also have a little cat called Pippa, who is very friendly, cuddly and quiet. She will probably head butt you for pats, but other then that, she's pretty chill. (She will for sure stalk you if you're eating ham though) She’s already in Melbs with family at the moment but I really would like to get her back ASAP if it suits the house we move into. We are both very easy to live with, very tidy and aware that we are sharing a space with other people and to be respectful of that. We also get down with wine and socialising but just not every weekend anymore ... you know .. saving and that. We are moving between the 6th-12th of January. PS. I tried to upload a photo of the two of us but it cropped me out so you have a lovely close up of Ian and it won't let me change it lol. Apparently, it likes him more than me.
I am a Canadian uni student coming to Melbourne for an exchange trimester at Deakin. After the trimester ends in June I plan to stay in Melbourne to work until returning to Canada in December. I'm easy going and love meeting new people! I am clean and respectful. I have lived abroad in Spain and Italy with host families. I enjoy yoga, the beach, trying out new foods, and going to see live music. I love both nights out and nights in spent watching Netflix. :)
Hi guys, I'm looking a place as my head office is moving to Cremorne. I'm working full time, by profession I'm an accountant, I'm not a party bloke but likes to hang out and likes to help.If u r a nature loving person then we will have a very good time as I luv to visit the Victorian countryside. I do respect others privacy but also an altruistic person. See you soon!!
Hi there, I'm moving from Sydney in early January. Only looking for a 3ish month stay for the moment as I'm going on holiday from April-May. I'm a nurse so will be doing shift work. I enjoy cooking/baking in my downtime so there's regularly baked goods to try. Not a big party or morning person but up for a chat over a late morning coffee or early arvo drinks.
I'm an expat from Canada that fell in love with Australia two years ago and hasn't left since! I currently work full time as a venue manager for Maniax Melbourne, so if you're ever looking for a free axe throwing adventure, I'm your girl. I used to be a fitness instructor at a trampoline park, so I'm a gym junkie with a pancake obsession (maple syrup goes on EVERYTHING), as well as a home owner myself so I know how important it is to be a great tenant and housemate. Bonus: I have a Costco membership and a horrendous drunk baking habit so you can finally buy your toilet paper in bulk, and munch on whatever goodies I create over the weekends!
Hey toegether, Anton (24) and me (21) searching for an Apartment. We would join a sharehouse, could rent a separate flat or open for any other ideas. We're from Germany and both have a job in the moving services sector in Melbourne where we work most time of the week. In our free time we're doing some sport, meeting friends or staying at the beach.
Hi there! I've just moved over from Scotland to get some vitamin C. Here for at least a year so looking for a place short term with the possibility to extend maybe after March. Really just looking for a place where I have a room for myself to come and chill after working all day but chatty flatmates I can hang out with as I literally have no friends yet. Work at target currently so have regular hours and had a flat in the UK so am used to paying bills, monthly rent etc. Really laid back, happy to sit and chill in the house with the tv on or go out and explore and have a wee dance every now and then! Love an espresso martini and rate a good museum or picnic day.
Well grounded irish female moving from Perth to Melbourne for a new job and seeking a nice safe and modern rental for myself or a room in a home that is quiet. I am a Consultant, who leads a quiet life but has a bubbly and outgoing personality. Non smoker/drinker/drug taker/partier. Into health and fitness, meditating, self development, reading, learning new things (currently learning to dj as a hobby), making natural products. I am respectful of others and not looking for a housemate to entertain me or vice versa. Clean and tidy and pays rent & bills on time. Looking for a place to myself or to share with one other person maximum, someone who is like minded, leads a quite life and is respectful of another persons quiet time and space (no couples please). Move date will be mid January 2019.
So I've decided to finally move near work in South Yarra and live my best city life (after commuting for approx 2 hours each day for over 3 years, I thought it was about time). I'm 23 and working full time in Business Operations, plus also studying a Bachelor of Commerce online (and obviously part-time due to work!) I'm keen to move into a share house where hopefully we can all hang out when schedules align (I'm always down for Netflix, wine, chats, dinner dates, seeing live music and adventures!) but I'm also someone who definitely appreciates time to myself. I'll cook, but tbh I'll never say no to Uber Eats! If someone could also motivate me to attend a gym sesh here and there, that would be sweet! I've lived out of home for a few years, so I know how to do all the boring adult stuff!
Hi everyone, top housemate here checking in. My friends describe me as sincere, reliable, fun, caring and respectful but thats probably because I pay them to write my reviews. What I'm looking for is a chilled house share with down to earth people who have their own lives and don't need to be baby sat - coz I get busy too otherwise I would : ) Fit is the most important thing to me so looking for the right people with whom I can share for around 12months or possibly longer if it all goes well - (insider tip) - I find communication helps. I love my music, my sports and my job when my boss is on holidays ... Hope to speak to some of you soon ! Cheers, Patrick
Hey, I am a full-time working professional at Monash University, Caulfield. I'm a friendly housemate, who prefers to clean up after myself and keeps an open floor for communication. I've started cooking more often and would love fix a meal or two =) I'm looking to move into a two (max three-bedroom) house. Give me a shout if I fit your search for a housemate, I am interested in an immediate move. Cheers!
