*Looking to rent a furnished room for 3 months only!!* Hello, my name is Sinead. I’m moving to Melbourne from Ireland the second week of September. I’m a Primary school teacher so will be out of the house Monday to Friday until about 5pm. I’m easy going, tidy, respect other people and their space but also like to chill watching tv or catching up in the evening! My hobbies include traveling, reading, horse riding, playing with dogs, attempting to surf, yoga and people watching (not a real hobby but i do enjoy watching passers by while I’m at a window seat of a cafe!) I’m looking to move in with females or couples just because I’ve a boyfriend who is staying in Ireland and I wouldn’t like to live with single men (nor would he , lol) I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets but have no problem if you have a dog or cat in the house I love animals! I will be going home to Ireland for Christmas so will be moving out the first half of December but am flexible with the date I move out can be early or mid December.
Back in Melbourne after working in Dubai as an air hostess for 7years. Working full time in Prahran so would love somewhere I can walk from. Currently living with friends so flexible with moving dates. Originally from NZ so very easy going, love a clean house and respectful of shared areas but not OCD. Very active and social so out of the house a lot, work most weekends as I am a makeup artist. Love good convo cooking and wines but also like my own space sometimes and respect that others need theirs too.
Currently studying Nursing at Holmesglen Tafe. I love meeting new and interesting people whilst hanging out, having a good time with my friends. I'm looking for places to live as I want to be my own independent person
Please note: apartments aren’t my first choice as Max loves to sun bake. I work building seasonal jobs in exhibitions or in an ice cream truck . In my free time, I am usually home on netflix, gaming or doing jigsaws, drawing and such in my own space. I jog with my little jack russell terrier and do yoga regularly outside. I'm pretty quiet overall. Not a smoker, keep the kitchen clean and pay all bills ahead or on time. Try to be considerate of waking others with my odd hours. Definitely up to do some gardening. Would very much like housemates who would be kind enough to give our mate Max a belly rub and a little time out the back when they can. He is a massive sulk in my bed when I'm out. Loves to live with other pet owners for friends. Housetrained, flea drops, etc. I’m also vegetarian but I do not tell others what to eat. I like a house where everyone does their own thing and is respectful.
We're coming to australia for 6 months. I'll be doing a research internship at the Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute at Monash University, and Galvarino is here on a working holiday visa and is looking for IT jobs. We don't have pets and we don't smoke. We enjoy fun get-togethers, but not loud parties. This will be our first time in Australia, so we really want to try as much new things as we can in these six months! Everything from learning how to surf to the very different burger ingredients is fair game.
My name is Achini, I am 32 and I am an Executive Legal Secretary by profession. I am coming from Perth to Melbourne this coming week and I am from originally with a Sri Lankan descendant. I am a kind, safe, very clean, neat tidy and reliable/ very responsible person. I got sufficient identification that can be provided. I will be careful with the place as my own. I am friendly but know to give people their own space. I moved to Melbourne one and half months ago and returned back to Perth to arrange some matters with . I am moving to Melbourne this coming week. I have almost secured my job there with a lawfirm in the CBD down Collins Street. I need some accommodation close to the city or a place that has a short commute to the city for a short period of time say about 3 months max until I get my own rental secured (I must do so because I own two beautiful golden retriever boys who will be staying with a Foster Family down in Perth until I get my place). I am looking to move in as soon as I land there in Melbourne probably by this Wednesday or Thursday. I meet with my potential employers on Wednesday (pending approval depending on municipal itinerary). Due to the move + travelling I am a little tight on finances therefore it would be ideal and I would be grateful if I could be exempted from paying a bond. However, I confirm I have no problem rent on time, and I am able to provide many references for you to assure you that I am safe, reliable, clean and tidy as I state and that I payment my rent on time. The rent I can afford with confidence is max $150 a week. I am looking for ideally just for about 1-2 or 3 months accommodation only. I would prefer that I am not locked into fixed period and be allowed to pay as I go because I want to get my own place as soon as it is possible. I would of course ensure that I provide you with 2 weeks notice before leaving to be fair on your side too. However, if that is a problem I am happy to compromise and to work around you therefore kindly put forward your offers and kindly don’t condemn me on that need. Even though it is for a short period of time; I would like to live in a neat, clean, nice safe place. Within a short commute to the CBD. I really like homely spaces with positive and nice people. I love animals so I do not mind if you got any animals of your own. Not anywhere with any drugs/alcohol or crazy party houses. Really, just looking for a safe cosy place to call home even for this short period of time with some positive minded beautiful people. Thank you for reading and really look forward to hearing from you soon :) Achini
Hey everyone, I'm a Scottish gal who moved to Melbourne about 6 months ago and am looking for a place to lay down some roots. Totally up for moving in to a current home or finding a new place with a group of folk! I'm a kindergarden teacher during the week in Richmond and like to spend my weekends either exploring the City or going on trips out and about, whatever is happening I have severe FOMO. Had my own place back in Scotland with a friend so very aware of bills and expectations of sharing a home with other people, and am looking for a home where we can interact with each other instead of hiding away when we're around. I am not vegan - but can appreciate and respect the life style & I love netflix so am happy to spend nights arguing over wether vikings or gossip girl are the strongest shows. Wine and coffee are my vices, along with chocolate, pizza, burgers, and mcdonalds hash browns.. I hope to hear from you all!
Hi I’m Kat, I’m 30yrs old and I’m a Primary school teacher. During the week I’m pretty quiet. I’m always up for a chat however I do respect down time and space. On the weekends I’m usually out about catching up with friends and having the occasional night out. I’m easy going, tidy and like to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
My name is Emma and I am an international full-time student, studying environmental sustainability, currently leasing my own apartment. I'm a very happy, laid back and easygoing girl who is a huge movie buff, and I enjoy a good book and music. I also enjoy cooking and some cheeky wine, and it's always more fun to cook for more than just myself. I'm a bit of an introvert, but I do love to have a chat and spending time with the right person/people because I do love to joke around and have a laugh. So I would love to live with individuals that I can actually become friends with so we can both enjoy a shared living space.
