I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers

Amy and I (Nadi) met through our boyfriends (who are brothers). I have just started studying in the city and love to cook and wind down with some Netflix and wine. I have a veggie patch as well which would make a lovely addition to any garden :) Amy is very chilled, has recently graduated university, likes to draw and game (x-box) and works at Grill'd - that's right, mates rates if we live together ;) We were living with our boyfriends and they're other brothers (there's 4 of them in total) but it all got a bit much so we are hoping to find a calmer, cleaner place! Obviously we have lived with other people before so we are very respectful of others and their property/space. Also, we are used to budgeting for bills and rent so payment of these wouldn't be an issue. It is important that we all get along and we aren't asking to become best friends but it would be nice to be able to all chill out once in a while!
26 yo male from UK. Looking for shared accommodation with a good group of people to get along with and hang out. I work regular hours Monday to Friday so weekday evenings are usually chilled but would love to get out into the city/surrounding areas whenever possible and explore more of Melbourne. Looking for accommodation until end of September/start of October.

I have been living there since 2013 in two share houses, so very respectful of the space etc. Have just been travelling around the world for 6 months and ready to get back into reality. While In Melbourne I will have hours at a supermarket and have enough money saved so rent and bonds won't be any issue :). Interested in the North of the CBD/St Kilda area, anywhere I can bike to Carlton or the CBD in half an hour or so. Also eat meat, and like to cook meals when I can, happy to share them with future housemates. Message me if I sound like the right fit for your humble abode, look forward to meeting you! :)
I'm a Zimbabwean guy who just moved to Melbourne to start work with NAB. Looking for a private room preferably with my own bathroom in a house or flat with no more than 3 people. I'm a bit of a clean freak. Listed a few areas I want to stay but anywhere really close to the CBD, like no more than 30 minutes train ride to Southern Cross. Can only afford to pay no more than two weeks bond. Not into pets so looking only at places without pets. I do not smoke, drink occasionally but I'm studying as well so won't have too much time to drink. I am easy to get along with but usually keep to myself. Length of stay will be about 4 months but might extend depending on work circumstances. Need a furnished bedroom. Study desk would be great if available. I am very clean and tidy. Get in touch soon if you have a room that suits me.

Love life and socialising but also love my down time and privacy so will be respectful of giving you space without having to be a hermit. I am a semi-professional that works work Mon-Fri with some flexibility with hours, very secure employment and can easily demonstrate trustworthiness if needed. I usually spend one day/night over weekends with friends and family on the peninsula. Currently happily single (not on any dating sites) and usually out one night a week catching up with friends. I am keen on saving money due to an off-the-plan apartment purchase (2 years away) so would like rent to cover bills, internet and off street parking and looking for long term digs. I am a cigarette smoker (for the time being) but considerate of others so only ever smoke outside. Otherwise very clean living - no alcohol or other drugs. Easy going happy person that loves to get home and put on PJ's to relax. Love cooking just not every night. I am neat and tidy but not obsessively so. I haven't house shared for some years but enjoyed the experience when I did, so am looking forward to a new chapter.
I work and live in Melbourne for over 10 years. Love south yarra area, but anywhere with easy transport to south yarra is ok too. I'm pretty neat and tidy, but not necessarily OCD.I shared house with people for years so I'm pretty much house trained :) I like my peace and quiet at home. I enjoy going out for brunch and coffee, trying new restaurants. Hope to find somewhere and someone to live with comfortably. Henny
I'm a 30 year old Management Consulting professional, working full time in the city (9 to 5-7 pm). I emigrated to Australia over 4 years ago (from France) and have been calling Melbourne home since. In summer, I especially enjoy spending time in nature, going on hikes and bike rides, being active (e.g. running, badminton). I tend to socialise often so spend a lot of my free time being out and about. Of course, winter is a bit different and I squeeze in a few toasty nights in :) In terms of flatsharing, I am adaptable to others and value trustworthy and mature flatmates. I am happy with an occasional social night without necessarily mixing our social lives. I do prefer clean and tidy spaces and hence clean up every couple of days if needs be. In terms of furniture, I have all the kitchen and tableware, high chairs and little bits that can fill in the space but sold a lot of stuff from my previous move :( I do have a bike and need a little space to park it somewhere off street. It's not a Ferrari but you never know.
